- 2020 LDV G10 Van Review.
So i took the new LDV G10 out for a drive and wow is all i have to say. LDV's quality of luxury in their vehicles is getting a whole lot better. The G10 and this one the Executive model is the luxury one. So it has nice styling along with some chrome pieces placed nicely around the outside and then moving on to the inside it gets better with cream leather interior a whole load of cup holders and USB ports and 2 captains chairs and also a big pull down screen for everyone to enjoy some down time. Under the bonnet is a 2.0 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine that produces 165kw of power and 330nm of torque so it gets along ok for a van.

Been looking for a twin cab considering I carry tools promotion stuff and my dog but dad mentioned the van and when taking into cost and comfort I recon this is just what I need….thanks for the review

Yes the G10 van is a good vehicle all round and i have seen it used for a lot of different applications so yes I think it would suit your needs well
Thanks for the video and well done to show potential buyers the quality of this car. Depending on the demand in Australia, it's quite easy for SAIC to install all those safety features to the G10. I won't be surprise the next generation G10 will have all those safety things included. Look at the MG!! As regards the 5 stars rating, it is also quite easy for SAIC to tailor manufacture their cars to meet the 5 stars requirements. Look at the T60!! It all depends on whether they want to crack this segment of the market.

I looked at so many videos on this model and not 1 person has gone into detail on the boot space. I need to put a wheel chair in there, so I need to see how the seats can go forward or fold down/up to increase the space.

Sorry I didn't fold the seats down. If you did then yes you could get a wheel chair in there. Maybe if you fold it up you should be able to put it in without the seats moving. I am sure If you went down to your local dealer with your wheelchair you can try it.
It is a nice mpv my only concern is lack on the active safety part & a good diesel engine or hybrid system. I think there is a LDV g20 in the origin market has a better safety and more efficient engine. It will be good on our market.

Yes I do agree and I do hope that LDV lift their game in regards to better engines and safety features but I am sure it will come as LDV has come along way but still a way to go though.
I would like to have seen how easy it is to park and turning circle
If I get another one I will show it on the video but the steering was light and you also have the reverse camera so it does make it a lot easier for parking. If you would like to go down to your local dealer and take one for a drive to see for yourself
this would be great for rideshare.

You should be able to remove the rear seats if you don't use or need them.
No AEB !
No ACC !
No LDW !
Etc, etc..

White interior for a family car, that make sence. It won't be white for too long with children n the back!

Yes it does look nice but your right it will get very dirty in no time with the kids.
I can tell you both first hand that unless you invest in a set of good quality seat covers. With kids, those lovely cream leather seats will be the colour of dog sh!t within a month and will need professional attention. Your better off spending $300-400 getting those seats protected than having to spend nearly double that getting them cleaned and bought back to good condition (like I had to)

Maybe but they are selling very well here and I myself think it is a good van for the money.
