Wow! I can only imagine what the 7.0 Captain America 1 I held at GSCF years ago at Metropolis Comics booth is now. They wanted $175,000 then.

I’ve lost all my collection that I was gaining through my childhood. Except for my Groo series which is pretty funny and I remember buying number one off the shelf. So I’ve saved them for memorials from my past. Now I’m 47 years old and just starting to collect again. Mostly Captain America, Hell Boy, X-Men, and Spawn. Thanks for sharing your collection and for inspiring me to get back in the hobby. Super impressive stack you’ve got going on 👏

I love just coming to see the content over and over and since I have most of the books in a lower grades it’s strangely a great feeling to see so many success ppl that were nerds now were rich and enjoying what other laughed at.

Great video. Super-jealous of some of those books....lots of great ones. But that Cap 1 is insane. The AF #15 is awesome too - and that may pass the Cap in value at some point. But if you look at how many of each of those books come up for sale...that Cap book is your gem. Good work.

Would have liked to see a grand total or ballpark at the end, but not make or break by any stretch.
Glad you enjoyed the videos! It was very eye-opening to see what these things are going for today. I wanted to make it more about the individual books than MY collection. Which is one of the reasons I didn't do a grand total. There was someone in the comments who was posting the totals. Another reason was that over the course of the series, the values changed quite a bit. So if I totaled all of values from all the videos, the figure wouldn't be too accurate. Even since I've posted this one, prices have been moved. It will be very interesting to see where everything is at next year.

😯😯😯😯😯😯Absolutely Incredible!!!!! What bugs me out is that as a kid I owed some of those books, when I went to the service in the mid 80s my brother had sold dem all!!! In the 70s the comic book joints had nothing but comics and u had to dig in the boxes to find the gold!!! Captain America has been my favorite hero since I was a child to see the 1st Captain comic MAN I ALMOST FAINTED WHEN YOU PULLED IT OUT!!! I was not expecting that!!!! Your books are insane!! I could watch epic videos like this all day and night! My jaw was on the floor as each book u showed got better and better! I'd like to know if u bought most of these raw then got Stan to sign then graded...? That's a crazy amount of $$$ in your possession! Pure insanity!!
Most of the big books were bought already graded. I’ve taken chances on big raw books, and have been burned a few times with restoration. The dig books were already slabbed. I may eventually try it, but the whole CGC witness/submission process seems like a lot of work and time. I prefer to let someone else do that. Though it would have definitely been cool to meet Stan.

Damn. I had 6 of those you showcased when I was a kid. 45 years now. My obsession was the Silver Surfer. I had most of the first series from 4 up to the 30s I think (memory is fuzzy) All of the second series. And all of the third series. They were all stolen years ago when I wasnt really into comics anymore. Broke my heart when it happened.

I’m going through my Newley deceased uncles 6000 comic book collection and alot of these are in it throughout all 4 parts. Been locked away in a chest, wrapped in plastic for 40 years and a lot of them in very good condition. Going through them all making a spreadsheet before they are appraised due to the size of the collection. ☺️

Instagram is a great place, some artists sell guaranteed 9.8 slabs featuring their work, and if your local comic store doesn’t;t have a good selection, there are tons online that do. Of course, there is always eBay. The deals are out there, but you have to do your homework.

massively awesome marvel collection. Something the lot of us can just wish to have. I have the means now tho, but to amass such guaranteed pieces is a skill and requires a lot of effort and of curse luck.

amazing fantasy #15 and signature by Stan lee! I hate begin into collecting comics as a kid I don't have any money to spare. Also if I do get a job that pays about $7.25/minimum wage and at my age I can only work 48 hours a week, so plus tips ill propyl only make MABYE $1,000 in a year if I'm lucky and that's not enough close to enough if I want a decent collection
Gotta start small. Buy a few things you like here and there and save and invest as much as you can in a diversified portfolio (Since you are working, check out the Roth IRA). The big stuff will be there when you're older. The earlier you start planning for those big purchases in life, the better off you will be!

I got a question? Where would you put Journey into Mistery#85 and If you can tell me which one is better in your opinion between JIM#85 and Daredevil#1 (1964)
I passed several opportunities to pick up JIM85 over the years. When I decided a I needed to get it, the prices were through the roof. Still want it, but am playing the waiting game. It may pay off, or I might wind up paying more. Daredevil has always been a favorite character of mine. Didn’t care much for Loki growing up. So Daredevil #1 was a must. The MCU has definitely had an impact on things. But I always prioritize characters/books based on their importance to me and don’t like to speculate too much.
I can't believe that I'm only just now getting around to watching this, but I'm really surprised at the number of 5s or below in the top 10! Now I've gotta go see how much an 8 or 9 is on this issues, just out of curiosity lol
Would love to have higher grades. But once you see how much they go for, suddenly the lower grades look a lot more attractive! 😁

Well I do have Batman 1 5.0 restored superman 1 5.0 restored no trimming amazing fantasy 15 6.0 amazing fantasy 15 8.0 restored no trimming I have an EC file copy the first appearance of The vault keeper war against crime 10 9.8 tales of suspense 39 8.5 fantastic 448 9.6 journey into mystery 83 6.0 amazing Spiderman 16.5. Anyway I sold most of my comic books I even kept my X-Men 1 7.0 . I loved your video totally awesome.🥳🥳🥳
