  • If you don't want a Kia Carnival, this is the people mover you should be checking out.
    That's because the LDV Mifa petrol minivan is a really compelling choice for those who want a lot of value, and a touch of luxury, in their family van.
    There are three grades available, and I'll tell you my recommendation for the best spec in this test, and plenty of stuff you really ought to know about the usability and practicality with this seven-seater.
    Yes, it's a 7 seat model, not an eight-seater. That's because all versions currently have captain's seats in the second row.

    From the outside it almost makes the old Ssangyong Stavic look attractive, but from a practical vehicle perspective it does give people an opportunity to look at something that isn’t a Carnival, great review as always 👍🏻

      A carnival is not good for a long distance drive especially with a full load of people. It feels very confined and tiring after a 3 hour drive. I haven't driven this Mifa yet and am looking forward testing it.

    wow you must be on a kick back from ldv after recommending that van with a payload that is lucky to carry passengers with no luggage and a very poor view with strange front pillar and expensive service cost and the biggest problem with ldv is within 2 years they are rusting in between the panels on there vehicles and you recommending to buy them

      No kickback. I made it clear that it’s not going to suit everyone. Remember that there are lots of Uber and HC drivers that only ever use one of the rear seats. I’ve been in them myself, dozens of times.

    ive owned and LDV in australia. 2 years of terrible problems, ended up with a nissan elgrand and never looked back. i had rust issues after 12/13 months. windscreens took 4 weeks to arrive, abs module failures and car door closing failures. ill never buy another LDV purely because of the lack of follow up customer service and the time it took to get parts.. i had some reviews lined up ready to post but decided against it after LDV thew me under a bus. a vehicle shouldn't have so many problems when i had done under 50,000km in 2 years. in the 2 years i had the LDV G10 it had been in for "repairs" for exactly 24 weeks.

    Interesting vehicle, perfect for the Airport to Hotel run for a professional driver, put a tow bar on it to tow the load hauler and you will be making some good money moving people to and from the airport. I suspect tis is the market that LDV are looking it, for private use? Could potentially be a replacement for the VW Transporter Multi-Van since its got all the modern day tech in it.
    Nice turbo petrol and 8-speed torque converter transmission, can LDV please put that combo into the T60 ute?

    • @351tgv
      @351tgv 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@therightcar - the simple answer is A D R, AUSTRALIA DESIGN RULES
      NZ basically is a copy of EU rules so compliance is not an issue as car markers can simply built to EU spec and sell it in NZ, whereas here in good ol Australia every new car sold has to comply to ADR's which were designed to help the local manufacturers but are now obsolete as we (as in Australia) no longer make cars here for our market.
