- When it comes to safety in India, it's always important to consider the safety ratings provided by the Global New Car Assessment Programme (GNCAP). GNCAP is an independent organization that conducts crash tests on vehicles and assigns safety ratings based on their performance.
As per the GNCAP safety ratings for these three cars:
Slavia: The Skoda Slavia has not been tested by GNCAP yet. However, it is based on MQB A0 IN platform that has scored 5 stars in the latest GNCAP Protocols in Taigun & Kushaq.
Honda City: The Honda City has been tested by GNCAP and has received a 4-star safety rating. This indicates that the car provides excellent protection to both the driver and passengers in the event of a crash.
Verna: The Hyundai Verna has not been tested by GNCAP yet so safety ratings are unknown.
In summary, if safety is your primary concern, the Skoda Slavia and VW Virtus appear to be the best choice among the three cars mentioned, based on the GNCAP safety ratings. However, it's always a good idea to consider other factors such as price, features, and personal preferences when making a car purchase decision.

Great analysis brother and I agree with every part, i don't know why but mostly so called big automobile youtubers never showed creta's and seltos plastic quality but when it comes to slavia/virtus then they always compare with something like Octavia or vento/rapid (discontinued)
And when we had vento/rapid then as per them it lacked ambient lighting, push start, air purifier, sunroof and what not.
Btw almost all your analysis are spot on and I really wish that this channel would get more recognition and love.
You said it! When Rapid & Vento were there, they kept on promoting air purifier, push start and connect features and never promoted build, plastics, practical features. like one touch up down, anti pinch with build & dyanmics comparable to Audi A3.
@@SunderdeepSingh even now bhai, they keep ignoring, never mention world class platform, paint, build, driving dynamics.
For me, the most comical part is, when this same youtuber went to Europe, he said we should demand better cars and we should not be happy with mediocre cars but but but when he is in India, these mediocre are real VFM 😂
@@abhisheksolanki8635 Very well said.
Absolutely loved your points.
When car manufacturers provide sunroof then they say why sunroof (not okay for Indian summers, not ok for safety), why small sunroof (small size), why big panoramic sunroof (allows high heat load, body structural strength is reduced), why it doesn't fully open, why we can't have DJ dance and Masti party opening that sunroof and taking our heads out blah blah blah. Then when there is no sunroof they start complaining sunroof is the biggest essential feature that is missed!
RUclipsrs do GNCAP testing just by blowing some punches on the car body and door and shut slamming the doors to checke out whether it matches with German "this".
Tttttttttþþ
Alto owner who drives safely is more important to the channel than polo rash driver. Golden words 🙌🙌dil jeet liya paaji!!
I mean it 🙏
💯
It's not always the driver who is driving safely will not meet with accident. If that rash polo driver dashes the alto, chances of Polo driver surviving the accident is a lot higher than the one in Alto.
@Anup though polo driver may survive da crash but ppl's chappals will not let polo driver survive after de crash
Polo h hi bhagane wali gaadi
Ofcourse if saftey is priority, then just go for SKODA/VW, even TATA.
If spending 20 lakhs then please don't go for features, go for safety first. Everything comes after safety.
FIAT-CHEVY-FORD , all best and safe companies have left india, don't let remaining go
I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the meticulous research and fact-finding you consistently put into your videos. Your dedication to verifying information and providing accurate, insightful content truly distinguishes your channel from others. Watching your videos is always an enjoyable and educational experience.
As a fan of your content, I have a few suggestions for future videos that I believe would be of great interest to your audience:
1. Detailed comparison of the latest models of other sedans in the same segment as the Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus, such as Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. In this comparison, consider including the following points:
a. Engine specifications and performance
b. Fuel efficiency
c. Ride and handling
d. Exterior design and features
e. Interior design, quality, and features
f. Infotainment system and connectivity options
g. Boot space and practicality, including actual usable boot space instead of mere numbers
h. Pricing and value for money
i. Headlight throw and visibility
j. Active and passive safety features given as standard across variants
k. Leg space for rear passengers
l. Availability of headrests for all five passengers
m. Suspension setup and comfort levels
n. Noise dampening in the car cabin
o. Service network and cost of ownership
p. Ground clearance and manoeuvrability in different road conditions
2. A separate video that specifically compares the features of the base variants of all these vehicles from their official sales brochures. Include a noteworthy point about the 2023 Hyundai Verna not offering Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with its base variant and discuss how Hyundai, Honda and Maruti manages to keep costs down by offering the older naturally aspirated engine technology, as opposed to the turbocharged petrol engines found in the Slavia and Virtus.
