I took the 500 off the price. Had my g10 turbo diesel 2years 55.000km all good. Just button for front right windows broke but they fixed it in 1 week all go.
I have one of these vans and the motor definitely rattles, which worried me at first but I have got used to it and it hasn't given me any problems town or country driving (but only 25,000kms to date) The main problem I have had is the rear door handle broke away and 3 out of4 of these I have seen have had the same issue, so that is a bad design - basically it is too easy to grab the plastic rather than the metal handle to open the door which causes the eventual breakaway. Overall though after 25,000 kms and 18 months of ownership I am very happy with the van.
@@aronbarjaktarevic9112 60,000kms and still no issues (apart from the rear door handle). In fact, it has proven to be a great van to own. The only annoyance I have is that there are no LDV service agents where I live and the closest is approx.1000km from me, but I have worked the services in with my travel commitments so far....just worth keeping in mind.
Is there anyway to take automatic locks off when you hit 8km not good when you do courier work .ldv guy said you cant disable surely this isnt correct is it?
Hi, you should be able to have it programmed off, if you can find the person with the right scan tool, if not you can do a mechanical solution and use a switch to cut the wire to the central locking, you may need to use a double pole relay if you find its a seperate wire for each side. Then when you start your run you simply push the button and the central locking will not work, push the button again and its back to normal
Off the lot, and the engine light came on, fuel gauge does not work all the way, tire presser sensors set to 30PSI but should be 50 , engine light on for first 1000, but its still running, atlot of tappet noise, when you take off it feels like you are doing damage with hard acceleration, booked in for first service 3-week wait.. But Im not unhappy just yet, its running and doing its job.
@@DrLockShop seems you bought a lemon when i did my 5000k service my engine light came on when i was leaving so i went straight back in they put it on the computer and the reason was someone used their both feet when driving example left foot on brake etc. i know it wasnt me cos i dont drive like that seems it was the guy who took it for a test drive. silly reason but has never come back on. im happy hope it will last half as my kia pregio i had that for 16years done 867,000ks on same motor and gearbox good luck on that remember they are a cheap option
@@DrLockShop Thanks for the reply, someone told me never to buy one 2nd hand with over 140,000kms. Is that true or is it a specific model that had problems??
@@stendecstretcher4983 all the owners complain of constant turbo issues and rust starting within 12 months of ownership. they are cheap trashy 3 year vans, not made to last.
We took the van on finance they paid the van in full, so our deposit was not taken from the full payment, We did get it back 2-3 weeks 3 emails and 4 phone calls later
There didn't seem to be that much noise inside the van, well at least not on the video. Good to know the pros and cons of buying a new van, thanks

Once you fully load the van with all your equipment do another road test and see if it’s lessens the noise in the van.
