My dad used to make amazing, detailed model cars like this. He died 12 years ago and this video brought me comfort. Seeing the parts, tools and work made me think of him. Additionally I watched this with my 3 year old and he thinks you’re my dad (I told him his grandpa loved to make model cars). He loves watching these and will say “what’s grandpa doing now? Why is he using that tape?” I hope it’s okay that I let him believe he is watching grandpa in action. ❤
Thanks for the content!
Wouldn’t want to be a grandpa any other way🫶
Glad my vidoes can help out this way💪
Your attention to detail is incredible. I'm curious how many hours such a piece would take you to complete
You built a beautiful GT500 but you used a small block engine a 289/302 instead of using a big block such as 428. But still a beautiful build, you are an inspiration
Thanks for this. Mustangs are my favorite car, and as a rookie modeler I learned so much from watching this
A film which you won't mention? "Herbie goes Bananas" Nailed it.
Great build though Tom.
Dangit. You got me!
@@TheScalemodelingChannel 😁
Wow!!! I'm totally amazed by the detail on your build. Incredible in every way. i appreciate you posting. TY!!
I remember the 12yr old me using thread for the wires, dabbing a bit of glue on the end and painting it black for the spark plug boots. Great content as always.
That's awesome, I use to put together model cars and would add xtra details and stuff. Never went as detailed as this tho, idk if id have the patience to put this much detail into a model
I need to get me one of those kits! That un-named movie car is my all time favorite! Awesome build! Thanks for sharing! 👍👍
Attention to detail done!!!
Love the paint job and how You deepened the pannel and seem lines!
Dont let him misslead you begginers he makes this look soo easy .and it is to him .
Try this as a noob and you will get real good at the sanding part .
Incredible! Thanks so much for showing us that and all the details incl. the materials used.
Man, this has to be the best interior I've ever seen!
The gold stripes on blue would’ve been a cool custom look too. Kudos on this kit!
That could indeed look pretty awsome too!
Excellent video & job building and painting your '67 Ford Mustang GT Model Car too!
wonderfull car man. Awesome. I like very much. 👍
So cool amazing 👏
Beauty! I could dwatch these videos all day but I have things to do. Will certainly be watching my notifications for the next one.
Beautiful job man
You did a Fantastic job on this Mustang!! Love the colors and the details. 🤗
Nice to see that particular car done differently for once - and in blue.
So satisfying to watch, look forward to seeing more of your beautiful work. 👍🏾
That is one beautiful build. Looks amazing, great job. Have a great day. -David

I could never, just so much concentration! This is why I just collect pre-built model cars lol
Nice finish and shine 👍.. Great job on your build.

Wow - Amazing to watch. Superior craftsmanship.
Fantastic build
The attention to detail is absolutely phenomenal!
Bloody good job mate!
If you ever get to Western Australia, I'll buy you a cold beer.🍺
Otro genial video con resultados estupendos sobre el armado de este Ford Mustang GT 1967, mis respetos y saludos desde Venezuela,💯👍💯💯💯🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely stunning build thanks for sharing.
Canal incrível!! Parabéns pelo excelente, e perfeito, trabalho!!!
I applaud Your build, Beautifully done!
Thank You for sharing!
Beautiful detail, but back in those days we never used seatbelts, ever, and we'd tuck them completely under the cushions of the seats. 😉
Just because you did not use them. And tucked them away. Does not mean they where not there 😅
perfect work love it!!!❤
Thank you for the next Awesome Mustang! And next - Mustang Boss 302 1969' Revell? Please!
Iconic model of car industry 😊👍👌👏
I see, it’s Eleanor ! There I’ve said it for you.
Although the copyright owners should be happy. The car was the best part of the film. I can’t even remember the names of any of the people in it.
Hell of a nice blue
Acabo de descubrir tu canal
Eres el que mejor trabaja de todos, espero aprender mucho de ti, estaré atento a tus vídeos