3. Arrange the 2023 models of the Slavia and Virtus for your comparisons, to ascertain if there have been any further improvements made to the quality of the exterior and interior of these vehicles, ensuring that your audience gets the most up-to-date information possible.
4. No other channel has compared the panel parts of each vehicle. If you can manage to arrange the panels to show the sheet metal quality used by each of such vehicles, that will be an interesting comparison and may tell us why Skoda and VW manufactured cars consistently achieve higher ratings in crash tests than others.
These comprehensive comparisons could provide valuable insights for potential buyers and enthusiasts, helping them make informed decisions about their next vehicle purchase. Additionally, a thorough exploration of the unique features, performance, and pricing of these sedans will offer an in-depth understanding of the current sedan market.
Guys finally the GNCAP verdict is out SKODA SLAVIA and VW VIRTUS are crowned kings in terms of safety they have outshined their SUV cousins KUSHAQ/TAIGUN and are now the safest Indian cars with 5 STAR rating and also have scored the best in child safety .........More power to the owners ....Drive safe
Honda city 5th gen us also 5 star
I agree with you Sunderdeep. I love my Skoda Slavia ❤. Unmatched build Quality and driving pleasure. Every time😊 I drive it, I love it more. Recently done Music system and Ac update. Service experience was not good as compared to my VW Polo. But car performance is improved. Thanks to Skoda VW for regaining Sedan cars fame in Indian market.😊
virtus is love
But Slavia have feel bro ❤️❤️
@@HimanshuKumar-me9cl both are same engines
I just loves Sedans and compact sedans ❤
I have Tata Indigo Diesel (2009).
Now I want to buy new compact sedan but I am confused between Dzire and Tigor
Very well said bhaiya
The platforms are the fundamentals to safer structure and lead to better safety and dynamics.
Although I have a City 4th gen and have driven it around 20k in almost 16 months.
My first go was Rapid and I still admire the elegance it posts. The driving dynamics . We have to admit that both are different engine types and will definitely have a different drive feel.
These cars deserve better sales.
Global launch of Sonata !!
5% market share by 2025 seems very difficult as of now. What would be your suggestions to the brand to achieve this , personally I think the dimensions of Kushaq and Taigun are hurting them big time 😔
I agree. They had all time of the world to come up with new SUVs and they came up with Taigun / Kushaq which literally sometimes give under 4m SUV vibes despite their many strengths. They clearly lost from day 1 itself with no pano sunroof and size advantage. This is why I consider 1700-1800 units of sedan as successful because they are bringing these numbers in a dead horse segment whereas with the same logic, mid size SUV sales should have been 3500+ monthly to be considered as successful.
@@SunderdeepSingh tough times ahead unless they do radical changes to both the SUVs although I hear the plant is working at capacity, I think the idea was always to milk the platform for export and India was never in focus
@@aniketsingh8313 It is not really like that. They somewhat expected a better responses for Taigun / Kushaq which they didn't get because of the onslaught from Indian car manufacturers that risk they overlooked. I do agree that they do need cars like T-Roc, Karoq, Kamiq, Polo, Fabia under 26 lacs to shine in the respective segments. They always play the catching game and fall behind.
Even I have the same opinion. VW Taigun and Skoda kushaq are great crossovers but the dimension flaws are hurting them a lot. Look at Toyota Hyryder, creta, seltos, mg astor all of them looks a segment above kushaq and Taigun. This needs immediate improvement. No doubt VW/Skoda have their own plus points but to survive in a market like India they need to learn from Hyundai. If this was the case with Hyundai they would have changed the dimensions within 1 years. I feel while doing market research VW don't employ someone who really knows about cars in India. If the dimensions are not bang on why will someone go for a car that looks small. By the way VW troc at a price point of 19 to 25 lacs would have been cracker of a deal. I initially considered car Taigun, Jeep compass, troc and seltos. Finally I bought VW virtus gt. I cancelled Taigun only because the I felt it won't be worthy for a 20 lacs car as the road presence is missing. We need VW/ Skoda to grow in India. They should pull up socks and smash it. If build quality is improved Kia seltos is a perfect crossover at that price point. VW Taigun dimensions should be 1800 mm in width, 4300 mm in length and height is fine or else bring VW taos to India and compete directly with creta and seltos, price it little higher they will still sell. I don't know why they didn't consider the dimensions??
