I didn't hear it due to loud music. From that night, I never cared to listen to music again. I like to hear what's happening around me.

When I was unloading trucks I did my best to get the trailer unloaded within 30-45 minutes or so, I always unpacked the pallets after the driver left. Our company was cheap and only had manual pallet jacks, but I didn't want to hold the driver up. I have no idea how someone can take 2 hours to unload a truck.

Was the mic on level 3 or 4 this time? Imo it has been less good today. There was more background noise.
In total it was a bit noisy today. Like the sound nearly clipped at some points...
It was on level 3. I didn't cancel the background noise. I'm still playing around with the mic. The previous video was recorded on level 2, but I had to raise the volume slightly while editing because it was a little too low. So, I tried it on level 3 this time around. I know for sure, level 4 or 5 would be too loud with the truck in the background. Maybe I'll see what it sounds like with the background noise canceled in the next video. Thanks for the feedback. Constructive criticism is always welcomed.

In my honest opinion u have to go in this industry with a leg up on everything learn the outs and ins of it. Most of the white truckers I don't watch because they always have negative feedback on pretty much anything as a trucker. I'm very optimistic and witty when it comes to things eager to learn like a 2 year old toddler this guy is one of my favorite RUclipsrs hands down very honest humble family man who I admire 🙏🏾💪🏾💯

Idk if you have already but can you make a video on how you shift a manual without using the clutch? I want to buy a W900 within the next year but I don't want to retake a CDL course just to refresh my memory on what to do

RUclips is great, but it can't teach what you need to get an actual feel for.
No offense but what's a full video going to teach you if you haven't picked up the nuances already?
Start out with using the clutch and try your way through floating the higher gears (where drivetrain load isn't as high) to find what the truck likes and doesn't like. A video can't show what you need to get a feel for, you can't just full throttle, yank it out and jam it in the next gear, as that'll shock the drivetrain and crack the transmission casing (no joke) #1 symptom is the cab rocking.
Again, in videos you just see them row through the gears and it can't be shown, Marv is no exception, some people are so good at it that there's nothing to be learned.
It has to be tried and experienced.

There's a clutch. Transmission is non-synchronized, so there's no need to use the clutch.

Bro. Marv question - I’m sure all truckers know their vehicles systems and how they’re supposed to run - especially if they start malfunctioning, but are you and/or most truck drivers also mechanics? It sounds like you are. I just asked because there are so many systems on a truck that can breakdown at any time I was just wondering. Stay safe on the roads! 🙏🏽
I'm not a mechanic, but I do know how to work on my own equipment. It's something I kinda learned along the way. It comes with the territory.

Not all the time. It depends on my mood. The weight I'm hauling does play a role also.
