If you are using this just for art, the 43" is a good size. Use it in your hallway, entrance. If you go larger then your probably going to want to use it as a tv/art display.
Nice review. Only mistake was the one connect cable is not "in wall" rated in the USA (not sure about everywhere else). So in the USA you cannot hide the cable in the wall unless you want to risk voiding your home insurance if there is a fire.
Samsung used to make an "In wall" cable but no longer does. I talked to customer service and parts dept. at Samsung and nobody knows anything. Nice job Samsung. So if you want the wire in wall hire an electrician to do the work and insulate wire if you concerned about home owners insurance. Lots of people put the wire in wall.
It would be nice if there was a mount to allow you to manually turn the TV 90º so as to view vertical images. Probably something the DIYer could retro fit themselves.
Is the 32” a completely different screen from the larger screen as was the case for 2020 model ? Or is it a smaller version of the larger screens for 2022
Great review! Did you have any issues with the ambient light sensor when adding the 4 piece frame? I see some have issues in art mode that it is not dimming enough compared to ambient light level.
Hey, love your review, would you recommend this tv for just watching tv/netflix ect, I don't really need the art mode, but this is on a black friday sale now for 740€ or should I just check other tv's for this price? Thanks!
It's a good TV in its own right, so if you like the format and the matte screen, go for it. For that amount, you might be able to get a better model though strictly for watching TV and movies, depending on the market you're in and what's available.
The 32" model of this tv is kind of an unicorn in being probably the only native 1080p 32" inch tv + QLED + HDR + full matte finish + oneconnect. It has a lot of unique features when you add all of it in a single package that you dont find in other lines, even more expensive ones. Probably the best panel you can get for a smaller room such as a bedroom.
@@PorshaHomeTheater Yeah, I recently bought one. It's nice but my biggest complaint is the operating system. It's overly complicated and it doesn't behave consistently. Really frustrating. The image quality isn't top notch but good enough. Other than that it's a really nice device.
@@markspringfield6112 oh wow...yikes. Ok, that's good to know since I'm in the market for 2 of these later this year...I'll keep an eye on the issue with other owners.
I love this TV (I have the 75") however, the Art Mode software is absolutely terrible. There is practically no way to easily discover art that you would like to display. There is no search feature (other than a listing of artists), that should include keywords, categories, color mood and many other types of breakdowns that should be there when you pay for a subscription. I would also like to create scheduling of images and have other simple features that any normal app designer would think of in a few minutes, But for some reason Samsung has hamstrung the interface. I generally only choose from the curated images for a particular month, since it's almost impossible to find anything good. There are also some amazing You Tube nature type videos that aren't distracting that I like.
Can you use this art mode with an external input. Ie we have a lovely family album that cycles on our 4k Apple TV. I don’t want to look at Samsung crap. I want to look at our “art”. No one can answer this for me, and I would love to know :) is there anything that bugs you about the tv. About to click buy on it.
@ibsn87 u can upload your own family images. There is a website to convert images perfectly suited for the Frame. However, I don't think you could have hdmi input for art mode.
@@Junispro31 thanks. That might help someone else. Personally I didn’t end up getting this TV. It’s got by far the worst actual LCD panel for the price bracket. It’s edge lit not back lit for starters. As a result, it’s quite a dark panel compared to others, (not as good for a bright room…. HOWEVER the Matte finish is a plus that no other TVs have which I do like). The main nail in the coffin for me was Samsungs clunky slow software. And it was trying to sell you things while you use it. Wtf. Although it’s flush on the wall. Too many negatives and a price above some other better featured TVs with far quicker and superior software driving it. Not for me! (I was also informed that Samsung warranty resolutions had been very slow and painful in my area). Cool concept, I just wish it wasn’t Samsung executing it.
My mum wants this tv because normal tv's look ugly to her but the mediocre black levels make me want her to get something better....Surprised someone hasn't done the picture frame thing in OLED or miniLED at least....
@@anuragmeshram4323 Hardware is the best. Only Sony has a better software. LG's UI is on the par. So not many options anyway. At least after 2 years, my TV is a bit more stable. It doesn't loose Samsung's own soundbar as often. Over 2 years, I had to reconnect my soundbar over 10 times along with other issues. Anyway, you will see. The core UI is back to 1990 with just nice graphics on the top.
the 32 inch frame is total bull shit captor dont work and after some time refuse to start my photo mix. Have to reset and restart agains. Frame start without reason in the middle of the night and start child movie. dont understand what happen.
Finally, the review of the Samsung Frame TV 2022 I've been waiting for. Fantastic, thank you.
Intelligent, on point, no fluff.. these are the kinds of reviews I love. Very clever reference to Vincent van Gough’s Sunflowers. Love it
Your dry humor kicks ass. Great review.

Good to know. Does that go for instalation through an in-wall tube, or is it prohibited in any case?

There is. It’s around $300. I’m passing on it for right now

Your review is phenomenal! Thank you
Excellent review. It’s made my mind up to get one. Thank you.
Great review, thank you. We have 55'' one and is fine. And yes, missing shortcut to RUclips o remote control is a (big) mistake.
Great review! Did you have any issues with the ambient light sensor when adding the 4 piece frame? I see some have issues in art mode that it is not dimming enough compared to ambient light level.
You haven’t mentioned the specs like 5G or 2.4g wifi support , chrome cast or Apple mobile screen mirroring support etc
For the 100hz panel you need to buy 55inch and bigger one..does support google assistant?
Great review! Subbed.
Is this painting g in the tv? Or did you add it, the one displayed on the title of the video
It's in the TV, no photoshop 🙂
What size is the tv?
Can you put art mode on an external input. Ie - I want to use Apple TV photo slide show. But in art mode?
Nice presentation and voice. Well done.

just get a regular tv, unless your mounting it on a fireplace. Best to get regular tv, since most regular tvs have better sound.
I got a Q80B the sounds amazing and it looks amazing :)
Excellent review 👍👍
I am looking for a tv that I can change digital *frames *within the screen
In addition to the art. Does this tv do that? Thank you.
Odd comment, but where did you get that sweater? I really like it.
🤣🤣🤣

The other option is a smart monitor.
Best Samsung Frame Tv 2022 model review 👍 it helps me to make up my mind to purchase one. Gratitude from China 🇨🇳
I thought it was illegal to buy south korean products in china
@@barackputin there is no restriction on Korean products at all. The major problem is Korean entertainment in China since THAAD issue.
on samsung website, it shows 50Hz refresh rate, different from what you mentioned.
Just for 32 inches
Is there any risk of burn-in if you leave it on as a painting all the time?
Nope, it is not the type of display (QLED) where this could occur thankfully...

What is size of this TV you reviewed?
65"
When does the 2023 model come out?
DUHHH 🥸 !!!
@@taivo5753 Clearly I meant what month.
JUST KIDDING !!! 😁
Is it possible to swivel the TV?
Not with the mount it comes with. The TV is designed to be a TV that looks like a painting on the wall.

Because OLED have burn in issues, so using OLED for such a purpose is just waiting for disaster to happen