@@SunderdeepSingh Exactly my point. They need to bring troc....there is a gap in 18 to 25 lacs segment. Jeep compass price is rising linearly, if they can launch VW troc in 18 to 25 lacs things will change. Market will be disrupted.
Muze bahut achha laga ye video and agree with all single alphabet words or can say all true lines... @@SunderdeepSingh bahut bahut shukriya sir replay k liye ... 🙏
Sundardeep ji Engine wise which is better. Toyota. VW or Honda is giving 3yrs/unlimited km warrenty. VW 4 yrs/1 Lac km
Sir your videos are very informative, still I am having some doubts about slavia....1) Turbo engines were not suitable for city drive & their reliability is not proven. 2) further if TSI engines are not giving mileage then we don't have any option to convert it to cng. 3) I am not to able to decide between Slavia & Honda city.
Totally agree with you. I am a skoda owner since last 10 year and again purchase skoda salvia 1.0 style AT. Safety is the main reason, that’s y I purchased skoda again in the era of SUVs like harrier and Creta.
Stable body shell in my view should be the base around which other features can built but without a strong shell they may not be able to help as much. Paint quality I would say Honda and Hyundai probably on par, i have a 4th gen but very difficult to maintain a new look. Vw and skoda by far leave others behind in paint quality, fit n finish, tyre sizes commensurate with the body etc. I just hope they promote and market what they excel in and stand behind the customers to ensure they earn the trust. It's mainly the hitch and fear with these cars that ends up converting into a deal with competition. I will definitely buy one of these two brands (VW / Skoda) in my next purchase. Infact I am all eyes for Tiagun for it's understated elegance yet tough build. Hope these brands keep the Indian market exciting
Looks like you drive a lot and speak about things that actually matter. Finally found a relatable video. Thank you for this! Keep up the good work.
I narrowly escaped the lure of VIRTUS...and went for extremely reliable CITY 5G. Though I dislike the design of CITY and love VIRTUS in every way.
Bhau, you are absolutely right. I am using Vento since 10 years with 1.7L run. Feel extremely safe when I am on steering. Even during corners I can pull 120km without hesitation. Even if big trucks go by, the car doens't care. Many times 2 wheelers have banged from back but the number didn't care much though bikes got broken😂. No comparison with Germans
bro very nice video with real facts…. after launching slavia of its road presence honda, hyundai, maruti they are feeling in sankatt ..most of the video about vw n skoda on youtube are fake they dont talk about safety n real facts.. one more thing german cars never get rust on body superior paint quality…❤
VW’s biggest weakness in the Indian market is it’s biggest strength: i.e. the powerful German engine. A powerful engine will need more fuel, something that the average car buyer in India does not like to pay for. Indians want everything-German engines, high mileage and a sunroof so that they can stand in their cars. So everyone compromises and tries to get the best of everything and end up with a khichri car. That never works when you are buying a car. You should be very clear what you want and that’s why I like the conclusion of this video. Hope this educates young aspiring car buyers.
Bhut bhut mubarkha to u sir as an owner of skoda slavia today its officially announced that vag twins slavia n virtus scored as expected full 5 stars in adult n child safety aspect .🎉
🥳
Keeping aside the features, on terms of comfort, ride what car is better the new innova hycross or the city , also i have never owned a sedan before only SUVs so does it scrape it's underbelly that often as people say , basically is the ground clearance on the city going to be a problem ? , Thankyou
The ground clereance issue is overhyped by some viewers and some reviewers.infact when you will drive a sedan you will forget SUV that kind of handling sedan posses. you just need to be just a little bit more careful in bad roads and potholes if your driving is limited to majorly city and highway then there is no point in buying sedan even people go to laddakh by Honda city
Sorry I mean if your driving is majorly limited to city and highway then sedan is for you as comfort is concerned sedan has more comfort than any SUV cause it has low gc so the makers can use soft suspension.take a test drive of both sedan and SUV of same segment before buying and imagine where you will drive those cars.i never owned an SUV but when I drove an SUV for first time I was like what the hell I was driving.

