    I just watched this. Thank you! Thank you!
    I bought the pattern & the template.
    I was not sure how to do it. I’m more of a visual person. I have a lot of Amish color fabric, I can’t wait to start

    Thank you, Julie! Prior to this journey I was petrified of half hexagon, triangles, and diamonds! You have done a terrific job at teaching us the proper use for the rulers and breaking the steps done so they are obtainable. I look forward to Nebula! Thank you again for all that you do for us!

    Thanks Julie! I have learned so much about using rulers, proper alignment and perfect cutting of fabric. I'm glad I am practicing on my least favorite stash fabrics! Just saying.

    Thanks so much for the videos.It is very clear to cut after viewing them.
    Please which rotary cutter do you recommend to lighten the pressure on the wrist ?
    Mine is sickly.

      Some days I have trouble with my wrist when cutting, too. I wear a brace on it when I need to. Still looking for the perfect rotary cutter.

    If I am using the template how much should I cut off the tip of the diamond? 1/8”…1/4”? Thank you

    • @jaybirdquilts
      @jaybirdquilts  3 года назад +1

      If you made a template from the pattern, use the notched corner from the triangle template as a guide for trimming the points from the diamond. It's not a standard measurement but that notched triangle tip will guide you.
