It's a chame Mazda droved the MPV segment over to only SUV options. I still own a 2009 Mazda MPV 2.3L Turbo AWD and, imho, there's very little the Carnival can offer that the MPV doesn't already have. Yes, it is obvious that a newer car tends to be safer, more economic on fuel and overall more modern, but mine (for example) has the suspension height (almost) of a Mazda 6, it has electric side doors and electric trunk door, it has AWD, it has TCS and ABS and ESC and all that safety stuff along with multiple airbags (again, obviously not as many as a 2021 Kia offers) and it feels like a car, drives like a family sedan. Also, doesn't Honda has a new Odyssey now that should go against these two? Nice vids! Keep them coming! =)
This is the only direct comparison and thank you for doing this.
Can you slide the seat in the front a little bit to get more luggage space?
ok when all the winners of every segment then for the overall award do all of them then pick a winner of course there only can be one winner
Carnival diesel 9 seater
R17 tyre & rims
Full options
Minus: dual sunroof, wireless charging heated seat & steering wheel
Very impressive KIA Carnival!!!👍🏽👍🏽
How do they compare on towing?
I wouldn’t tow regularly with either, but i would go for carnival
I have always been a fan of Toyota. But that's one ugly van
I would rather have an imported Toyota Vellfire V6 (Executive Lounge) over both of these.
Australia dealer is too stupid to import these 2 cars into Australia market..
Is this the super grandia elite equivalent in Philippines?
Yup
Please bring the top line of Carnival and test with High end Sienna, Honda, Pacifica and any of your choice. More wide range of detailed review and some off road testing would be wonderful.
Sienna and Pacifica are not sold in Australia 😅
Honda, I think, stopped selling the Odyssey 😅
@@wosamosman9814 What do u have then?? 🤔
Carnival anytime!!!
The KIA should have VIP reclining chairs, and touchscreens... Why do you want so much space if you don't use it for comfort?
Why not Toyota Aussie bring in the alphard ? Instead of Toyota Aussie get u a work van hiace with more seat and cost $$$$$$🤷🏼♂️
Toyota a real people mover
Quantum is the best
The Toyota sienna is so much better than that Kia. But we don't get it in Australia
Yeah, like why spend all this money on a new model when you have a better one?
the dealer is too dumb
If carnival use AWD system that will be more awesome
but it's basic on front wheel drive
Where is the Honda Odyssey or Hyundai imax or ldv g10 or Mercedes Benz v Class or Volkswagen multivan
Granvia is better 🙂👍👍
I do turn off if they convert them into hearses
uhh.. Van vs MPV?
Nice job kia.
Yep just beated a Japanese brand
@@james6969 they beaten which japanese brand?! Wtf the kia here compares to a toyota sienna and the toyota sienna wins easily.
@@alanmay7929 no aboustly not kia is almost a toyota level and at times is acctuly better
@@alanmay7929 also why are you being so salty to kia they are a very good brand
@@james6969 they are good cars but not the best, and this video has no sense at all, this kia only compares to a toyota sienna which is also a family minivan.
If I ever buy a minivan that would be Kia Carnival.....
Agreed if I were to take a minivan I would take this over anything
It is a minivan that compares to a toyota sienna
Same. Toyota sucks when it comes to minivans.
Granvia is more like rival for Hyundai Staria lounge, Kia Carnival is not big enough.
Kia ... You sure about that??
I own a near top of the range Toyota Alphard and it's a dream to drive.
Toyota replace the trago without giving any thought at all to the people who would purchase the car, the main people purchasing this car are people with big families and the main thing people with big families want boot space, if Toyota want to compete with Kia they can change one thing and be a huge contender, offer 2 rows of 3 seats as an 8 seater to accommodate for boot space, families want sensible seating for commutes, not individual lounge chairs. Come on Toyota use your heads please
No competition! Kia beats Toyota hands down.
I take Kia anytime
I do love kia and Hyundia
Thats what she said, ill take the toyota sienna anytime.
@@alanmay7929 such a salty toyota fanboy
@@james6969 are you dumb?! I own a vw t5 and a toyota hilux what are you trying to justify?!
Same samsung and Kia
Too bad you didn't get to test the Toyota Alphard or Vellfire. These are the real standard bearers for MPVs.
Hahahahaha overrated and overpriced Alphard
Kia carnival best of the best
Carnival long time to beat the toyota. Test after 10 years
pay to win.
Go Kia Carnival GUV! #TeamKia #ToyotaWho?
What ridiculous tests for a van. LOL....More proof this CarAdvise needs better managerial input to content. Embarrassing!
Are you even serious?! The kia carnival compares mostly yo the toyota sienna, the toyota in this episode is a totally different type of vehicle with rear solid axle and actual offroad capability with 4x4.
bruh why offroad get a toyota hilux not that
@@james6969 yeah another troll! This toyota actually uses a hilux modified platform and some companies have already converted it to 4x4 i think toyota even have awd version of it.
@@alanmay7929 wrong
IT’S A VAN GOD DAMN IT
@@craigpodsprojames2500 true it not a 4x4 but rather a fucking van
Are you guys serious the toyota here is like my living room they dont even compare. The via is a joke when we talk about moving ppl in luxury
Toyota’s offering was designed by a drunk Japanese guy in the middle of a karaoke song! That van is one of the ugliest shit I’ve ever seen! They should put more effort in their designs.
