      It upsets me too.. I’m reading Gary Taubes ‘s book… he explains back in 1920s when Insulin came into existence doctors were told to just push a high carb diet so people can take insulin…they assumed people would not want to stay on a meat diet… it’s all about profit with the medical profession and big pharma.. I stopped taking medication 25-30 years ago .. I prefer to heal with a healthy diet.

    On the 2 1/2 year old with autism, who is non-verbal: I suggest they try taking the eggs completely out of his diet for at least 30 days, and see if that helps. My autistic daughter reverts to what I call 'broken-record' speech when she has eggs (even duck egg yolks, with no egg white). 30 days should be enough to see a difference, if the eggs are, in fact, a problem.

      @@kymwalters683 Undoubtedly if your son has never eaten eggs, it won't be relevant to him. However, anyone who does eat eggs and who has either mental or physical issues, would be wise to test and see if the eggs might be causing some of their problems. Eggs are one of the two most likely foods for people to be sensitive to (the other is cow dairy). I actually knew this, but we've always had chickens and had lots of eggs, and I was in denial about it, I guess. (Same with dairy, since I've had dairy goats most of my daughter's life -- she's 44, and we got our first goats when she was three.) Then last year we took food sensitivity tests, and my daughter's response to chicken eggs, especially the egg white, was extremely high. So we stopped eating them, and -- much to my surprise -- several of her issues immediately cleared up. Sold the chickens and got some ducks, hoping she might be able to eat their eggs, and eventually (had to wait for the ducks to start laying) discovered that she can't eat duck eggs, either, not even just the yolks, without her symptoms coming back. The most obvious thing that happened was that her speech became much more repetitive -- I call it broken-record speech. But that indicated that the eggs were causing pain, and possibly what we would call brain fog. She does speak, but communicates very poorly and doesn't have normal responses to pain, so it can be really hard to figure out what is going on internally. I am sorry that we have had to give up eggs; we both like them, and they make an easy carnivore meal to fix, but it's worth it for the improvement in her health and behavior.

      You mentioned keto. Try moving him up a step to Carnivore. I have read a lot of testimony where the tweaking of this one thing, going carnivore, and results off the charts. Huge differences.
      Plants are pure toxic. The issue is inflammation in the body.
      The critical point here is eat the fat. Increase amount (usually 70%fat 30%protein) The fat is what sister needs. A lot of animal fat, grass fed butter (has most nutrients but any will do), protein, salt, water. That's it. No seasonings since has plants in them. I am in the same situation as your sister.... autism, epilepsy. But. Her ped neurologist put her on this diet. She's speaking more and more each day. Still on keppra but last seizure was focal. Never even sat down!! A huge change. Ask your sister if she has had the test to find out if they can pinpoint the seizure like Dr Chaffee mentioned. There's technology that sends a quick zap to that one spot. Resets the neurons.
      Best of luck to your family.❤🙏

    Dr Chaffee, I came across some information online that suggests that red meat is inflammatory, and therefore, should be avoided if someone has (idiopathic) small fiber neuropathic pain. However, I remember you mentioning that red meat is not inflammatory and can aid in healing nerve damage. Could you please help me understand this better? Thank you.

    • @Gunter_Severloh
      @Gunter_Severloh 26 дней назад +5

      Nothing in meat to make it inflammatory, what causes inflammation
      is using "vegetable oils" also known as seed oils which is what they really are.
      Seed oils are mainly Omega- 6 fatty acids, they are highly inflammatory, most your red meats will have
      omega 3's which is anti-inflammatory fatty acids, but not all, mostly meats like fish will have the omega3's.
      Your nerve issues will heal eating red meat, as nerves require cholesterol, and fats to be rebuilt, the
      mylon sheaths for the neurons in the brain are all made out of cholesterol, each cell in the body
      requires cholesterol and fat to maintain the cell membrane, you also need fats for creating hormones.
      Try it carnivore will change your life, it has mine!

      Sounds like something someone made up because it sounded good! The ideal pH for the human body is a neutral 7.0, give or take .5 . . . urinary tract infections and bacterial overgrowths can occur if the balance is too alkaline. Stomach acid is normally very high, and will kill most bacteria if it hasn't been diluted by medication.

      How could our natural human diet, meat, be unhealthy for us? We evolved as a species eating meat. That's like saying a lion would be better off on grass or bananas.

    • @SimplyHuman186
      @SimplyHuman186 26 дней назад +3

      Various ph levels in various body parts. Your stomach should be VERY acidic. Your Blood should not. What we eat has little direct influence on blood pH. But for example if we eat tums it will temporarily raise the PH of our stomach but the body will just compensate to try to bring the stomach acid back. This is why apple cider vinegar is great to get a quick fix from acid reflux because we actually needed more acid to digest the food. If we don't have enough acid in the stomach it will cause suffering 😫. Anyways... the body self regulates various parts of the body. If we give the body what it needs such as animal fat and protein it will trigger the to produce or release bile bringing the acidic to its needed level To digest .
      There is a closure muscle in our throat that appears to only close with enough acid. So when we add acid via vinegar or enough fat and protein it will close the sphincter giving relief.

    i see that carnivore is meat, salt, and water. could someone live only off eggs, salt, and water? (or would there be deficiencies)

      Add fish and seafood and you should be good, and maybe a bit of dairy!

      One thing that eggs (and dairy) lacks is Heme iron. A critical micro nutrient that you can only get from meat. And there's likely other things eggs lack as well, like Vitamin A. Eggs only is not okay.

      ? Blood clots . . . the heart does not. Sugar and highly processed vegetable/seed oils are likely far more dangerous for heart health than a normal animal fat.
