Hey everyone! Just wanted to clarify that in this video, we technically are showing you a 2024 model year and the pricing at the end reflects that. We talk about the changes for the 2025 GX in the video, but we’ll be sure to do an updated review whenever we finally get a hold of one to show you the extra ground clearance that Lexus gave the Overtrail models for 2025.

Exterior looks good. The materials used on the interior of the new GX are on par with a $50K 5th gen 4 Runner Ltd. For a $90K out the door Lexus, I want to see more wood, carbon fiber, aluminum, more leather/padded surfaces, etc. What I am seeing is unacceptable. Way too much plastic.

I'm seeing a lot of these around my city. Big plus to Lexus for giving this massaging seats. The beige with the olive green is an awesome color combo on the seats...but the previous models interior was prettier. Even the LX570's interior looked much better than the current gen LX. The interior is low quality for the $$, although it seems to be very functional with primarily matte textures. Could use at least some improvement. Wonder if getting rid of the gear lever would make it even better in terms of storage space? I like the buttons and knobs. The driver display could be improved (a lot), but this is true for all Lexus vehicles. The engine I actually like... yes, it's twin-turbo, but it's not boosted much at all. Should be fairly reliable. Is it possible to get better fuel economy without going hybrid (which would ruin the cargo space)? My conclusion is: this seems like a vehicle that the new Land Rover (in NA) was supposed to be.

I’d like to see a plug in hybrid with the same system the tx 550. I think you might not be able to fit the battery and all of the 4wd parts though. I have a rav4 prime and it’s great but has a motor in the rear for AWD which I’m guessing is inferior to a mechanical connection. I would guess that the vast majority of these $80000 luxury suvs never really go off-roading so an option that is powerful and efficient would probably be popular. That would still do just fine making the trip to Costco and the cargo in this is impressive.
