The video guy apparently had too much coffee that morning ;-P I love the Bad Cop, No Doughnut sticker on his helmet. Awesome rider with a good sense of humor. Thanks for sharing it!!!
its not a recommendable training for beginers, but a good demonstration for them that they have to let down their upper body power to bank the body of the motorcycle. he has really a high level skill.
The throttle is at normal rpm. It’s all in the clutch. Steady clutch release into and out of the friction zone. Using momentum to help with the apex of the turn but it’s all in the steady clutch control
It sure looks like it. His left hand is on the clutch, his right hand is at his side, no throttle. I don't think he's using the rear break either. Also notice his head, it's pointing/looking where he wants to go. In those circles he's looking over his shoulder. A whole lot of practice.✌🏽
RLAP -Tons of videos on YT. Jerry Palladio, the Motorman. He has courses offered in almost every state. Three of us rode our bikes out to PA and took the course. We practiced beforehand, and made it through the course. Learn the skills, and then begin the process of building on those skills , every time you take the bike out. Great skills to know, but you gotta practice. Use it, or lose it.
First thing I noticed was the throttle is not working safely. You should never be able to open the throttle and have a maintained speed, it is a safety feature for it to close the throttle. My bike closes the throttle and if it goes down it shuts the motor off. One other thing... where is my city's motorcycle practice lot for this kind of practicing?
@Al Some people can't believe what can be done in the friction zone. They conclude that it's a modified bike or special effect camera work. All it is, is a lot of practice.✌🏽
It's not the bike, it's the rider. And these guys are embarrassingly well-skilled!
Hold my beer watch, nevermind I'll hold my beer, just watch this.
I’ll hold everybody’s beer, getting it back might be a problem though
Outstanding motorman! Extremely motivating to watch someone so at home with his machine. Go Blue. Stay safe and well.
Very impressive control! Everybody should aspire to ride this well, but with both hands, please. . .
Damn we take image stabilization for granted nowadays lol.

Holy crap…this guy is amazing.
The newer HD's don't have the friction style cruise control, so enjoy it while you can.
Eat your hearts out Ponch and John!
He handles that Hog like it's a moped Lol 👍👍
@xxxmicamicaxxx those old fashioned harleys are some of the best handling bikes at low speed
What??? Low speed maneuvers... only 2% of riders are proficient at this... but only cause they’ve never been trained and never practice it ...
Incredible!
Bad ass, showing off w the one handed Bizz….it ain’t easy
Nice riding!
Are you dragging the rear brake in the patterns? At CHP motor school that is prohibited.
Epic Skills!
Awesome. Ride safe Be safe.
Amazing
Remind me never to get in a motorcycle chase in a maze
Smooth like it was a part of you
“You can’t fuck wit the po-lice”
Are the idles turned up on these bikes to allow the clutch to be used without throttle? Or is mine set too low?
Yeah they seam to be higher than idle. No way would my 883 do this at idle speed.
Throttle lock...aka cruise control set to 8mph
@Al My throttle lock only releases if I hit the front brake

@davidtheatheist .... I think around 2500-3000 rpm
I know Harley engines have lots of torque. Is this Harley just idling, or do they hold the idle up with the cruise control while doing the maneuvers?
On Friction
Zone
was there a little trampoline somewhere that the cameraman was on?
You know the thing with those big Harleys is they just aren’t manoeuvrable 😂
WOW!!!😳👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Good stuff
He's doing that purely with clutch friction?
It sure looks like it. His left hand is on the clutch, his right hand is at his side, no throttle. I don't think he's using the rear break either. Also notice his head, it's pointing/looking where he wants to go. In those circles he's looking over his shoulder. A whole lot of practice.✌🏽
Nice
Pro!!!!!!!
Plot twist
He only knows how to steer on left
😎 👍
Oh how little I know😞
Very humbling. ✌🏽
super nice bike..powerfull
Okay, now go right…
Where can I, a civilian rider, get training like this?

Do they have something that holds the accelerator?
Believe it or not, It's all friction zone...incredible.✌🏽
@@marsoelflaco5722 would believe it haha. Theyre big engines afterall.
Has to be using a throttle lock no Harley idles that high
i love big bikes especially goldwings, but this raider make me feel that experience will not be confortable...
What ever happened to ATGATT?
It’s a parking lot and no traffic to worry about.
They make it look easy, but it’s not!
A whole lot of practice and humbling experiences, but it pays off.✌🏽
throttle is on the right side. how is he riding with left hand
?
If the engine has enough torque at lows revs, it's possible to ride the bike with the engine idling.
throttle lock set just above idle, like 1500 rpm
dont ehy have the throttle on the other side so it still possible to use a gun?
supraking85 no they are just like regular bikes...throttle on the right. Harleys have cruise control
Imagine how good he could ride if he was given a half decent motorcycle.

useless and old fashioned works for me!
Nice riding!! Horrible camera work!
Good driving - the drivers are good. But they're stuck on useless old fashioned Harley's.
Completely Useless
Please explain why you think it is useless.
