In 1982, aged 19 years old, a 2002tii was my very first car! It was a 1974 car, so square rear lights and black plastic front grille. It Atlantik (dark blue) with a light grey interior. Your build takes me back to that car and is very inspiring.
Do not take this wrong, because this is among the best I have seen in Model building , the color of the seats and door panels looks like it is made of wood, there is something with the color, I guess on the real car it is leather/skin material ?
I'm not a car modeller but my goodness this is hands down the best car kit I've ever seen built. Your attention to detail and pure skill level really drives me to improve my own skills. Very much looking forward to your next video!
Wow! Some of the BEST model building I’ve ever seen! Honestly that still with the white background, I wouldn’t be able to tell that it wasn’t the real thing! Incredible work.
I've got the car, in this exact color; sadly not the tii engine though! But it's crazy how much it looks like he's a giant holding my car in his hand : )
Totally agree, as someone who has made models, however, nowhere near to this attention of detail!🤔, and then, someone Who has been lucky enough to drive the real McCoy in this very colour many moons ago, it was like seeing the real car again, and yes Guys, What a Car!, pee all over My MK1 3ltr Capri!, Did I sound like Clarkson then?!😆
Your skill and patience in building the model are incredible - but also in producing such an interesting, clear and informative video! Thank you so much.
I have zero idea about scale modeling but my god i was impressed that there are so many aftermarket kits to supplement a BMW 2002tii model kit! Astonishing work!
What the heck have I just witnessed? This is just unbelievable - I think I watched the whole video open mouthed. I had no idea this level of realism was possible. Amazing!
This car is absolutely gorgeous, I used to build model cars when I was younger, then fell out of it, now as an adult on disability, I started again for a relaxing hobby, nowhere near this good though
I used to work as a mechanic, Still being a proud car guy, I couldn't help but smile when I saw how you brought the engine bay and the sand-blaster amongst other pieces to life by your little tricks. Watching this video I wanted to skip to the very end to see it finished but I just about managed not to :) , I am delighted to have come across your channel, You have a new subscriber. Love from Ireland.
I purchased 3 of these kits but haven't had time to build them yet. I own 6 real BMW 2002s including some tii's and have owned many more...I really enjoyed this video and am looking forward to finally getting the time to build this model. We'll done!
In japan, the masters never tell their students how good they are doing. They always tell them they can do much better. That way you dont get arrogant and complacent and you always try to achieve better than before.
This model is a spitting image of the 1973 2002 that i restored and used to own and drive. This Golf-yellow color in combination with the 3 piece alu grill and round rear lights was only available between 1971 and 1973. After that the front grill became black plastic and the rear lights became square. A really detailed kit and very well put together. Nice!
The 2002 Tii - was my dream car as a teen, I had a spoilt brat classmate who used to park his brand new one in front of the school to the envy of us less fortunate. As a model builder myself I can appreciate the heart and soul you put into your work. My only complaint is why didn't you go with the original body color, a 2002 Tii should be orange of course. As I couldn't afford the 2002 I bought a "BMW wannabe" a cheap Glas 1304 CL with BMW hub caps, but it was orange..
This is absolutely next level skill. The attention to miniature detail is off the chart! I would not be able to do any of this without computer aided zoom magnification.
This is mind bendingly phenomenal. I have owned 3 road going BMW e21s and often thought of getting 1:18 scale model and adding additional super detail as you have done to this 2002 model, but alas I do not possess even 1% of your skill or patience. It was mesmerising watching this video especially with the meditative music in the background. I liked the way you gave a running commentary which included the challenges and the pitfalls. Excellent camerawork and editing too. Simply stunning work, you even have the windscreen pillar mounted aerial...astonishing.👍😎
Hello Scale a ton that's a nice looking classic model car BMW. BMW has a very long history of cars. Amazing work on this model car. I like cars. 🚗🚗🎭🇩🇪🇩🇪🙌🙏🤑😊😃
Loved those 2002 TII cars...ahead of their time...masterpiece of German technology. What a nice build of the kit...one step at a time and you will get there. Lovely colour also.
Thank you for bringing to life (in miniature) a car that is so significant to my childhood! It’s the reason for my love of all things automotive and bonded a very special man to my family for his entire life. His passing affected me greatly, and seeing your build brought back many fond memories of my time with him so many years ago.
After seeing the amazing color scheme you did on the first one you built, I had to come back and see this super detailed version! As usual, you've knocked it out of the park again!
When some people realize that hey don't have 1% of the skills necessary to do something like this they try to drag down those who do. It's sad and pathetic, really.
Hello, I've been driving the original for over 10 years. The model is really well built. Everything is 99% right like the original. Super built. Greetings from Germany
Has to be one of the best modelling videos i have seen in a long time. Cant believe 5 people have give this a thumbs down, but i suppose your always going to get the negative ones. Love the channel, love your work and love this video. 🖕🏻 to the haters.
I owned a real 2002Tii that came in as a used car when I was working at Kaunz in Lake Forest, Illinois. This is an amazing model. Not many people can work in this scale and with this much 'correctness'. Ce o super construi.
Fantastic work amazing skills, i just wonder why don't you cut loose the doors, that would be the perfeccion that you are totally able to achieve. Congratulations any way.
BMV? I'm glad you spelled it out somehow like we did in Germany. 👍 But it sounds a bit strange in English IMHO. But great work. Some of my favorite builds and models too.
I believe you have created an amazing and true picture here, a BMW in a workshop, you can rarely see them on the streets with that many faults. :)))) Great work.
David R Lentz, USA As astounding as ever, sir! It is a true joy to watch you work. A bit wistful for me, though, as I wish I wish I were doing much as you. At 19:40, FTPE tape is polytetrafluoroethylene on a tape for professional construction and maintenance use.
Very impressive. You have the fine motor skills of a surgeon! Thanks for sharing. (that engine with the light blue oil filter and dark red fan looks quite real - those different shades of metallic paint for the engine block and exhaust pipes made it look amazing).

