I store all my projects in scrapbook boxes, too. I usually get the ones with the handles. Then, when I go on retreats, it's easy to "grab and go." I keep any special rulers, the book, the pattern, etc. in the box so it's all together when I need to go or to work on the quilt.
Can't wait to get started! Signed up weeks ago and I have been gathering most of the tools. Waiting on my Super Sidekick ruler and patterns, but they should be to me very soon. Thanks Julie! Hugs!
I must have misunderstood. I thought the videos for Journey to Nebula would be at 10:30 PST on Tuesdays. Please let me know again when I can find your live Journey to Nebula videos will be on. Sorry to hear about your AC. Hope you are all home and comfortable again soon.
Regular Sidekick is my most used ruler. It is the easiest one to work with. The Super Sidekick will cut the larger size shapes that the Sidekick cannot cut. Regular Hex N More is the way to go rather than the Mini Hex N More. The Mini Hex More only cuts the smallest shapes that the Hex N More cuts.
Julie has said that either will work for this project, but that if you don't have a sidekick yet, the super sidekick is good to get because it has more sizes.

When I buy yardage, I get an extra 1/8 yd because I also cut 2 1/2 inch strip off yardage as soon as I get it home and put it in stash

Have had them for a few years now and my go to templates and clips
signed up Saturday Can't wait.
Do you suggest to put the invisigrip on both sides of the rulers because some of the cuts you turn the ruler over

What is the fabric on your table? Love those colors. Thank you so much for doing this. It's going to be so much fun!
The bundles on my table are Tula Pink's True Colors and her Solids collections.

Which is better regular sidekick or super sidekick? Same for hex n more... do we need the big or will the regular work? Thanks

Should we start fabric before starting?
Did you mean starch? I do not recommend starch.
Not sure how to trim these blocks
These blocks should NOT be trimmed. They are designed like a puzzle for everything to fit together without trimming.
do we really need both side kicks? Can I just use the smaller one?