Just want to mention, you are free to say a movie title anytime anywhere. A title cannot be copyrighted. I could do slasher movie and call it "Gone With The Wind" if I liked. It would be stupid, but perfectly legal. (U.S. Copyright Act of 1976)
Yeah, on your list it is the seconde Panelline scriber I'm waiting since I can't get the Tamiya one in Canada.
Beautiful
Great job!!! Looks Amazing, I wish I had i that kind of talent
I would have liked to see more wiring in the engine compartment.
Otherwise, you do a great job.
Great craftsmanship in what you do!! Great stuff!
What's the worst mistake you ever did building a model car kit? I was actually rebuilding a model I purchased from eBay and I spent a lot of time on the body. I used break fluid to take the paint off the body and I sanded all the imperfections away primed it and did a lot more sanding and I had this body almost perfect. Then I had some solution I use to wash away any grime and dust so I started spraying it on the body and then I noticed the fibers from the cloth started sticking to the body and the next thing I know the car literally started melting away and I opened the solution I had and I forgot I was using some of my wife's nail polish on another project. There was nothing I could do but to watch it melt in slow motion. Lesson learned. Beautiful build by the way on the mustang do you sell any of your builds you do on your channel?
Top Notch model build of a 1967 Ford Mustang GT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beatiful model mustang
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏. Grazie.
Привет, спасибо за крутой видосик. Nice work bro.
Nice kit and a lovely paint job.
Nice video, the Mustang turned out GREAT!!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👍 😉
Beautiful mustang.
Phenomenal paintings skills... nice!!
Awesome mustang! I now have a reference on my future build. Thank you!
Detail is great. Nice job.
Out of this World 😉👍🏽🌹🌹
Looks so great
Absolutely beautiful! Well done sir!
fantastic job amazing!... quick question, when painting with airbrush do you need to dilute the paint if you what do you used? or the paint come ready to use on a airbrush?
That all depends on the type and brand of paint you use. Some are pre thinned. Others need thinning.
I'm not sure if you check your messages on a post that's a few years old. Very nicely built mustang. I've been following your channel for a while. I was curious where you got the door handles for this build, or where you recommend getting these parts. Thank you for your help. Keep up the awesome builds.
I'm pretty sure they came with the USCP Conversion kit, but Scaleproduction sells some handles aswell
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Thank you for your help.
Awesome work man, but i think it would be cooler if the wheels would roll...
Awesome build!
Shoulda made it Eleanor colours though 😎
Already did an eleanor. So having 2 would not make that much sense
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Oh really? I haven’t been recommended the video yet.
Good build as always and I look forward to when I can do better builds myself. 🙂Thomas over at The Model Hobbyist
Nice video ☺️
amazing
a friend of mine ,used phone cord or wire but the one with red green black and yellow wires is side , anyway he used the the wires for the battery and plugs and if he put a system in it the wiring for that as well
I would have made white letter wall tires to make it stand out more
Curious about how your thoughts on metallic paints in scale. Colours are great across range, but grain size? It stands out for me that metallic paints don't translate as well and can look more toy'ish. Do pearl finishes over flat colours solve that? Or are we at the limit?
Paint scale is relative. No flake size is the same. Even on 1:1 cars. Its hard to scale it down.
No i don’t always agree with the “flake size”. But i do take it for granted a little bit. As the colors still look amazing, and have the look i’m after.
Pearls have a smaller “flake”. But also give an entirely different finish and look.
Very detailed - great job
Absolutely stunning 😍
Awesome job, looks amazing
Comme toujours ...super !!!!!
Excellent job on the car and video and I gave you a like
Next level stuff. Amazing!
Classic white on metallic blue mustang
That came out amazing.
Impressive work sir, I'm doing a blue Corvette GS 1996 and when I removed the masking tape I noticed a little blue blurred spot on the white strip. Would you paint it white over the blue spot using a very fine brush or would you use acetone instead? Thanks!
Since i don’t know what paint you use. Acetone is not something i suggest. Maybe sand it down and spray some more paint on? Or if its simply straight white. Sand it. And clearcoat over it
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Thank you very much!
Beautiful job 👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸
Wow! I was re-watching some of your older videos and you have really improved your camera work over time. Your current close up work really makes watching your videos enjoyable and really easy to see all the extraordinary detail. Not to take away from any of your older videos because they are great, just a shout out to your ever improving skills and videos. Great Work!!!
Great kit, nicely done.
A good one to do soon would be a tamiya subaru of some kind
Very nice work my friend.looking forward to seeing the next one.🏁🏁🇺🇲
Looks incredible!!!!!
Just beautiful awesome looking great job
Very nice job!
how long do you let the primer dry before applying basecoat and also did you do any wet-sanding prior to applying basecoat on primer?
Depends on the primer you use. The temperature in the room, how thick you spray etc etc. I usualy let it dry for an hour or so.
And then sand it with 3000 grit if it needs to be smoother
Muito show meu amigão
Thank you
How did you find this transkit compared to the older USCP kit? Looks like this one has more parts and you have to glue the vents to the body.
Love your videos, hoping to pick one of the USCP kits up soon.
What is a transkit? Is that the second box opening?
Great job and pure pleasure to watch! How does this not masked panel line on 5:37 not get covered by white primer?
Very precise build mate 👌👌👌👌
I prefer the early Mustangs 1964-1966. By 1967 the Mustang was getting fat and cluttered. It took until 1999 to have it back with attractive lines.
Awesome job , out of curiosity what’s a model like that worth , the reason I’m asking I had a friend who used to build & sale them as a hobby , Thankyou for the video
Whatever the next guy is willing to pay. And a lot less to someone else, then it is to you
another thing, the film car,as depicted by the reg,is silver!
Yes. I did not build the car from the movie. As mine is blue and has different stripes.
lol no of my parts ever come out looking like that out of the box. usually have a bunch of extra plastic from the mold you have to trime up, plus the plastic sometimes has warps in it and never lines up right. Whats your secret lol
