Awesome work my friend!!
Where do you get all these old things?
Full of 💩

It's a shame, someone went to all that work to make it look abandoned; dirty paint job, bubbling rust, mismatched door, for sale sign, then to undo their hard labor.
I thought that same thing. I kinda liked it the way it was.
Bro, its their job, and they make money from doing all that shit...
@@virals2656 yea that's one hell of a job. Model car turdifacation
@@ricmarsh7877 same
Yeah that barn find look was killer.
I can't believe he went through the effort to undo a lot of great work. When the vid first started, i was amazed how real the "old" car looked!
It was perfectly weathered!
Exactly..i would have left it like it was
Realy never seen a model of a rust junkyard car before.
This could have been the center piece of a great diorama. That may of been what it was. Throw a net over Restore DIY before he damages or destroys something important.
@@cnewell1971 agree...it's like a real barn find car..
That one primer black door at the beginning was truly authentic!!!!
I've never weathered a model before but the job done on this one was done masterfully. It really is a shame to have reversed such a great job.
Way to go! You took one of the most masterfully detailed model cars I've ever seen and turned it into something truly mundane.
That's exactly what I was thinking while I was watching this. I thought I was going to see the restoration of a neglected, damaged and discarded model car 'survivor;' not the desecration of a well-thought out, highly-detailed weathering job (especially that body rust!) The skills of this model builder are NOT in question - they are excellent, no doubt. But the next time they get their hands on a model like that, it would be better if they used their skills to build a "barn find" diorama, instead . . . .
Yeah it must have taken many hours to create the 'abandoned car' look, which was very appealing. Then it was all undone, and became just another boring model. The first iteration was unique and interesting, it caught the eye. I get that its not my channel or content, so each to their own. Its still good workmanship, just seems an odd thing to do. I would definitely enjoy watching a video showing how the 'abandoned car' went from regular model kit, to unique art piece.
And I hate to be a nit picker, but that engine color was more Ford than Pontiac - in '65 Pontiac engines were painted a non metallic light blue color.
I hate to be the ass hat here but everyone has what they like maybe he likes showroom quality stuff was it heart breaking to watch him remove the patina and hard work absolutely but to each their own
Critique the model car restoration video you do....bottom of the barrel you are.
I think I’ve seen this guy before, taking a truly unique and masterful work of art and turning it into an everyday piece. I believe this is called snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
lol
Lol
@@adcoxrobert3786 - thanks for your reply. I agree his work is stunning.
It was better at the beginning. That wreck is cooler than any of the restorations on these. I can't believe it goes in reverse. That looked like a lot of work to undo.
Sure
I know,I love rusty crusty stuff and it gives that color that no paint could do
Man I would love to see the video of that original look being done. Whoever did that had some serious skills!
It looked better before you restored it
First of all , I like the restoration that you did on that car . However , I kind-of liked the car the way it was ! I liked the fact ..that it looked real the first time. It looked like a real car . The restoration turned it into a model car . Just my opinion 🤷
Me too! I even tought it was an actual car vid before I watched.
Pins, eh? That's what hold my knees in place! How original!
One of the most beautiful cars ever built... and the model was restored to reflect just how awesome the early model GTOs were. Nicely done.
The before restoration version would look cool in a junkyard diorama. It looks like a car that was in an accident, and then left at an auto graveyard to rust away for many years.
Yea! I wrote the same thing in this video, that he damaged a car that before, was much better 😌✌🏻
What a beautiful model of the Pontiac GTO 1966 car !!
Very nice work, you’ve done it before.
Practice makes perfect. My favorite car.
What company made these models and are they still making models? They have the most amazing detail I've ever seen in a model.
US Mussel Die cast 1 1/8 scale, made these and they made Ford, Chevy, Dodge Mussel cars in the 90s. eBay has them for sale now, There’s other Companies that made the same cars, There over 100 cars made of all years to the 1 st Ford made.
@@williamstidham2163 Thank you for that information. I'll be looking into it.
I was going to say the same. It almost looked real. Very detailed
My words exactly! This model company really did their homework on the details of the real cars, and, turned them into a smaller, model versions! Incredible attention to detail! I bet they are expensive!

El resultado quedó precioso. FELICITACIONES.
GM would be proud of the restoration job you performed on that model of a Pontiac GTO. Well done.
Eu deixaria o carro velho!! Estava lindo!!!
Kkkkk tava mesmo