A good, unbiased analysis 👌. Skoda/VW are great vehicles no doubt (built tough+fun to drive). But yes, in terms of reliability there is definitely room for improvement. If Skoda/VW can work on increasing the dealer + service touch points across India at a faster pace, even reliability aspect will get sorted to a great extent. If that's achieved, then Maruti/Hyundai will definitely have tougher competition.
Maine to 2013 Skoda superb Amt petrol elegance leli apki videos dekh k 😂
And I’m loving it ❤
👑❤️
Slavia is more towards comfort compared to virtus, which is actually towards sport.
What I personally think ki slavia ambition should get projector headlights like that in style bcz they r giving it in kushak at around same price range and should get back 10 inch screen..
And get sunroof in slavia ambition would definitely make it a good vfm buy...
Would you suggest ceramic coating for slavia from their service centre costing approx 35k ?
Bhai jisko jo gaadi achi lagey wahi buy karo because at the end of the day you will be happy with what you like 👍. In my case I liked virtus and bought it. Before I had a polo 1.2 tdi for 10 years and my experience with the car was very good and also with VW, so I bought virtus 1.0 topline AT because of the looks, performance, quality , my experience with VW for the past 10 years ( although my polo didn't require much maintenance 🤞😄). I can surely say that my Virtus won't disappoint in the long run as well.
This is my opinion and I don't buy cars based on value for money, features, youtubers reviews , resale , people's advice , etc.
I like what I like and I'm happy with my choice.
Safety + 1.5 DSG + Slavia + SMP mandatory = Verna & city killer combo!
Anyday the confidence and stability vw offers is simply unmatched and timeless interior never made me think of selling my car. I love it every time I drive although it doesn't offer great fuel efficiency but once the way is clear and you are set for a long drive. Then no worries it can go up to 20 KMPL and in my case I achieved the mileage figure of 21 KMPL.
Existing norms just force the buyer to pay heavy taxes and buy the car, and I never thought of these cars to be scrapped they are rock solid and deserve much appreciation being on the road.
Simplest way to differentiate between this segment. Good work Bhaji 👍
Sir ji ..how is slavia anniversary edition ? Heard skoda also planning soon to introduce ADAS in slavia?shall i wait for it..
Very important issues handle by you. It's really serious matter of understanding of safety car and quality. Maintenance and quality with adas 3 features must matters ❤❤❤❤❤. Very nice informative video.
Virtus 1 ltr or Salvia 1ltr manual which is better? I have to drive car mostly in city.
Both are same cars with different badge. Virtus has sporty stiffer suspension with lighter steering.
@sunderdeepsingh 1 ltr engine is enough for city or I should go for 1.5 ltr?
can you pls tell are parts of volkswagon group are available in outside market , ?? like hyundai and maruti
I think the DSGs paired with 1.5 TSI and 1.2 TSI is extremely reliable even without wet clutch because I have seen many drag races on Pratham Shokeen and Daksh Ahlawat's Channel and they have launched their Virtus with DSG so many times from Neutral To Drive which a normal consumer would not even know or do with his/her car and still their DSGs never caused them trouble even though they keep pushing the car to it's limits almost everyday....
Today , Daksh Ahlawat's Car has crossed 30k Kilometres on ODO and Pratham's Car has clocked around 21k kilometres as of writing this comment....
Good observation.
The way Pratham Sholeen and Daksh Ahlawat is launching their DSG and doing stress test, I think if their gearbox survives 5 years, VW should not have any issue giving 10years warranty to this DSG DQ200. In short every one with VAG 2.0 DSG should not bother about reliability of the Gearbox.
Impact of manish ji is clearly visible in you🙌🙌
1+1 = 11
Sir i have kushaq,i want to know which 40 safty features in mid vareints.kindly tell me.i used mid (ambition) varients.
Awesome knowledge and so it's narration step by step....
Please cover these three things which may be in issue, in comparison to City and Verna.
1 AC performance
2 NVH of 3 cylinder 1.0 lit engine
3. Fuel efficiency of 1.0 TC vs City CVT. TCs are known for less efficiency.
Thanks
Bro day after tomorrow i have delivery of kushaq and even bfore that i would say i am proud owner of that just only because of its built quality and only ur review 👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻

Sundardeep bhai I am planning to buy Slavia. Can you please advise me which engine option should I prefer 1.0 or 1.5. I want it in Manual transmission.
