it’s a show dude calm down
@@anson2457 Tell that to the people on the show who claim that they expect to get what it's worth. It doesn't matter if it's a show or not. The most annoying people on the show, are the ones who, after they get offered more than what they came in asking for, they then jack up their asking price to even beyond what they're offered, instead of being grateful and accepting the deal. I wish the expert would stick around to see the customer asking for exactly what the expert said it was worth.
It's hilarious, the experts work for Rick, so it's like your real estate agent representing the other seller.
Bob Hope's real name was Leslie Hope. When he first started out in show business he went by Les Hope. Somebody, his brother or manager (I forget) convinced him that nobody would pay to see less hope, so around 1930 he changed his stage name to Bob.
if only Rebecca knew a lot of about comic books.....
Shes a 6
Chill

Whenever they say “hey I got this guy I want to look at it, he’ll know more than I will” walk away you boutta be lowballed worse then they already planned on lowballing you 🤣
Not always, there’s been a few times the appraiser appraised it higher than the original asking price.
I love when they bring Creators or Actors to verify something then they bring in an actual expert .
2 for 1 special and your item gets verified and appraised on live tv??
If you keep it that item would be worth wayyyyyyy more
“This is the *actual* comic book that showed up in season 17 episode 20 of pawn stars”
@@SourceCod33 not just that but that is a clip of the creator verifying it .. thats the best proof u can have lol
Good thing they got experts. Easy to get burned. Some really nice stuff came through the door. Was fun to watch. Great video
Let me call two of my buddies for this. One is a expert on star, and another is an expert on wars.
Girl with the star wars one id crazy 😂 I want retail 😂
The Brit expert for the Ninja Turtle comic looks like the Undertaker.
unbelievable, that guy touched in amazing fantasy introducing spider man without gloves
The fools. That book is worth well of 50K now.
Bruh imagine going to a pawn shop to sell a comic book instead of a comic store where the person who owns the shop would know exactly what it’s worth, or even just selling it online because they are easy to move.
The guy selling the Bob Hope comic is so wholesome. Love the fella, looks like a professional candy man.
The comic book expert reminds me of Kip from Napoleon Dynamite.
“Napoleon, don’t be jealous that I’ve been chatting online with babes... all day.”
Why was I thinking this exact thing.
That Fantasy 15 is a $50,000 book today. Hopefully he didn't sell it until recently, and he's laughing all the way to the bank.
With the condition it’s in it’s definitely not $50,000
@@christianmcmahon1029 A 2.0 sells for $50,000. This is closer to a 3.0 - 3.5 even with Marvel Chipping. $50K any day of the week.
It always cracks me up...
(Seller) "I've seen them sell on average for about $50,000, and one sold for $70,000. I'll take $100,000."
Corey seals the deal with his classic ...sneak attack handshake 😅
-Owner: I ask for 60,000
-Expert: This wort 20,000
-Rick: I can give you 8,000
-Owner: Well i was at 60,000, so what about 30,000.
I think he didnt pay attention.
3:05 I thought he was the Undertaker for a while 😂😂😂
You aren't kidding! if you put hair on him he'd be a pretty close match!
People don’t seem to understand that a pawn shop is a business. They’re not going to give $10k for something that is worth $7k. They have to make money and the general rule of thumb is 50%. They’re not there to lose money.
30% preferably
For that Amazing Tales #15, currently, on Gocolllect, a 5 is going for 37000. This guy is getting criminally underballed.
11:13 rest in peace neil adams. one of the al time greats according to my teacher who met him as a child. my teacher said he encouraged him to be a comic book artist and to be the grounded awesome cool and influential teacher that he is today. i have neil adam to thank for passing his legacy down to all the aspiring comic and storyboard artists. rip.

I always get a kick out of the folks who find the actual value and still think a pawn shop is going to give them 3 times that amount.
I don't know exactly when these episodes were originally aired but comic books now are worth more than ever before. Especially the Spider- man comic. That comic even with it's flaws is probably worth 20 thousand or even more now. Just look all the comics book/Superhero movies nowadays and just how popular they are.
I agree and asm 15 was worth way more than they offered many years before there show aired
I’ve watched a bunch of these compilations and it’s astounding how many people there are who have zero idea how a pawn shop works.
The show is completely scripted.
that wedding girl: life sux, me: that haircut aint helpin.
Lol yeah that haircut was whack girl
I didn't realize Edward Snowden was back in the US grading star wars comics in Vegas for a pawn shop.
If I had a dollar for every time I heard “not a penny more” on this show I would be able to buy something from this expensive pawn shop lol.
right, like a worthless dress for 4k...
I’m surprised the first expert didn’t just appraise the book just in its current condition, then just tell Rick after that he can press it and get a drink on the side.
23:30 rick “ are you calling me old?”
Chumlee”!im stating a fact you are old “
Lol 😂
That first appearance of Spider Man is worth a well over 50k now. He could have bought it for 10K.
The way chum grabbed that amazing fantasy had me swinging
Greetings. It is with great pleasure that I learned a lot of information that is presented in all the videos that I follow closely and with unparalleled enthusiasm. I wish you success and progress in your work with the utmost thanks and respect.
Calm down Shakespeare
Not sure how I hadn't watched this until now. Always love seeing TMNT books and who better to authenticate it!
What about that Amazing Spider-Man #14 first Green Goblin that came to the shop? Or those Incredible Hulk books or when Chum had Stan Lee authenticate his signature ?
The man that graded the comic looks and sounds someone that makes gadgets in movies
I love Pawn Stars! Item is worth a million dollars. Pawn shop guys: "Best I can do is 10 dollars"
Chumlee, *excited*HEYYYY
Chumlee immediately after, sad, "im sorry you're friends with rick"
I'd really like to start seeing the proof of the experts opinions in regards to value.
Love these comic books 😍😍
I wish I still had my comic book collection. I moved out of my dad's house and into an apartment, I didn't have room in my car for my box of comic books. I intended to go back the next day to pick them out. Sadly, when I went back they were gone. My dad thought I didn't want them because I left them behind. Now here is the really sad part : I had the first 20 or so Marvel superhero comics including the Amazing Tales that introduced the world to Spiderman (but my Fantastic Four collect started with #3) . The first 20 Spiderman, Thor, the Hulk (he was originally gray, not green), Doctor Strange, Avengers, Antman, just to name a few.
I agree the Bob Hope was crazy.
I love how the guy who made the comic looked at it 😂
Beautiful and very beautiful show. I wish you health, peace, success and progress in your wonderful work. Greetings to all. With great thanks and respect.
"Heyy, Chum Lee. I'm sorry you're friends with Rick"