@@iz_metro2033 Привет!
Turned out great
Personally I preferred it all beaten up
Beautiful work but i was surprised you didnt do the remainder of the chrome trim package
The best part is having seen pro work on the art before, and after...I can appreciate both sides👏👌
Nothing beats a good frame off restoration... I would have painted it bright yellow with black interior. Had a 65 Mustang that color in High School in 1967.
I love before and after restoration, before restoration is actually good for making diorama
It looks great restored. But somehow, I like the way it looks before restoration. Just that abandoned and forgotten look is ao cool.
It looked like a work of art, u unfixed it!
No entiendo como puedes dejarlos completamente nuevos!! Es increíble. Excelente trabajo 👍
I’m impressed by the attention to detail that model has
That came out super nice. Thanks for sharing.
love your work, im just saying in this episode the model looks amazingly realistic at the original state, i mean weathered and looks like real junkyard car😁
Very nice, in real life my Dad had this very GTO, his was in Skyliner Blue. As a mechanic I can tell you, that's a pretty cool highly detailed model! Working driveshaft, battery, heck even the glove box opens.
Awesome restoration, keep it up the good work!
From Bucharest, Romania with respect.
What incredible work to make a new model car look so dilapidated. So much time and incredible skill. All for nothing when you don't remember to give the brand new body screws some patina
Very fine Restore on a very fine Muscler Car back in the 60's 👍
Die cast metal that thick is not going to break off without a lot of help.
that was intentionally cut up either because it was in a junkyard diorama or this guy cut up and thrown dirt and some rusting agents on it to fake the video for clicks so the car looks more run down...
@@maszkalman3676 Right, that was my point that it was intentionally cut up.
nice job but I really liked it before u restored it. I would have made a A grassy filled with an old barn sitting out there and have a sit in it or in front of it outside
Nice job. Interesting how that front end was so cleanly broken off and such a easily repairable spot with such a smooth clean break. If one didn’t know better that might think it was cut apart……..
it was cutapart !!
Most of us already know this this shit's done on purpose
Didn't you guys see the way it looked before restoration? The big ass "FOR SALE" sign on the windshield? Carefully placed rust? Of course this one was done on purpose, this model was probably used in someone's model set before getting handed off to this restoration guy. Who then proceded to undo the work that had been done to it.
@@ethanspaziani1070Or they just magically find them lying around some where. I can't remember which channel it was that I saw it on, the person found an "abandoned" motorcycle on fire, but it was clearly faked. That or one person found a car in the middle of a lake frozen in ice.
People admit to faking certain ones, but it's limited to the person.
@@nicktwolf or xboxs in random garbage heaps
Creative in restoring old things. I try to imitate what you do. Thank you ❤❤❤
There are no words for this person’s craftsmanship. To make it look like he got it at the pick a parts then to grand slam it with original rims and paint job. Simply no words 🙌🏽🙇🏽♂️🙌🏽🙇🏽♂️🙌🏽
Redone looks great, don't remember seeing many red ones out there, GM must have gotten a good deal on their burgundy paint. That's mostly what was around when I was younger. I have to admit that I see way more before ones now than I do restored ones.
Other than the color that you painted the engine that GTO looks remarkable
They came out a dark blue with a black hood with white stripes on side and White interior, GTO on fender,
Hola buenas
The detail of it is amazing
Once again...GREAT WORK
Good Work 👍
I can tell that there's a lot of people who really wanted to see this 1966 model GTO get revamped. Thus, regarding what comes from the 20th century.
Great Video 🙌🏼❤️
Looks like a well made model car. Many more parts than usual. Very nice restoration.
Looks just as AWESOME in its b4 state as as in after ..think I like the b4 better I would have painted it olive purple or maybe one of those blue period colors ....this reminds me of all the plastic model cars my brother and I had and put together and played with as kids back in the early 70s
It shows how devoted you are in the work you do restoring these back to beauty. Beautiful work on a master piece of machinery !
Kind of like how real-life cars are restored.
I’d like to see how the car was made to look old and weathered
Crazy how restoring something actually destroyed a work of art
Bloody amazing!! Once again I've made the mistake of watching this at work while doing the paperwork...these videos are always mesmerising...you have great talent brother👍
Even though you undo your process of making it look weathered, it's still amazing.
This video is 1000 times better if you watch it in reverse.....
Keep going mate . Nice content and restoration ! 👏
I like it fixed best. That diorama was decent.
But if it was real on property I would give it away.
Heck with a mess like that on my shelf.
And now you can hold it.
Me gustan tu restauraciones, eres el mejor.
Will it run?
My father use to work for the company back in the 50s this is my favorite car.
Nice work 👍
Must be a very old model car because modern ones don't have such detail.
yeah this guy probably stole someone's diorama car...
The best part of building any model car is when it's ready to put the body on the frame. Then the car comes together and gives the person a feeling of accomplishment. In my opinion.
They should hire people like you to build those. You wanna know why? Because you're really damn good at it👍
What was that green stuff you sprayed on? Was it a sealer of some sort?
The restoration was pretty nice. But the original model was infinitely more realistic and could have easily appeared in a movie scene in a forced perspective shot of a junk yard, or post-apocalyptic hellscape.
That was the most amazingly realistic model I've ever seen. I literally thought it was a real car that was photoshopped to look small in the thumbnail.
In the thumbnail, the rusty car actually looked like it had been skillfully weathered by a seasoned modeler. I initially clicked expecting a satire of restoration videos.
It is obvious , the passion for this hobby . What is also obvious , is the shake in the drill press ....., I enjoyed 👍👍
Gostei muito do carro
Předtím vypadal ten model o dost líp. 😛
Look at it this way, he found a barn find and restored it. Just a different sized GTO. Nice job
That is a stunning restoration on that Pontiac GTO , looks great 👍
The GTO looks amazing. You have excellent skills along with attention to detail. Thank you for a great video. I enjoy your channel and content. ❤🇨🇦
1 of the best restorations I ever saw !
Wow
Show👍😎🇧🇷
some highly skilled artist spent many hours making that model look the way it did and you just came along and ruined it
Beautifully restored👌👍 loved how the before was with mismatched doors and for sale sign🤣. Cool touch👌Both before and after looks sweet to me
The first restoration I've seen that didn't need to be done.
Aí sim, hein! É um trabalho genial!
Okay let’s go to the scrap yard and see all the wreckage. With all your videos repairing these cars there must be a junkyard full of old models. Lol
Fine work on a great model car!! Cheers !! 😁👍🛠️🔧
So beautiful video
It turned out nice like any other model, but it’s a shame to see someone else’s detailed work being ripped away, I liked the weathered art beforehand, also nice screw stripper 3,000