Slavia 1.0 is got enough torque
Why volkswagen and skoda going maruti direction in interior quality, we are ok spending lac more for good premium interiors -- we are buying volkswagen for German feel -- not for Chinese feeling
True bro we have a fabia and when sat in slavia it felt really bad
Virtus GT is what I like but DSG is what is stopping me …! Should I bother really so much about it ?
You are 💯 % right. But Hyundai cars are also good. I owned Hyundai brand since 2009. Presently Hyundai creta. From launching date creta sales above 10000. Why decrease in sales of kushaq and tiagun.
True said sir we are looking after features & with this we land up in compromising safety .
VW & Skoda r the best & safest sedans in India
8:55 yes, i agree the plastics creak but only when you press it forcefully. I haven't experienced creaking while driving in the city or highway at normal speed which has to be highlighted here. The cabin still feels premium in comparison to other cars in the segment.
City's cabin surely is the best. No doubt about it. But from exterior, it is a big NO. My wife staright away rejected the car saying this feels lighter than Polo.
@@SunderdeepSingh yeah. That can be a personal preference. Hope they work on the aesthetics of the cabin as well. 🫶🥹
Few questions, are these creaking sounds in kushaq taigun as well?
2. Post some feedback to VAG by slavia users like you, have u noticed or come across any news of improving plastic quality? Like slowly merging the gap with the old German quality?
3. Why do you think there's creaky noise in plastic? Due to lower grade of plastic? If yes, then wouldn't that fade away after sometime? ( As u said they wont fade away, i am assuming it's based on your past experience with VAG quality over the years)
Taigun has improved, Virtus already is fine. Can’t say this about Kushaq.
even after driving 10000 km(9 months) , it's(virtus highline white) still head turner for me , raat ko 12-1 bje bi gaadi ko dekta hu to alg si feeling aati h(parking area is near my washroom🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣) , 100% right decission by me ,
I was totally ignoring Suzuki for its safety but now after hearing this about Hyundai not going to buy just for a little bit performance and features. Safety should be 1st .
DDS. Drive, dynamics, safety… top notch.
Proud slavia style 1L owner
Paaji the issue of plastic creaking is there in all cars, don't know why it isn't been highlighted by many RUclipsrs... Honda City me window buttons se creaking ka sound aata hai, Creta me center console me, aur Seltos me AC controls me... Verna doesn't have any of these issues because it is made generally of single-piece plastic parts which don't make the 'rattling sound' and where multiple parts have been used, care has been taken to eliminate the sounds.
Companies are now doing very serious cost-cutting to maximize their profits... parts we manufacture for 100 are being sold for 1000 in Hyundai service centers... isse andaaza laga lo...
Verna's interior quality is impeccable, but it surely doesn't have the quality where it matters the most in a family car... I won't call it a luxury coffin yet, but it doesn't stand close to its rivals in terms of safety yet.
Wohi mera point tha batana Bhai. Maine apni car mein bhi kuch chupaya nahi. Jo hai so hai. But main cheez hota hai Platform, Performance, Paint, Dynamics on the high speed, safety features ki quality (size of airbags and ESC real time functionality) and lot more. This is where Skoda VW are unmatched.
@@SunderdeepSingh vaise Verna ke 10.25 ke 2 tablet ke mounting ko hila ke dekhna, bohot creaking sound aaegi, kyunki vo parts humne nahi banaye hain XD
Agreed, creaking is there in all cars. When i test drove venue in past, the door was vibrating with plastic sound due to speakers
yesterday i saw a TOYATA CAMRY approching towards me. what a wide car that was looking in person. i was completly amazed by its looks bumper design overall build . i don't know why people going towards 4×2 fortuner rather than camry where price diff is almost the same .
Absolutely! Camry is pure luxury under 55 lacs
Love camry in pearl white colour
@@SunderdeepSingh yes infact three cars are selling due to bhed chall swift,Creta, fortuner
Way better performance than Fortuner
Slavia rattling noise problem. I visited many time at service center but they not able solved the issue
Escalate it
No doubt, VAG build-paint-ride qualities are matchless. But somehow, their 2.0 strategy has gone on the backfoot. Now they have to pull out a miracle!!!
