It does not look or feel right seeing these little dudes that in real life would get crushed by the bigger guys having matches with them. I liked the old Vince McMahon the one that went for looks and charisma. The bigger than life super hero like wrestlers. When you think of it and the pop they get when they make appearances he was right. I am not saying smaller wrestlers cannot wrestle or be entertaining, they just need to be wrestling guys their size more. I laugh every time I saw a Match like The Hurricane vs. The Rock. It was better when it was The Hurricane vs. Ray Mysterio or Dean Malenko sized guys. WCW had it right when they had the cruiser weight division etc...Just my personal preferance. I do not like Cody Rhodes competing against guys the size of Roman and Brock Lesnar. It is not my call, but small built guys would not be getting the heavy weight belts.
That's why the WCW cruiserweight division was so popular. They weren't exactly tiny, just more normal sized. Many of those guys would be heavyweights today, look at Jericho for example.

To me , the AEW pillars have changed to MJF, Jamie Hayter, the Acclaim, and the Gunns.

If AEW would get more serious with the look of their wrestlers and wrestling ability I would enjoy it more. I have always had a hard time with wrestlers that are small like Jungle boy. It does not look or feel right seeing these little dudes that in real life would get crushed by the bigger guys having matches with them. I liked the old Vince McMahon the one that went for looks and charisma. The bigger than life super hero like wrestlers. When you think of it and the pop they get when they make appearances he was right. I am not saying smaller wrestlers cannot wrestle or be entertaining, they just need to be wrestling guys their size more. I laugh every time I saw a Match like The Hurricane vs. The Rock. It was better when it was The Hurricane vs. Ray Mysterio or Dean Malenko sized guys. WCW had it right when they had the cruiser weight division etc...Just my personal preferance. I do not like Cody Rhodes competing against guys the size of Roman and Brock Lesnar. It is not my call, but small built guys would not be getting the heavy weight belts.
That's why the WCW cruiserweight division was so popular. They weren't exactly tiny, just more normal sized. Many of those guys would be heavyweights today, look at Jericho for example.
Punk is going to make more money for WWE hurt than the Young Bucks will wrestling for AEW was expected by everyone that knows ball, but what I don’t expect is him making more money for AEW while fired than the Bucks would wrestling there.
