    Your place is beautiful Carla. Both Boquete and Volcan are beautiful. Can't wait to actually get there. What makes me want to live in Panama most, is how everyone describes the people. They seem to be friendly, kind and accepting. That is very important to me. Thank you for all the tips and info Carla!

    The property looks so gorgeous, self expressed, relaxing and classic! Carla seems so well integrated, knowledgeable and practically idealistic - what a pioneer!
    Your videos are like a little vacation for me, please keep them coming!

    Thank you Carla for sharing such an amazing positive and educational video. I can hardly wait for September 2021 to visit Panama on the relocation tour. I already knew that Panama is extremely beautiful, but I have to say, after seeing your video, it truly showed me that Panama is Paradise!

    This is one of the best yet videos. Great aerial views of Volcan! Thank you Ms. Black for sharing your story and home with us. I love your dog's video bombing the interview. He/she added a nice touch to the video. Volcan and Boquete are both so lovely-I don't know which community I will call home in hopefully 2021. Jackie, thank you! Please keep the interviews and videos coming!

    Wow, video shows the most beautiful views I've ever seen of Panama. If my wife were alive we would be moving there, pronto, but I'm kind of easy going enough to stay pat playing in the garden during Spring and Summer and sitting under a maple tree having a cold beer once in a while. Panama seems to be a feast for the eyes and maybe the pocket book. Wish I were a kid again just to get out of America; it never was what we wanted it to be. I was born in '43, and from the time I was well aware in the 50's, saw that stress living under a government that was becoming more and more powerful would one day become a problem, and here we are now on the verge of economic and social collapse. I may be moving to Panama yet - if Silver goes to $50, I'm outta here. Sorry for the rant, and really enjoyed this video. ciao.

    • @fanfare100
      @fanfare100 3 года назад +1

      Nah, not to worry. You may not have to wait until silver goes to $50. And Panama is part of America. It's Central America. So, in anticipation, I'll say, Welcome to Panama! Sorry to read about your wife. Panama is very easy going, so you will like that aspect. Watch all of the3 videos so that you can see what I'm saying: ruclips.net/user/PanamaRelocationToursvideos?view=0&sort=da&flow=grid And you'll also see what I mean by not having to wait for Silver to be at $50. Enjoy the life you have. No sense in waiting for the last moment to be able to really soak it in. Take care. BTW, in some places in Panama you can buy a beer for less than $1, and a decent one at that.

    im 60 but would i be able to live there at 62 living off of SS,im wondering.great video and well wishes to you and your husband...and the dog to,God Bless!

    • @fanfare100
      @fanfare100 3 года назад +4

      Eih Tone, If your SS is more than $1,000 and you don't have a lot of pre-existing debt, yes. My sis lived on $890/month for a couple of years before she got her promotion to $1,200/month. She bought a car brand new and is paying $180/month on it. Her apartment in the city was 2 bedrooms for $520/month with all utilities and internet included and a small shared courtyard. Now her new apartment in the suburbs is much more spacious and modern ~$720/month and is 2-bedrooms with a back yard. And now her hubby makes over $800/month extra. He's partially disabled. They pays for electricity which is about $50/month because she's an Air Conditioning hog. But it depends where you live because the farther you are from a major city, usually the lower the prices are. To get a very rough idea of rental property prices take a peek here: panamarelocationtours.com/rentals as a reference. Food is literally dirt cheap. So you won't go hungry. As long as you stay away from tourist traps and eat where the locals eat. Your groceries will also be very reasonable, as long as you stick to local brands. Definitely doable. All the best to you!
      Oh, I forgot to mention, you can easily complement your SS cheque by getting some online gigs. Very conservative you can easily get employment online that pays at the very least $6/hr to get started, but once you know what you're doing you can up that rate. If the online employer is from outside of Panama, your income will not be taxed by Panama.
      So, all that said, you may be able to retire _before_ you hit the age of 62. You can probably retire right now! Good luck! Hope that helps.

    Gorgeous property! I imagine you have spent a great deal of time getting it just right. Do you personally maintain those gardens? Who mows the grass? And how often does it need to be mowed? I assume it grows year round, correct? Do you grow fruit trees or berries or avocados? And do you bike? I bike the rails to trails here in the US and wonder if biking is really an option in Panama. If it isn't common, then it's likely that biking probably isn't too safe on the roads. Or are bikes commonplace? Thanks for any info or links to info you can offer!

    One question for any Panamanian, with all those trees how do you exterminate safely those large comehen nests on your property?

    • @robertochu5337
      @robertochu5337 2 года назад

      you normally dont find big nest of bees because in panama rains to much, but if you have one you just call the exterminator and they come and take care of that or if you wanna be an activist just call a bee farmer and they will come and try to move the nest but this bee farmers are not located in all panama just in chiriqui and some parts
