i am disabled in a wheelchair, since 1999 i am 36 years old i have been following your channel since july of 2020 being close to 400 pounds a1c of 7.8 from then till june 2023 i lost 200 pounds my a1c was finally under 6.0, we made a huge move from Wisconsin to Texas i fell off the wagon during the move however now i lost 50 more pounds and working on my a1c that went back up now it is going back down. reason why we moved was for my health i couldn't take the cold and being stressed out by my environment, i couldn't move my legs much up north now being here and eating better i am moving so much better i am praying to be able to walk again! i Thank Jesus for leading me to your channel when my main dr in wisconsin was trying to push pills on me when i told her i will eat right she laughed at me and said just take the pills and be happy hun. i prayed for a way to get healthy then i saw your channel.

I just had ultrasound on the joints in my hands, I was referred six months ago when my hands were swollen, red and painful with suspected arthritis. While waiting for test dates, I began keto and l've been carnivore for two months now.
My inflammation has drastically reduced. During the ultrasound, I was asked about my diet. They found one joint with inflammation, and I was told that this is because I was eating TOO MUCH red meat and that I should reduce this. I confidently replied by telling her that I have inflammation in ONLY one joint BECAUSE I've been eating red meat! She responded that red meat causes inflammation, and that I should eat a balanced diet. I asked for the source of her claim, and to explain what a balanced diet is? She didn't know the source, and told me that it's difficult to say what a balanced diet is. You could feel the atmosphere change instantly, despite me being respectful.

"Problem" is, carnivore diet is far less sustainable for food industry, that is why people spread bad information. In carnivore diet- there is no addiction like sugar- sugar is added in almost everything, vegetarian meals too, there is far less variety for food company to make bigger profit, people dont crave or over-eat on plain meat like they do cakes or burgers with lot of additives and excess salt.
Always look who funded those researches, mostly food companies, and they would never fund something they know it will show bad image for them, its already fixed to give people misinformation.

I've been low carb for 2.5 years and starting increasing the meat about 6 months ago. I'm noticing quite quickly when I've eaten something that makes my arthritis hurt. I have been following a Dr. Berry, Chaffee, Shawn Baker, and Steak&Butter Gal for over a year. Even shared info or supporting thoughts to friends and family. Of course, since I had not gone full keto or even carnivore…I am overweight and no one listens. People are not interested unless I succeed first then share.
I have been gradually reducing carbs over past year…and past few months increasing meat in my diet, and crowding out carb foods.
I finally have gone for 2 days with zero carbs, and nothing but meat, water, and some cheese on burger patties made at home.
Dropping carbs is big challenge for me. Last 2 days are only time in my life to go a day without carbs.
My transition is long, cause it is not easy transition for me. But, my slow process is working for me…Thank the Keto leaders.
Best of luck to anyone trying to make this dietary change. I am convinced from the influencers it is a way to improve health and strength.

Like so many others here, eating mostly fatty red meat (almost 5 years now) eliminated gum disease, IBS, acne, excess fat, arthritis, hair loss, reduced BP and so much more! I now get constant complements on my skin, which, after a lifetime of being embarrassed by my acne, still gets me emotional. Whenever I stray and reintroduce any form of processed carbs (like my favourite pizza when eating out with friends) or fibrous veggies (like broccoli), I get arthritis and gut issues again.

Hi Dr Berry - I'm in Cornwall UK and a huge fan of yours. I doubt you'll read this but I thought you may be interested in a short radio play I listened to by the great John Buchan (great novelist). Written in a time when you were allowed to be a patriot and proud of your country of birth. The play is called Sick Silent River and tells the story of a aging lawyer who is given a year to live and decides to go travelling in North America. To cut a long story short he ends up eating nothing but Caribou and blow me if he doesn't get better. Its a brilliant adventure story told as only John Buchan can. Well worth a listen as all his books are. Thank you for all you do. Much appreciated.

Something bad is going to happen to your health if you go Carnivore, from a health " professional's " perspective....you will no longer be a meal ticket for them to write prescriptions for. I started the cleansing Lion diet 3 weeks ago, and have lost 12 lbs, and dropped over 20 points on BP, causing me to safely discontinue all meds. There are a host of other positive health changes no need to go into detail on, and ZERO negative ones. I'm just scratching the surface, and at a starting weight of 287 to have this many changes for the better in 3 weeks, I know I'm on the right path.

