Hello Sir, I am a 33-year-old software professional, and I recently learned how to drive. I’m planning to buy my first car in the next few months. I’m quite impressed with Skoda cars, particularly the Kushaq and the upcoming Kylaq, as look and feel along with safety matter. but I’m still undecided. My usage will be minimal since I work from home, and I’ll likely only drive on city roads during the weekends. And occasionally, I’ll be driving on the highway as well. I would appreciate your advice on which car would be the best choice based on my needs. My budget is 10 to 14 lacks.
@SunderdeepSingh g. Finally a youtuber who is making sensible videos. Paaji i want you to talk on some more things which I've not seen any youtuber talking about i.e., weight of the car vs mileage, manual vs AMT vs automatic mileage, weight of the car vs engine power load, use of tilt or telescopic steering and which is really needed for Indian customers/drivers. Because I've seen many Indian brothers and sisters complain about certain car mileage, engine power and missing telescopic steering feature etc, despite everything else they got, without understanding what's possible in physics and engineering. I'm also seeing more and more videos where good cars are called underpowered, just because there are more powerful options available. But is that much power really required? In India how fast can we go? What engine power can achieve that speed? In my opinion a 1-1.2 engine is more than sufficient for Indian conditions where maximum speed is 100. I mean today Indians have become too greedy, which i think will make good global car companies leave India. I've seen RUclips reviewers and customers saying that car is not giving mileage, it has less power etc., as negatives about a car, where the car is fully loaded with more steel, full safety kit, fancy interior and gadgets. We are not in America, our speed limits are not same, our roads are not same. We need to educate people to change their buying habits if we want better cars at lower price. Otherwise govt will see the trend and keep increasing taxes and get rich while car owners keep getting poor and cars will become a rich man's thing again. I think it's high time India understands that everything in a car contributes to it's weight and weight= less performance from same engine in a lighter car. And weight= less mileage than similar featured lighter car. And more speed= possible death (even if it's 5-star) and low mileage.

Hi Sunder ji, is it worth to wait for Skoda kqlaq for buying first car in 10-12 lakh range? Build and safety is priority along with reliability for long term. Considering VAG, Honda, Toyota, Tata, Mahindra brands. Your suggestion is valuable 🙏🏻
Paaji, Awesome video as always . Paaji can you do a brief/long video on upcoming Skoda Kylaq, it's placing in the market, variant distribution, on road pricing, delivery waiting period etc etc. Also will Skoda give benefit of taxation to AT buyers by bringing an AT under 10lakhs(ex show) like Mahindra is offering with XUV 3xo MX2 Pro AT for 9.99l ex-show? I find it hard for Skoda to place an AT under 10lakhs ex-how because of the premiumness of the brand, what are your thoughts on this ?
@@SunderdeepSingh Thank you Paaji, Also would be interesting to hear from Skoda's perspective, VAG group's expectation with this launch and their expectations from the Indian consumers..it's gonna be their make or break product. Hi! Slavia 1.0 AT & 1.5 AT are more fun to drive, better steering precision and better as an AT too, better proven safety, insulation, cornering & overall build with better practicality.
Elevate scores on better interior quality, seats quality, availability of ADAS, reliability & refinement and better AC.
@@SunderdeepSinghThank you ❤
Thanks @sunderdeep sir 🙏🏻
I can back my AT 1L TC Kushaq. I know it's weakness and acceptable to me with my priorities.
Kushaq 1.0 AT is a great car tbh
One of the best videos I have come across 👌
Very nice video, useful for first time buyers..
Paji....loved your video....as you mentioned must and practical features i also need the same along with adas and 360 .which car will you recommend with above features in 10l budget? Brand pref- honda, maruti, hyundai amd automatic...You suggestion will help a lot...

Upgrading my 2016 VW Ameo 1.5 Tdi to a smaller petrol automatic car since it had already passed 8 yrs. budget is 8L. What is your opinion about taking a Toyota glanza G AMT variant? In this price point which car will you recommend considering safety and reliability?
Hi really like ur video. Genuine content. thankyou for making it.
Hello Sir.. you have given nice and clear answers of all questions related about Car knowledge. Sir i have one question please reply of this question.. i live out side of india and once a year I come to india for 2/3month and i wanna buy car but my question is that if i will buy car and i will drive my car just for a months and then i will park my car for a long time like one and half year so there will be any problem related to engine ?
Budget 30 lakhs
Looking for a sedan with decent ground clearance for mostly tier 2 city usage.
Will be my first car
Not a regular and heavy driver
Family’s safety, comfort, reliability and tension free maintenance are uncompromisable.
Don’t care about resale value as I’m planning to use it till it’s end of life
Automatic variant preferably
Fine with even exploring second hand market..
Suggestions please
Virtus GT , best in mileage, looks , speed , comfort
Hi Sunder ji, is it worth to wait for Skoda kqlaq for buying first car in 10-12 lakh range? Build and safety is priority along with reliability for long term. Considering VAG, Honda, Toyota, Tata, Mahindra brands. Your suggestion is valuable 🙏🏻
Same here
Magnite facelift launching on oct 4, please check out that too
Super informative video. Thank you so much for this info.
Sure, I will collect some analysis & do
@@SunderdeepSingh Thank you Paaji, Also would be interesting to hear from Skoda's perspective, VAG group's expectation with this launch and their expectations from the Indian consumers..it's gonna be their make or break product. Also wondering just like 3xo sticking to yellow as their top variant differentiator, if green's gonna be their signature color for Kylaq as all the teasers and pictures they have used green color till now
Paaji...thoda aur lamba video banate to movie ban jaati Sir 😂 . Do keep creating such awesome content 👏
Arre 🤣🤣
@@SunderdeepSingh Rest be assured Pura video dekha...very detailed and covers a lot from major factors to basics...After completing the video realized how many important aspects we miss and ignore due to lack of awareness.
@sunderdeep ji -Thanks for detail explanation and i am sure that because of you and Munish ji effort atleast people thinking about safety and performance after seeing your videos and because of you people still selling VW and Skoda in India or else everyone will promote features, mileage bla bla.
Thanks for you efforts on real performance vehicle.
Very good video Sunderdeep ji

