I have owned the LDV G10 Executive in ocean blue for just one year now and it's been brilliant. Apart from the basic info offered by Westco Motors I've found sitting high gives you a completely new perspective of the road and surrounds plus the ability of the vehicle to take calls for you hands free leaving your phone alone. Did a road tour from Sydney down the coast to Melbourne, then on to Tassie for a good tour around and finally a good explore of the Ocean Road. The luggage space we had in the G10 7seat was enormous. We piled in camping gear, BBQ stuff, clothes enough for a month plus cameras & videos equipment. We had just a wonderful time and the G10 7seat never missed a beat. If I was was pressed to make a less than perfect evaluation I would have to say there is only two things. If you are crawling at ant speed then press the accelerator lightly there is a momentary lag of one second as the turbine picks up speed. If you floor the pedal there is no such problem. The 2nd and that just might be MY vehicle if I start and quickly move out the front video screen does not start perhaps once in 50 times. So I start and give it just a few seconds to boot and there is no problem. Hope you find this comment worthy.

      Hi Gary,
      I'm seriously looking into the D90 & 7-seater G10 now.
Your review is very helpful before I go for that test drive.
      Cheers!

@@yingyangorca4124 It's now 3.5yrs and it still looks like new and drives just fine. The only parts I have purchased during my service visits to my trusted mechanics are the oil and filters, once air cleaners. Last service they rotated the tires, that's it. The great blue G10 still looks like new. see: ruclips.net/video/W4Fmn1UBTV4/видео.html

      Hello,
How’s the G10 after a few years? Currently looking on reviews and comments about this particular model.
      Thank you

Bought my wife a g10 brand new 2 years ago… thought to myself this will be interesting! A little 2ltr VW gulf engine pulling along this great big Chinese people mover, what can go wrong!? 🤷‍♂️ anyway! It was what she wanted. Touch wood, so far it has just been absolutely flawless! Not one single drama. I’m so impressed with the value for money and quality that I’ve just ordered a new T60 max and will be trading in my 2014 ranger

Hi zoky Zura. I have now owned my G10 Executive sine April 2018, so that's over two and a half years now and it works like a charm. During that time I have been limited because of Covid but managed to take a round trip up the coast recently with six people in the G10 with their luggage and all agreed in great comfort. We visited Foster, Coffs, Port Mq, and the area all around those areas in great detail. We did about 1800 kilometers all up over 6days. The G10 executive really likes the open road. It's quite, a comfortable ride on cruise control. So many people have commented on the G10 wanting to know it's origin, serviceability, spare parts & purchase cost. Many are very surprised when I tell them I paid only $35K for the G10 (but with cash)

Thanks Gary, only took me the better part of the year to realise you replied.
Thank you for you reply. I'm actually still in the market for one of these. The young family is steadily growing.
I'm always drawn to this vehicle but am unsure exactly what is keeping me from it.
I think it might be it's relatively new appearance to the market, service experience aspect of LDV. Id be hoping to keep the vehicle hopefully at least 7years realistically do you believe it will hold up?

Westco.. i hope this is ok to mention here.. but I live in the NSW Illawarra region .. a long way from beautifully NQ.. but I needed a new urban light cargo van for our car parts business.. and for me to drive to and from work if it was comfortable.. as most vans are not.
So after searching around the makes... I settled on a a 2019 G10 Auto Diesel van.. and gotta say.. its reminded me of the driver comfort found in our previous Chrysler Voyager the miss's had 15 years back..... this is currently the best van I've had. I'm older, worked hard most my life and its left my back in not a great condition.. but the LDV seats.. same seats as in the luxury edition apparently.. helped win me over, along with common sense option of Barn Rear doors and Automatic, good dash and Android interface etc.
Price wise $30,500 price tag was fine.. but I was not wanting or hunting "cheap"..... regardless of the price savings of $12,000 or so on a comparable new Hi Ace (Which does NOT have a barn Door option... crazy!) or I-Load which are also as good to drive IMO but not as comfortable...as the LDV and Hi Ace.... I'll be careful in saying.. these are really, really worth checking out.
Components built into this Chinese made van are also world class for the product being made. I'd have liked to see keyless ignition in the G10 van like its people mover counterpart has.. as couriers and delivery drivers particularly .. are in and out of a van more often .. fumbling for keys while not a deal changer.. is not a PITA..and also a nudge bar option to save the front from bumps etc.. but .. otherwise.. 9 out of 10 for sure. .a high 9 too.

It's been 16 months now & my seven seat G10 Executive is still going strong and perfectly well. Most important is the wife is happy sitting high like a princess & we have gone every where. I am a happy man. ONLY one thing bothers me but it is a plague that infests ALL modern vehicles is the "distance to service" that shuts down your digital systems and forces an immediate need to service. If dealerships were truly concerned & honest they would prove it was only a reminder by showing you how to clear the "SERVICE" warning until you can service at a more appropriate time that suites your busy life but they don't. This alone proves Dealerships are "*************" use your own words here but none of them would be inappropriate.

. I bought a G10plus from a local Port Macquarie dealer. Within 7 weeks was back to dealer 3 times on 3rd time Gearbox warning light came on car wouldnt start and was unable to put it into neutral to move it out of a driveway. Dealer and LDV wont supply me with a loan vehicle and so had to hire a vehicle.
My advice, dont buy a LDV and stay away from the Port Macquarie dealership as they wont look at it for 4 weeks and dont stock parts.

Great review and definitely love the executive compared to the original g10. How many child seat anchor points do these vans have?

That would be the screen just playing up with the recording. Standard. If you record a computer monitor screen it'll do weird things too :)

    NO advanced safety features ie
    No ADV
    No AEE
    Etc, etc...!!