I am speechless, it looks like a real car, my goodness what talent and patience you have - thank you
And the hands of a surgeon. That alone would prevent me from ever achieving this level of amazing.
Legends say that if you put petrol in the tank and turn the keys, it will start😂
Wow! Some of the BEST model building I’ve ever seen! Honestly that still with the white background, I wouldn’t be able to tell that it wasn’t the real thing! Incredible work.
„Let’s paint this like a half filled water tank.“ made me smile. Such a nice detail.
As being someone who used to own exactly this car with this tii engine, this is truly unbelievable...what a level of detail. Great job !
how the heck did U fit in ther?
I've got the car, in this exact color; sadly not the tii engine though! But it's crazy how much it looks like he's a giant holding my car in his hand : )

No matter how much I watch your video, I can't believe what I'm seeing. What dexterity, intelligence, and patience. Well done.
Amazing build! I have learned so many new modeling techniques from this video. Thank you for making this wonderful BMW.
Please, try to make a Opel manta A model
you are the most patient person I've ever seen. teach me your patience

Very impressive, when are you taking it for a drive?
Hardcore classic BMW enthusiast. Your detail and painting are amazing. You have a job in Hollywood waiting for you in set design.
This car is absolutely gorgeous, I used to build model cars when I was younger, then fell out of it, now as an adult on disability, I started again for a relaxing hobby, nowhere near this good though
I thought it was real until i saw your hand, that car is a master piece 🤩🤩
I used to think I could build plastic models - nothing comapred with this. Expert talent!
Beautifully enunciated English. A pleasure to listen to.
شما به طرز عجیبی هنرمند و با حوصله و دقیق هستید
این کار شما بسیار قابل تحسین و سخت است درود من از ایران بر شما
2002 Tii remarkable car. I put 196,000 miles on one in 12 months. Inca Orange/Chinese Red. I loved that car!!!
On a 2002 I made my driving license in 1970. 7 schooling hours including the test. Beautiful car! The round rear lights are fantastic.
I used to work as a mechanic, Still being a proud car guy, I couldn't help but smile when I saw how you brought the engine bay and the sand-blaster amongst other pieces to life by your little tricks. My late father in law had a 2002 back in the seventies. It was a delightful little car and one of BMWs better models, sporty but unassuming.
This model is a spitting image of the 1973 2002 that i restored and used to own and drive.

One of the best accurate builds of my favourite BMWs! You're attention to detail and patience is amazing. Thank you for sharing your work.

Incredible work. I only think the cylinder order is wrong because it should be 1342 but other than that, brilliant.
This is absolutely next level skill. The attention to miniature detail is off the chart! I would not be able to do any of this without computer aided zoom magnification.
Wow, what a great job. My first car was a 1973 BMW 1602. Memories come back again.
Mine was in bright red.

You are, without a doubt, the Bob Ross of plastic model, very soothing to watch and listen to. Thank you very much 🙂👍
I could watch you make little battery lead wires and spark plugs all day! Amazing work, thank you for the content
There used to be a television show on this topic, before there was internet. It was on PBS and seldom televised. I treasured it so much. Subscribed!

Man I would love to go all in on resin parts for a kit (one of these days). Beautiful build and finish.
Amazing and brilliant! I know I’m not saying anything new, but your execution is impeccable.
This is ridiculous !!! I go down on my knees for that craftmanship !!!
tfw if I didn't see that tweezer you could have fooled me into thinking that is an actual garage, that's how detailed your works are
My favorite car of all-time. Best car BMW ever built. The model is incredible. ❤️❤️
Its a beautiful build. If this is your favorite, view A4 garage he built this same model with a few twists. You will also enjoy the detail.
After seeing the amazing color scheme you did on the first one you built, I had to come back and see this super detailed version! As usual, you've knocked it out of the park again!
That BMW looks better than my real one back in 1985. Perfect ! The Ultimate Model Car !
Incredible work. I dont know why but the door interior and seats are my favorite part.
An awesome model. Very beautiful. All the best from BMW country Bavaria !!!
