I’ve ridden motorbikes for 50 years, my current bike is a Suzuki GSXR1000 and that brake test highlights a massive gap between cars and bikes, however, that gap can be easily shortened when you consider most if not all all motorcyclist ride with 100% attention on what’s happening in front and around them whereas many car drivers relax in to their cars like they’re sat at on a sofa at home paying little attention to what’s going on.
And when you think these are Two HYPER cars. If these were your average sports cars, it would be a lot closer. And nobody should be braking from 100mph on the rd anyway. I have seen bikes brake a lot closer than this before on here. I would not fancy going full anchors at 100mph on a bike in damp conditions in 3 degrees.

Yes, obviously, a vehicle with 4 wheels and disks would stop better, but it would be a lot closer. these Hyper cars fitted with the best of the best. Brakes on these types of bikes for the track is more than enough as you also use engine braking. If you're having to go full anchors at 100mph on the Rd in anything, then it will only be a matter of time before the inevitable happens. Bikes at sensible speeds with ABS can stop in plenty of time for almost all sudden situations. This is just a very extreme unrealistic test. Take care!
@MrCooper83 I lusted after those Fireblades.
@@flibbertigibbet6200and this is the toptop supersport bike. So kinda fair. And a reasonably light car, with even factory brakes and with good tyres outbrakes almost any bike.
And still, it's mostly for their driving behavior that motorcyclists are referred to as "organ donors" in hospitals.
@TtT43TtT this is not a top of the line sports bike, This is not even the R1M it is an R1 with a dress on, so it doesn't have the top suspension etc. The latest Ducat Panigale V4 costing nearly 30k would be a better match. And GP bikes on here have done really well up against F1 cars etc albeit old ones. Also check this video, where the bike won by a lot in the brake test. ruclips.net/video/mm9Q0ery82o/видео.htmlsi=nqtSDCDrOP8qbYYg.

Not gonna lie, that Ferrari in all black looks kinda sick, i wasnt really going crazy about it, but in black this car is a pretty good looking car
Right, still tho the Ferrari natural V12 is ideal. =Why even need electric motors, turbo on it when that simple great sounding V12 gives all u want :)
I think Ferraris look a lot better in black, but I'm biased, because black is my favorite color
@@bekeneelThat's why they sell the 12Cilindri and the Purosangue.

Hats off to Chris who made it look so easy to launch a bike and to match the launch of a super car, dude you need to be highly skilled and courageous to do that. The cars don't need that level of skill but much love and respect to Chris for making this video so awesome. ❤❤❤
in rolling race there a boost mode for the porsche to give you the full horsepower i think it would be much closer if mate did activate it
Thats strange...it needs be always on.
Exactly he didn’t even use it
@@joe125fulI think the battery and possibly the motors would overheat if it was. That's why it's only a boost mode.
For some time only like f1
Yeah it might have made it closer.. but the bike still humiliated everything on the rolls
It's really cool to witness this transition between combustion, hybrid and electric cars. Each one has its fans, but they all have their strengths!
How do you call an electric car a turbo, what's turbo charged, the A/C?
"the experience" - Porsche probably
Finally, feels like it's been a decade since we got a good race, a lot better with the bikes involved, and as always fun with Chris.
Doing drag races in the damp & cold on a super bike is nuts. He wins just because of how big his balls are.
Was boost mode used on the taycan for the rolling race? Otherwise it only had 780hp instead of the 1000
Most likely they wanted the ev to lose no surprise from typical carwow
Doesn’t look like Matt pulled the paddle to give the extra power in the roll races
REALLY enjoyed that! More Chris please 🙂

😂 R1 is nuts. Just think how fast that SF90 is over that distance its wild fast and the bike gapped it in the damp hahaha ridiculous fast. People tune R1s soon as they get them too so yeah.. Dont mess with an R1 for sure
Hey mat, would it be possible to add the speeds at which the cars/bikes finish the races. That would be really cool 👍
Merry Christmas and happy new year!
M5 cs vs R8 GT? 😢 start commenting this from now one we need it
Who you talking to dude ?
I wonder if Mat remembered to press the boost button in the rolling races
The fact alone that you have to press a button in the Porsche and also in the Audi GT shows how far behind the germans are. They cant deliver the power constantly.

Because at some point track cars become so expensive you're afraid to push them, therefore taking them to the track would be pointless.
Better to stick a roll cage on an MX-5 and rag it.

Bike's might not be able to stop as quickly as car's but any decent rider is more aware of road conditions than 99% of car user's
Yeah because car is way more safe/stable...in bike one mistake and you are dead:)
Something was weird witj the bike braking, there should be such a big difference
True, but they don’t seem to be aware of safety regulations in dry conditions. You just don’t see bikes in wet usually. However, when it’s dry and warm it’s an invasion. Particularly on narrow twisty roads, they overtake you like they don’t care about life
If bikers were truly aware of road conditions, they'd be in a car.
Probably, because most motorbike drivers won't live to do the same mistake twice.
You are by far the best drag race channel on the internet today!
Bikes are the best. So much speed for 20k, also more fun then any car.

The r1 definitely sounds better than the Ferrari. It probably has the factory exhaust. It needs a proper exhaust. Also the fact that the r1 is like one of the slowest out of the modern day litre bikes and still managed to beat an sf90 in a roll is crazy.
The difference between the top 1000cc bikes is minimal. They are all fighting traction and wheelies. Somebody needs to make a slammed 300hp electric bike for under 30k.
@@will2461-j2nthey need to make a road legal Superbike that has a launch switch when pressed will lower the bike and extend the wheelbase to avoid wheelie!
@willspeakman2461 they are about the same in a 1/4 mile, but I was talking about rolling racing. If you've seen 650ib's smackdowns, the r1 literally gets dropped by the s1000rr and v4. I was just saying despite it being a fair bit slower the r1 managed to beat the sf90 which just goes to show how insane the faster litre bikes are. Also yes I'd love to a 300hp electric bike, but it will be a while away as battery tech right now isn't advanced enough
@sidthiru1509 all this let's me know is that the SF90 is an extremely capable if it can out dig some super bikes
@@zachdebuhr6347 bro any awd supercar can out dig superbikes. Bikes aren't 0-60 kings. They are meant for the rolls which is why even the quickest accelerating production Ferrari(outside of the f80) got beat by one of the slower superbikes. If this had been an s1000rr, v4s, v4 1100 or h2 the gap would've been much greater.
