Without deacidifying these books they will waste away. I have a Superman 6 that is very acidic and brittle and is eating away. Have to work on my skills to be able to conserve that.

I especially love these conservation videos. You are a comic book surgeon!

Love seeing what this book looked like and what you've done with it so far. I'm pretty sure you're a comic conservation wizard.

Fun to watch all the tedious work you do. Thanks for the video

Looking very cool so far. What of those resource books should I start with for something like this? You're very helpful to the comic book community for certain. Thanks.

Start with Comic Book CPR, there is a link in the video description. It's the best introduction to cleaning and pressing. From there practice, practice, practice, and if you find yourself wanting to get into more involved processes, try the other books.

Hola, doctor Paul. Tengo una consulta: qué puedo usar para quitar unas manchas de pintura de las hojas de un libro, si sus hojas son delgadas como las del periódico o incluso más? Qué producto podría usar para remover las manchas de pintura sin dañar las páginas? Espero tu respuesta. Gracias.

Yikes! I'm not sure...i think it depends a lot on whether or not it's latex paint. You can try paint thinner but i have no idea if it will be effective. If you try it, please let us know how it works for you!