Singh ji ..why there is no underbody cover for the engine in virtus or slavia ? Pls reply
I always look for safe cars but my only question is whether these 3 companies will continue to work in India 🇮🇳 or may wind up like Chevrolet or ford because of low sales
They won’t because their production plant is running packed now
@@SunderdeepSingh you are absolutely right but our past experience is different with other 2 brands
5 year ago I had to purchase IGNIS AMT because most of the automatic cars were underpowered at that time
Even Nexon was 108 bhp, now with WV twins we have better option
For me safety first
But ignis had better weight to bhp ratio and presently my running is approximately 3000 km/ year

Harrier auto / xuv700 auto / kushaq dsg1.5 auto...which one would you recommend....
Also virtus auto / slavia auto which one?
All 3 are excellent but in rankings, XUV 700 wins
Dear sir, is the AC cooling issue about VAG 2.0 cars true or just overhyped?
If it is true, how bad is it and whether is it acceptable to have a less than satisfactory cooling in cars costing north of 15-20 lacs. I am planning to buy a midsize sedan and interested in Virtus but this issue is bothering me.
Bhai now a days jaise compact suvs ka trend chal rha to sedan ka future kya rahega after some years kuch log bol rhe ki sedans ki market bilkul down jo jayegi no bilkul down ho jayenge to sedan consider kaise kare phir aap hi btao
Checked out the new Verna and when I pressed the rear quarter panel it was flexing, so I don't have much expectations, although can't comment on actual structural rigidity.
Any update on ADAS feature in Skoda/VW cars in India?
Recenty India made VW Virtus launched in brazil with ADAS.
Paaji....Aap bilkul sahi ho apne review me in all respect.
But Indian buyers has more trust & confidence in Honda City for Reliability with Efficiency.
Verna for Quality After-Sales Services & Service Stns Network.
VW-Skoda Cars offers best Build & Safety. But lacks in Service Stn Network. And buyers fears their past history of High Maintenance Charges.
As you are also aware of our Chaotic Indian Traffic, poor driving sense & bad roads. Unwanted Small collision do happen very often damaging front & rear bumpers, headlamp-taillamps.
That's the time you require nearest Service Stn & immediate Spares replacements.
And that where Hyundai & Maruti.... scores over competition.
The above is possible because they have very strong portfolio from entry level affordable small hatch to Sedan alongwith big Sales nos.
And thats what the VW-Skoda & many others are not able match.
Aap sirf 4.3 Mts SUV & Sedan se logo ka trust, Confidence, Safety offer karke 2-3% (5 - 7,000) se jyada Sales nahi improve kar sakte ho.
That's what I feel very strongly as I have Analysed from Car Owners from my friends & Relative groups from B, C - Cities & Rural areas.
Jab tak Service Stn 20-30 kms range me nahi hoga, Indians will refrain from buying the best of the cars though many are capable buying ₹15-20 lac Cars.
Co. keep on concentrating on Metros & A-City Only for big Sales nos. & forgetting others is a big mistake.
very detailed analysis paaji 👏. the point you refer as ''facts'' , that cannot be denied by an individual. one shoud consider a sedan over compact suv and safety should be most prior point in their checklist 🙏

Can someone suggest how to avoid or remove scratches from the interior of car. My new Taigun is attracting scratches in the glossy parts like the steering and the glossy finish near the charging tray.
pajji i'm interested in skoda slavia but unable to decide between 1.0 and 1.5. is 1.0 sufficient for 5 passengers with luggage? so should i go ahead with 1.5?
1.5 MT Ambition
I love Kushal and love Virtus.
Hello Sunderdeepji, I have been reading some threads on GNCAP. Do you think they are biased and back only European cars, as they are funded by European Union? There are mixed reactions on this subject.
I beg to disagree. If this was the thing then no Hyundai cars would ever score a good rating in Euro NCAP but they mostly do. Second, if this was the thing, they must have been exposed by someone now as GNCAP / Euro / ASEAN comes from developed countries where press freedom is top-ranked and investigative journalism exists. Last, VW Polo scored 3 stars in the latest Latin NCAP and have effected the sales as well. Passat has scored poorly in China. There are many examples. Renault fared poorly in many tests too in GNCAP. Polo first scored Zero in GNCAP because of missing airbags. Last, whichever cars are 5 stars in India, we generally notice that their on-road safety record is good too. You won't find them mangled like a piece of paper of getting into pieces.
