Laundry Detergent Recipe - Makes 2 Gallons of Powder Detergent

Ingredients:
3 Zote Bars
1 lb Baking Soda (2 cups)
1 box Borax (4 lb)
1 tub Oxy Clean Free (3 lb)
1 box Arm & Hammer Super Washing Powder (3 lb)
Recipe makes just about 2 gallons of dry powder detergent.
Use 2 TBSP of powder per one regular washer load.
Dryer Sheet Replacement:
Soak reusable rags in white viengar, ring out some of the viengar of one rag then add it to one regular dryer load.

I've made my own laundry detergent for years and the price on the ingredients is double now. I didn't add oxy or the regular baking soda. I will have to try it. Also making approximately a years worth of detergent at once is a super idea. I started making the liquid at first but it took up so much room and finally only make the powder. Going to try your dryer sheet method also. Thank you so much.

A one year supply is so nice to have. I don't think we'll ever go back to store bought liquid detergent. Our skin, clothes, and wallets are much healthier now. -Jamie
