Jaybird, i bought your 2 rulers a few years ago, and even bought your patterns, but didn't do it, due to dyslexia, so i need to have a video to understand better. thank you for all the videos!! that gives so much information clear. thank you, bless!!!
Julie, you are very patient and accurate with your sewing. I aspire to do be as good. I guess it's just practice, practice practice. Because every quilt project is good practice for the next one. Love it! :)
Julie thank you so much for being so detailed in your techniques. So many instructors gloss over the smaller details but you’ve shown every detail. Thank you for going the extra mile to let us see the entire process,. I also am impressed that you give the right amount of instruction without a ton words. Sometimes I get lost in all the talk and don’t “get” the point. You get right to the point without extra verbiage.
I'm going to do the rock candy sal & I've never tried this type of geometric piecing before & was encouraged by a friend to do this starting October 2021. You are so creative & I love this pattern and hope I do it justice! Thanks Julie 😊
You can do it! We've got lots of tips for you and practice is highly encouraged. The more you work with unfamiliar shapes, the more they start to become familiar to you and how to work with them at your machine starts to click.
Yes! Tutorial on how to bind becauase i was just wondering how to do the angles when i got to the end of your video! Thank you! Love your videos and patterns!
I haven't used the "good" fabric for these projects, now I wish I had. They all are really lovely. I will be gifting them and make another with the "good" TP fabric! Can't wait for the big project!
YES! I’d love a binding video too! Thank You Julie! You make all the “scary” 🎃 stuff more manageable with your videos, tips and tricks!! I love the hang pin in the center trick!! 👍🏼❤️

Thank you for this great video.... love your rulers.. you are just so clever!! My sewing friends thinks that I am crazy making this quilt... but it's so easy with your rulers.
I would love a video of how to bind 60° corners! It would be really helpful. Thanks for another great video, I'm so happy I resisted the urge to sew it together right after cutting it.
Julie, Thank you so much for these videos! You are great at explaining things without overcomplicating anything. Very thorough and thoughtful. I'm really really appreciating the series. Will you be continuing videos with Nebula too?
You are so welcome! I'm glad to hear that they have been helpful. There will be monthly Nebula videos and they will refer back to these tutorials that we're doing now. We're covering a lot of ground now so that you'll be ready what's to come with Nebula.
Please share a video tutorial for binding this! I am loving this Journey 2 Nebula series and finally received my patterns, so I am going to try my best to catch up.
Video: Yes, please. In an earlier video you asked for the history of the "hang pin" technique. Don't know who originally came up with the technique, but do know that it has been used in garment sewing since the beginning of time.

Binding video please,
It's available now here on my RUclips channel. Look for the "Binding 120-degree Angles" video.
Can I use the hexi ruler for this pattern?
Rock Candy is made with the Sidekick Ruler. The Hex N More ruler doesn't cut the diamond shapes that the Sidekick does.
Oh no! I just realized I put my triangles to the middle, not the diamonds. Already sandwiched and started quilting so I guess it will stay that way.
What is the name of the Facebook group? I have tried to search for it and cant find the right one