@@jond230 The Lion diet is nothing but beef, or meat from any animal with hooves and a chambered stomach, salt, and water/electrolytes. It's a cleansing diet that in about 90 days should clear all the sugar/toxins/crap out of your system and allow you to slowly reintroduce the Carnivore diet which adds bacon, butter, and eggs. Carbs are an absolute no go, as are plants, fruits, nuts, especially SUGAR. The first couple of weeks can be a bit tough which the electrolytes help with. You either go in to this diet committed, or don't go at all. Carbs are something you may try about a year down the road, if you're serious about taking control of your health. Sounds like your body is letting you know carbs are trash.

I did carnivore for 3 months and it was amazing. But then when I hit the 4th month, I started doing long endurance sports like 2 hours walking, and an hour swimming. After a month my body finally could not take it anymore. I had heart palpitation, could not sleep for 2 days, my head felt like I was walking on the cloud. I thought I was going to have a heart attack or stroke, I went to ER and got two tubes of vitamins shots into my body, rest for 3 hours in ER bed, nurse took my EKG. I felt so weak. The EKG result came out and my heart is perfect! My body slowly recovering during those 3 hours. Doctor gave me a few vitamins and some medicines (I forgot the name, but those were for my digestions system). Doctor never told me what I had. She just said I needed to eat balance diet😢 I went home and rest for 2 days. And I felt good again. So my conclusion was I was running out of sugar, and I did long long long hours of endurance training on 99% carnivore diet! I probably have to intervere my diet with occasionally having carbs (like complex carbs or carbs from fruits such as carnivore Paul saladino does ?) if I am doing long endurance sports. Right now I am in a mesa again because after that insident I was forced to get back to normal standard diet (eat lots of carbs and junks food😮). I have now high uric acid on my blood, high LDL cholesterol and sometimes high blood pressure. So, I am going back to be carnivore again but with some adjustment as I love my endurance training.

I’m nearly 70. 25 years ago I was told by a young college girl that the food pyramid was wrong. Hmmm. The internet was new then so, I wasn’t surprised by the lack of information. I had gained weight and consulted a bodybuilder. She told me to eat meat, low carb vegetables and if I was still hungry to eat more meat. I started dropping weight and felt marvelous while never feeling hungry.
Fast forward 25 years. I’m old and all my friends are old. We lived through the pandemic. Gained some weight. But most are struggling to lose weight or are having reactions to foods. I’m shocked at how people cling to the food pyramid. How the recommended diet of the Heart Association or the Diabetes Association are still touting carbs!
AND they have a reaction to foods they blame the protein. Not the oils it was fried in. Not the alcohol they drank. Not the starchy vegetables. The meat gets blamed.

Its more attributed to elimination of sugar, and ultra processed carbs which come packed with lot of artificial additives. Protein is used for muscle, calcium for bones and iron for blood cells, meat has lot of these and these are main elements to go thru day and to give you energy, not enough protein- muscle cant regenerate enough after work or exercise.

I'm a 67 year old male diagnosed with prostate cancer a year ago. Refused all medical advise on how to treat it. Started using a carnivore diet along with 222mg of Fenbendozal daily. I've experienced significant progress with my prostate since doing this. Not cancer free yet, but I'm confident I will be cancer free in the next year. I now pee less, no burning, no spasms, no pain, no inflammation anymore. Carnivore and Fenbendozal is working for me. People need to stop blindly following the advice of traditional medicine and big pharma. There are other ways to treat prostate cancer other than the standard of care being offered by most doctors.

Your indicators of better prostate health are NOT indicative of anything. ZERO. What is your Gleason and differential? How many cores? Pc is the #2 killer of men and many could be prevented. I tracked mine for 3 yrs and was almost symptom free. PC a is VERY individual cancer and as most are ..and one persons “successes” are not any indication of any outcome. @@KevinSignorelli so popular and many people claim to be on it but not reversing diabetes, kidney disease or other chronic illnesses? Because it doesn't work to a measurable degree for alot of people. Lots of whole grains, lectins, oxalates and phthalates, etc. Very inflammatory but no one wants to admit it. Let's face it, no one is canceling their knee replacement surgery on the Mediterranean diet like the carnivores.

It only takes one or two people to lie with confidence and people will just keep repeating it as if it is carved in stone. Remember COVID?

It is the best yes, but he's said on many occasions that if people cannot afford grass fed, then having the usual meat is ok.
