Welcome back everybody! ❤️ I have good news! After some horrible crunch time last month, I made my deadline and am now free for a couple of weeks to spend time on this project again!!! Development has resumed! 🎉🎉🎉
There's not much new visible in this video, however, as development is now focused on working towards the World Explorer program, that will let players travel through and explore the worlds and histories created by the simulator. The simulation you see, though you can't see it now, is the first version in several years that is once again recording and exporting history to be viewable in the World Explorer! It's far from finished yet, but I'm super hyped about it myself and where it's going. ❤️
As always, thanks so much for watching, liking, and subscribing! It really is what makes me keep coming back to this project after every hiatus. ❤️❤️❤️

“After all these years, we’re still together” ahh
Welermertas and Fanfen are like that couple that keeps getting together and breaking up.
Judging from the massive amounts of colonial holdings the Commonwealth possesses, it's pretty obvious that they'd have a navy or naval doctrine not too dissimilar to the US Navy's, as they'd need the capability for Global Power Projection to maintain stability throughout their sphere of influence.
The Protectorate, on the other hand, judging from their limited colonial expansion, would most likely adopt a doctrine not unlike the Soviet Navy in our Cold War, in which they'd focus on making the enemy bleed for every kilometer of sea and to lure bigger fleets into territories filled with mines and traps, whilst also preying upon smaller formations of ships.
Some here might already notice the parallels between these two and our Cold War superpowers, so some might ask if they have nuclear weapons, which I find quite unlikely, as I have heard that the white tech level that's achieved at the end of every episode is equivalent to late 19th-Century to early 20th-Century technology.
However, I will provide some food for thought, as conflict always leads to greater and extensive technological advances, it might not be far out of the question that the two superpowers may have already achieved nuclear technology, as their supposed rivalry may imply.
This would be a wild world to live in given that there's likely a massive cold war going on between these 2 superpowers.

Thank you for make a timeline! Really cool ❤
May Watin and Singshen stand eternal!
Im a bit surprised that great fanfen didnt suffer overextension around the 7 min mark
Being a union between two states (Fanfen and Welemertas) gives them more leeway with regards to overextension compared to being just a single state, and this holds even if one state in the union takes full control of it, as Fanfen did when it became Great Fanfen. Even if Welemertas becomes the junior partner in the union, they're still treated differently than if they're just another subjugated state in that situation :)
Really cool, I especially loved the competition to colonize the east, they both raced to seize as much land as possible, a bit like the US and Canada did in our world!
Very stable & powerful republics this time!
The two superpowers Fanfen Republic and the Grand Protectorate of Helmertas would compete each other and after some vicious wars , rivalries , finally accpeted to be unify into a big entity First as an alliance and then into Union to reach the ultimate level the Commomwealth of the Great Fanfen . This union would last to 275 years to finally broke up
You could do a simulation on the Avatar the last air bender world
the way Fanfen essentially finnessed Welemertas out of a state at 6:10 - 6:41 is kind of funny
I'm sure they don't hold aminosity from that literally 2000 years later, right?
...right?
5:15 predakis conquered most of welemertas only to be liberated. Then it happen on Fanfen later aswell (Putting it here btw)

I love how detailed these simulations are.
Thank you! 😊It was a lot of hard work getting the simulator this far. ❤
I wonder if this is caused by the geography of the region they inhabit or just pure chance
This would be an interesting world to live in....
Also find it fascinating that the western parts which has lower technological development is wealthier than the areas that is rapidly going through the industrial revolution right even at the later end of the simulation!
It's a combination of both, definitely. On this world the central continent has a pretty strong advantage in climate, so usually whatever nation dominates that dominates the world. I haven't seen it split between two competing superpowers like this before, that was very cool to see happen on its own. 😁
@@mmminteresting2440 Yeah, interesting! The end of the simulation is meant to represent like early industrialization. ~1850s in our world or a bit earlier. So it's entirely plausible that a very rich non-industrialized country is still holding its own even as other areas are racing ahead technologically. 👍
👍
Idea titan (Saturn moon)
Ohhh, that would be cool!
