My pieced diamond is bigger than the band triangle. Should I trim the pieced diamond? Or line up the right edge of pieced diamond to right edge of band triangle? If I line up the right edges, the pieced diamond sticks out 1/8” on the left side. Help!
@@jaybirdquilts is there a way to put the pieced triangle under the ruler and trim? Can you post a closeup of the band triangle laying on the right side of the pieced triangle? I had the band triangle with the blunt edge at the top - I realize now it needs to be on the right side- so I’m trying to determine how all three corners line up. I know I did not stretch any of these seams and my piecing is usually on the money, and I really don’t want to rip all 76 diamonds apart......
I ordered the pillow cases from my local quilt shop. When I asked for the pattern, I was told to go here for the pattern. What gives? I have the material and no pattern. Shame shame shame

It sounds like the seam allowance on the pieced diamond is too scant.

@@jaybirdquilts I took one apart. Reseed with a full 1/4” seam and its perfect