Your efforts are worth gold. May God bless you and give you more success. Keep up the good work.
Sir please get Munish Sir discussing on Tata's newly introduced Kryojet Diesel Engine. Want a comprehensive video ....
❤❤ very nice bro
Go for Volkswagen/Skoda cars for driving dynamics and safety
Honda better
Service centre is terrible

एक दम सही पाजी 🙏🙏
If you decide car for resale value...you dint actually, dont need or dont value the car enough.
True
Best comment, absolutely agree with you. You buy car, so that someone can buy in future
Nice video paaji
1) Hyundai is global brand, offers so many engine options but why no hybrid engines?
2) DCT gearbox wali cars also have the brake/ acceleration pedals a bit raised as compared to others? Why is that?
Not able to reverse engineer it properly yet
Sir, I really appreciate you & your knowledge. Twitter se sbse pehle jaana aapko. Aur me connect hua aapse for the love of VW & Skoda but that's for the later part. Apse puchne me bhi darr lagta hai but agar first car ka budget 5-6 max 6.5 lacs ho, city drive, 25-30km one side 3 times a week, choti car, for a small family, priority is "does the job" & thoda suspension theek ho, AC, manouvering, some music during commute, low maintenance, max drive speed 80-90, don't need stuff like screen & back camera. aise me konsi car theek hai? ALTO K10 VXI?
Hi Mohit ji, S-Presso is slightly better car in the practicality and you might get Ignis on discount too. i10 grand could be considered too. People got it for discounts at 6.50 lakh on road, it has 6 airbags.
@@SunderdeepSingh Many Thanks Sunderdeep ji. Much appreciate your hollistic and prompt response. Thank you. This will help broaden the perspective.
Sunderdeep sir Tata After sales service and parts availability ki kya experience hai??
Your information is reliable, thanks
Video is long but worth it ❤
Kudos to your information.. fantastic video
Mai Apna first car lene wala hu kya Skoda slavia base model lena Shi rahega ??
This is such an informative video that i have shared it in many groups and friends. All major concepts and areas are covered thoroughly with all minute information. We need people you, @GaganChoudhary sir, @autoyogi Vikas sir for real genuine knowledge about the automotive industry. Maza aagya ✅ and felt so relatable with your knowledge that all these aspects are really need to be consider while purchasing a car. Can't regret 2-3yrs down the line ki us waqt le skta yaaarrr.. 😅
Thank you brother for all the info!💗
keep driving friends and family's cars taki experience milta rahe, mere pass innova crysta 2.4 diesel hai, its a rear wheel drive, shorter turning radius & flight like take off experience, ye test drive vehicle me experience nahi kar sakte, plus short drives and back to back test drives me sometimes better judge nahi kar pate.
Verre Volkswagen di car buy krni chaydii aa punjab che bathinda side mostly highway lyi?
Definitely Yes ji
@SunderdeepSingh edi service centre parts wgra da koi issue, stuck on road koi ave de issues te video hai, kyuki eh ik over engineered car hai
hello Sunderdeep ji, i am planning to buy a virtus gt mt
my main concerns are discontinuation of mt by skoda, will it be followed by volkswagen if yes then availability of parts and service problems,
second many problems in virtus like rattling issues, brake noise, phone disconnect, egr light etc,
third is perception of high maintainence cost of german cars
and last heavy clutch of mt
My mileage will be around 600 km per month mostly on highways
thanks in advance
Pajji, NA engine turbo engine se jada fuel efficient hai. Mujhe performance par jada issue nahi hai to kya mai NA engine le sakta ho?
Thanks for this video
Hello sir, my budget is 7 to 7.50..i am confused between i10 neos and swift vxi..pls advise whic car i can consider in this budget
Thank you paaji 🙏🙏🙏
paaji taigun gt line 1.0 ya alcazar 2024 base model kya kehte ho aap?
i am leaning towards taigun but alcazar base model is a very sweet deal at almost the same price point
very nicely explained sunder bhai
What about Renault Triber, is practical as seating option is more, and if one is using for city purpose?
Very well explained 🎉
Also pls give some review about Alcazar existing version ( before 2024 facelift)
As a first time car buyer can I go for VW or Skoda ?
If yes then which one shoul I preffer ?
Both are same inside, go with what you feel like while holding the steering and service center reliability in your area. Overall, they offer similar experience. VW being on sportier side and Skoda on the premium feel.
Bhai jii mai apni phli car lene wala hai mostly village area me chalani hai monthly running 1k se jyada nhi
Mera plan tata punch accomplish 8lakh 30 k ex show room ya phir skoda kylaq lu please suggest??
Very good choice but you should check Nexon too because of the 6 airbags as standard factor.
Appreciate your efforts and knowledge and research. Value for time to watch this video thanks.❤