@@SunderdeepSingh Thanks for clarifying 👍
Virtus 1 ltr or Salvia 1 ltr Manual which is better ?
Old Hyundai cars have scored zero or max 3 stars in the safety so dealer is changing the topic upon asking the rating. Later customer changed the topic upon asking to book the car.
Could you please suggest which is car i prefer between virtus 1 ltr and salavia 1ltr manual ?
My mostly driving will be in the city.
Sir Fortuner bhi toh truck hee lagti hai.. nothing can beat sedans in look good factor.. & elegance
Factual Video. Really glad to see such a content.
Sir, Is it worth upgrading to Slavia 1.5 style from Rapid 1.5 diesel Ambition 2019 model?
Nope Bro
Thanks for the reply
Sir, EPC issue sun rahe hain, 2023 mein bhi aa raha hai. Kya sach hai ye
Nope, it is fixed long time before
superbly explained By You Very good
Thanks Paaji. If only VWSkoda grouphas provided manual hvac controls..
Big and high vehicle's are always safer than smaller or lower cars in highways where there is heavy movement of big trucks, buses and big buses. Small cars are practical inside city so sedans.
verna online aise dekhne m mujhe bhi nahi lagi thi achi, but irl opinion change hogya and purchase bhi karli lol ab itni sundar lagti h jab bhi dekhta hun lol!
Paaji very well made content and shared a lot of insights that have never been observed or shared by any auto journalist. Paaji, I need one small suggestion from you as you have associated with VW groups. Does it make any sense in 2023 to buy Skoda Superb L&K trim it cost me 41.00 lacs on the road with all-inclusive ones, including (Ex-warranty+Service Pack). In the long run, what are the consequences i have to consider before buying it? Also, do you recommend any other options, mostly city commute and once in quarter on highways.
Hi! It surely makes sense with ex warranty & if you are able to digest that car is getting discontinued. It’s a gem of a combination of 2.0 tsi with dq381 and plush interiors. Audi a6 at 60% cost.
@Sunderdeep Singh Thank you so much, Paaji. Anyway, one question on the back of my mind is if A6 has the same engine and matted with the same gear box DQ381, why 30.00 lacs difference also my second question to you if you can stretch little bit on your budget should I consider BMW 330i sportz over superb which cost me more 14.00 lacs and also on the cost of ownership point of view is it recommended please please suggest. Thanks
Great analysis 👍🏽 . Also , I just wanted to ask if 1.5 mt is coming in virtus? I just saw a youtuber say that it will be coming , just want to confirm it
Yes, it is coming soon as per the sources
very neutral and better than those who post lopsided reviews in favour of certain car brands.
There is a difference b/w paid RUclipsr and a self made businessman that put videos on RUclips for passion & building like-minded audience.
@@SunderdeepSingh are u talking about "a diesel is a diesel is a diesel" guy??😂
German are great when it comes to driving dynamics and performance with unquestionable build quality....but if Hyundai Verna scored 5 star then fear factor arises for the German siblings
Paaji is it advisable to take extended warranty for manual slavia - my usage is mediocre 10k kms per year
Yes, it is always good to be covered
GOOD AFTERNOON SIR
WHY VW GIVE PLASTIC LINK ROD ? . BECAUSE METAL IS STRONG AND PLASTIC CAN BREAK IN HEAVY POTHOLE.
PLEASE TELL
Which link rod?
@@SunderdeepSingh model virtus
Front Stabiliser bar connect with link rod
Paaji hearing about DSG failures in Taigun these days . Booked Virtus 1.5 Dsg but canceled and got 1.0 Topline due to DSG insecurity and fear .
Bro, you are listening to just one side of the story where we don’t know full truth. Drag racers have successfully completed 30,000 without any fuss, it is covered under warranty too, I don’t know what the fear is all about.
Smart decision
Great effort and work as always. Sunderdeep ji do you think Skoda/VW offering Adas or midlife facelift for their hatchback twins soon, as competition is increasing....
Yes definitely, they need it to survive
Bro great review.. but if I am not wrong new gonda city has also scored 5star in gncap.. correct me if I am wrong..
Wrong Bhai. 4th gen City scored 4 stars in GNCAP with unstable bodyshell.
City scored 5 in ASEAN ncap which is not valid for India but Thai countries only
