Sensation Comics and The Amazing Spider-Man Comic! Nice Pick-ups! The colours on the Spider-Man book are so vibrant and the foreground and the background are fantastic! But, I like the Wonder Woman Comic because you sent it away raw, and than had it graded professionally.

Great pickups. My favorite character is Spider-man. I am primarily a Silver and Bronze collector, but I have a smattering of Golden Age. One genre of focus I have had over the years is collecting Christmas related comic books, and one book I had coveted for years was Sensation Comics #38. Like you, I prefer strong mid-grade to high grade books. And as you mentioned, these books can be pricey and this issue especially so due to the Christmas cover. SC #38 is a book that does not come up very often, and when the few nice copies came up over the years, I always got outbid. Finally, a 5.0 copy came up and it's one of those books where the front cover grades much nicer (around a 7.0 to 7.5 in my opinion) than the entire copy. You can see the book at about the 3:00 mark in my video from 6 months ago entitled "Christmas Comic Book Fun Episode #1."

I was really eyeballing the Promise Collection copy of SC #38 back in March, but it was a bit too pricey for me right now. 😂 I'll definitely check out your video to see your copy! Congratulations!

@@KarensPages My pleasure, we small time RUclipsrs in the comics/comic art hobby should always support one another, as we're all doing our own little part to leave the hobby a little better than it was when we entered it.
As for the weekly show, it's seeking out the published versions of the original art online as well as the year of publication, then resizing the scans and turning them into slides that is the most time consuming part. But once we go live, it's a blast because the work is all done and nothing is scripted. We all just hang out and have a good time together and it's a nice way for a few dozen of us to stay in regular contact. You should try just prerecording your next video without scripting/plotting it in any way. Just be yourself and don't worry about tripping over your words. Your enthusiasm, love and passion already shows through, but I think there's a good chance it would all come out even stronger if you just ad-libbed without any concern for mistakes or the need to edit so much. You have nothing to lose in any case, as you could try it and play it back for yourself privately to see how it goes. Either way, you're such a refreshing voice to see and hear in this hobby, which of course is why I want you to consider at least chatting with me privately about the possibility of doing something together on my channel and perhaps reciprocating on your channel. Aside from being fun, even my small following could be beneficial to you since you're just starting out. Please consider it. 🤗

There is something about ASM 66 that just pops. It's a great cover...the colors are vivid, the simplicity of the two characters (hero vs villain), and I love how imposing Mysterio looks. Romita was a master. I absolutely love Golden Age Wonder Woman comics. I love the art of H. G. Peter. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😊

Anyway, Karen, congratulations on your sensation Comics. I am very happy for you.. well, I would like all star comics 8 one day, but remember I’m not in the restaurant business anymore. If I want something good I have to sell something good.. I still have the death of Gwen Stacy she was always my favorite female character Harley Quinn is number 2 . I have amazing Spider-Man 121 and. 122 they are both 9.8. . I still have amazing Spider-Man. 1 6.5 X-Men.1 7.0 fantastic four 48 9.6 tales of suspense, 39, 8.5. . Amazing fantasy 15 which I told you before I have two copies.. and I have the first issue of Superman and Batman. They are both 5.0 restored the superman has no trimming, moderate professional. Thank you for your comment on amazing Spider-Man. 1 6.5 that sold for $11,600 that has to be total. BS . Because I told you I collected for many years and that book never sells for under $25,000. I told you I have a copy.. well have a great day. It’s about 10 AM. I’m just listening to Taylor, Swift, and Tears for Fears.
