Hey I live near Goshen. No idea you were in the area. I work on trucks for a living and seeing older equipment still being used for its intended purpose is something I really like to see. Better than the emission garbage the government has forced on the industry.

Another thing you gotta be careful of is low bridges. In new york on alot of those back roads youll come around a bend and theyll be a 9 foot bridge out of nowhere. The railroad bridges tend to be pretty low as well. Ive been trucking in ny and the tri state area for the last 35 years. I live down on long island but we run upstate quite frequently to the quarries for bluestone as well as large boulders for seawalls and jetties down here on long island for alot of the erosion control jobs that we do. Be safe out there my brother

Not doing EXACTLY as you are directed can get someone hurt. Example, tell him to stop while connecting the trailer. If he puts it in Park, and releases the brake, you can get your fingers pinched badly. This is why when I taught my sons similar things I tell them every step. No extras.

Hello Steve. Welcome to your followers and this video which shows the type of roads we Brits travel on all the time. I used to drive a 12 metre coach (40 ft tour bus) on roads even narrower than these. it gets hillarious when meeting a car that has to back up to a passing place. As you will already know most car/pick up drivers can't reverse for toffee. Still, we make it to our destination eventually. Keep up with these enjoyable! videos.
    Best wishes from Lancashire, UK.

Dang those are small tight ass roads to drive a semi through. We have been down those kinda roads all the time. One road was so narrower like the one your on. But the turns was like oh bleep when people were slamming on there brakes and nearly avoided to go off the road. Jesse nailed 3 trash cans so bad he sent them flying back to the person's yard. We stopped in the shoulder has best we could get on the side. And we got out and the elderly lady was like I just finished raking up all the leaves. Lucky she had them in bags. We set the trash cans beside the road. They was those big plastic ones and Jesse managed to pop them out where they caved in from him hitting them. We got a sheriff's deputy to be the escort driver and we was like thank God delivering the product's in the trailer. We managed to go the other way around. The boss of the company we delivered to us a licensed escort driver. If u was there at MAT'S on Saturday around noonish we would be there. We are going to be arriving possibly late Friday evening or Friday night. I am always have my eyes for low power lines and pedestrians walking or riding bicycles. Allot of them are smart if they hear anything that sounds like a loud engine j brake they know a big semi is approaching around the curve. Jesse will blast the train horns and people are on the shoulder pretty good. Hey we had to load or unload generators the same way. If the companies we are either hauling or delivering to don't have a forklifts.

Wayne (Ol'2Stroker) lives somewhere in Albany in upstate New York;the last video that he uploaded to RUclips was Friday, and he had bought a 1980 Ford L9000 daycab conventional, and plans on either using it as a parts truck,or looking to invest some money into it to make it road worthy again and take it to all of the regional truck shows, such as the ATHS truck show down in York,Pennsylvania.
The truck has a 235hp small cam Cummins,a 13 speed transmission, the instrument panel, interior door panels, and air tanks underneath the cab are in good decent shape, the left side of the hood needs to be replaced/repaired,and the rear cab panel & door hinges needs to be replaced.
He tried to get the rear brake drums unstuck;but was unsuccessful,so basically the rear chassis along with chassis cutoff that came with the truck as a bonus of the sale was junk, and is not worth fixing so he will most likely just buy an air ride cutoff and graft it onto the Ford frame.

People do not know the common traffic laws. I see people who have the right-of-way stop and give hand signals to someone who is making a turn across traffic or sitting at a stop sign waiting to enter the roadway. It's great to see kind and courteous people, but some people take it too far, which can create a danger to other drivers.
