Sebastian is definitely a goofball but one that deserves some respect. Definitely one if the best male voices in this genre of Rock. Yeah he comes off as an obnoxious goofball on reality shows and seems to have a major case of adhd. When he pulls his sht together and focuses hes still capable of genius levels of awesomeness and is a huge rock music fan boy himself. When vh1 used to do those 100 greatest (fill in the blank) in Rock he was often one of the most insightful commenters. Him and skid row separated in the 90's. From what i gather it had to do with him wanting the band to do a tour with Kiss (his favorite) and the rest of the band thought they were too big to be opening for Kiss. He ended up drunk dialing one of the other band members during a family holiday dinner and cursing them out over the answering machine that could be heard by everyone present. Not fully sure if he quit or was fired He has had a successful solo career but lost some of his range in later years. In his book he points to wasted time being a song that helped to fry his upper register. What he has is still impressive though. If you want to see the most insane example of something he could do theres a video from before he was famous singing Led Zeppelin at a wedding hitting what i would call whistle notes. He also has a brand new album out right now called Child Within The Man that rocks so hard.
Glad you liked this one. Bas was an amazing singer(though he’s still not that bad now either!!!) You can react to pretty much ANY song from their first 2 albums , Youth Gone Wild, or Slave To The Grind. Dashboard Jesus, 18 and Life, Monkey Business, and I Remember You, are standout classics if you want to listen to those first.

Skid Row had 2 albums that need to be heard whole : Skid Row, and Slave to the grind. Anything else they made is really negligeable (and I'm not saying: bad). These two albums are worthy and a must-know.
He and David Coverdale (and R.I.P. Chris Cornell) - guys with a power, range and pitch pocket but what's worst - even in scream - they bring that power in long phrases on point and do it so frigging effortlessly. I hate them! ;) Oh. And Steve Tyler too.

Dan Vasc does a cover of Skid Row’s 18 & Life that I’d LOVE to see you react to! He’s the only one I’ve ever seen/heard do justice to Sebastian Bach’s powerful voice. It’s amazing! Sebastian’s voice was just as incredible live without all of the studio magic that so many bands do when they record. Man, you’ve really got me reminiscing today. The 90’s were so much fun! Definitely didn't slip under the rug. They were huge between '89-'91. You might have just missed it! Give Sebastian's solo stuff a listen. He just released a new solo album - give "Hold On (to the Dream)" a listen. You'll hear how his voice has changed in 30 years, but it's still amazing!
Skid Row came up in the late 80's into early 90's...first time heard them in 1988..but Sabatian is like no other!! During those times...there where so many Metal bands and each one was great!!! You really had to be a very talented musician!!! From playing instruments to singing..real TALENT!!! No autotunes@! Keep up the great reactions Brother 👍

If you really want one to rock to,, give Slave to the Grind a try. I graduated in 93 and let me tell you Sebastian’s voice always hit deep for me.. He was truly my biggest crush! Got to see them and Soundgarden back in 91 from the front row of a small venue and watched Sebastian rock out just off stage while Soundgarden was playing. Fast forward to 2017 when Chris Cornell passes away and I shared that concert story on Sebastian’s FB post about his passing,, and he shared it! Felt like I was 16 all over again 😁😂 This lady will always be a Sebastian Bach fan! Great reaction,, got a new sub outta me 😁👍🏻
