Just received a few different washing machine motor . Some are f/p and some are lg and the one stamped with westinghouse is identical to the f/p. A random drum i found has a different spline so yet to see what that is but have a few ideas of what i would like to experiment with thought. Defo rewiring one like this though ! Thanks for the know how 👍🏻
It's nice looking project you have going there. I've contemplated running one of these motors with a generic speed controller before but was always dubious about how well it would perform under load. As far as I'm aware, the speed controller has no feed back from the motor and cant adjust for load changes, and may even cause it to desink and switch off. This might be the reason for the motor struggling on startup as the load would be greater on a stationary rotar. Keep us informed, as I really hope this performes well.
So the original series phases winding wont drive by that 12v 30a rc esc? , but modifify phases to pararel make it turn, does by pararelling phases wiring has any disadvantage to the motor?
i just noticed watching your video again that my controller has , HW30A written on it , where as yours has HW40A , but looks identical to yours could this be my problem ??
Hi tinmanpower , I have a question mate , I have rewired my stator exactly the same as yours with the star config , but I have the .08 f&p motor , when I connect my controller the drum doesnt spin it just beeps !!!! I have gone over the wiring 100 times and ordered new controllers , any tips ?? PLEASE....

You mean you can run it with only 12 volts?

Where'd you get the controller?

hi.. Is this finished now ? wheres the outboard ?
He threw his life away for drugs. He scrapped the wires and took what he could
Whats the model number of that Fisher & Paykel motor. Most are Aluminum wire. What is the part numbers for the speed controller?
good job
That's a nice motor. What washing machine is that from? The only washing machine motors I've seen are those universal ac/dc motors.
This one is from a fisher and paykel washing machine.

How to turn the ceiling fan on the battery
Hello! Recently, I also found such a thing. You start 12 volts, I understand correctly?
Try 24v instead of big propeller.😁
His boat isn’t 24v
