I was 385lbs 10 years ago. Lost about 100 over the years doing martial arts and such. Wasn’t until I started eating carnivore until I really got my proper body weight back. Without lose hanging skin. I’m currently 215lbs. 6’3” 53 years old. Autoimmune disorder that I had for years is now gone no more meds for that. For anyone wondering just start eating meat and eggs in butter with some bacon and you won’t regret it. I now eat some carbs but never eating sugar again. Xylitol is a great substitute but it will disrupt Ketosis.

I’m very interested in your story. I’m about to start carnivore to see how my autoimmune response is. I’ve given myself 10 weeks to see if it makes any difference. I’m due to start the process to begin using humoron mid February and I’m really hoping I see an improvement in my condition before I have to commit to a lifetime of medicine

I was listening to another podcast that said eating red meat increases your risk of diabetes. I answered that red meat does not cause diabetes and my fasting insulin level was 5.2 Someone else answered that per the Harvard School it increases it by 68%. I answered back, I am almost 70, eating red meat all my life and I am still waiting on becoming a diabetic. No more response. 😂

Yup, I tossed out the vegetarian diet the 7th Day Adventist MD brainwashed me into at 30 and the next 45 yrs. A diagnosis of the Autoimmune & Menopause hell with screaming pains of 24/7 AS arthritis. Her predictions: for the rest of your life you will take....Hilariously, that was all I needed to shove the finger in her face and started seeking foods as medicine. From All Greens Patterson diet I ranged to Arthritis Health Canada diet to Autoimmune Health Canada advice...to land on Carnivore, after keto helped somewhat. Now 5 yrs in as carnivore I am almost completely balanced. No pains since I started meats, revised my minds positions and ignorance to face my made up blood phobia/gross feelings to learn how to cook meat best and love my multiple freedoms that eating a Strict Carnivore diet. I love my Meats and fats 60-40 for me; but the Gates- Extinctionist globalists WEF death advice can go straight to hell of their own making.

Hoping for a great result for you! I was diagnosed with IBD 8 months ago. Nothing was working, the steroids stopped the bleeding but all other symptoms continued to get worse. I'm 1 month into a carnivore diet and so far the results are promising. After 3 days I had my first solid poop in like 6 months. Bloating gone, weird gurgling stomach gone, general upset stomach gone. I still have a bit of urgency when I need to poop and occasionally have a small bit of mucus shortly after. Coming from where I was though is night and day in the difference. Still early days and have alot of healing to do but hoping for the best, hoping for the best for you too!

Day 19 added a very small piece of pumpkin and potato to fatty roast lamb and blood sugar came back to normal. 😥

I ate carnivore last year for 7 months. I felt great. Lost 20 lbs. No more skin problems and Seborrheic dermatitis, no more heart burn, no more high blood sugar issues, no more cravings, no more high blood pressure, no more sore joints and walking carefully down the stairs! (I'm 50 yrs old) Then, during halloween season, I ate one piece of chocolate. Come Christmas I gained 15 lbs back and felt sick and tired again. So, I don't want to go off of carnivore again. I've been back on it for 2 and 1/2 weeks again and feeling so much better. I've lost 5 lbs already and I can't believe how much better I feel and look. My face looks like I lost 20 lbs already. I'm definitely a sugar addict and need to keep listening to these videos and reading about the benefits of carnivore to stick with it. They are like my 12 step meetings for sugar! My friend was just diagnosed with cancer at the left base of his tongue. The nutritionist came in with a list of ingredients he can use to make smoothies. The foods were all carbs, sugary fruits, grains, and seeds. Recommendations included low protein, no fats, and fibrous veggies. This is the advice Adventist Health nutrition "experts" are giving to their cancer patients. When I stated that sugars feed cancer cells, she dismissed it as being without basis. My husband and I have been on a mostly carnivore diet for 3 months now. We do eat a small amount of garlic, onions, and avocado. The benefits are impressive. High energy, restful sleep, enhanced mental focus, almost no joint pain, skin improvements, weight loss, good mental state.
My husband no longer has acid reflux and doesn't need to take his medication. I usually have asthma attacks every day in the winter. I haven't had even one for more than 2 months now. I haven't had to use my light box for my seasonal affective disorder. I'm 76 and the only medication I am taking is pig thyroid. Our food bill has gone down because we don't purchase any processed food and don't eat snacks. We eat two meals a day and IF from 6 PM to 10 am. No cravings.
We said we would try it for 3 months. With all the benefits we have experienced so far we won't stop now. We are grateful to have come across the proper human diet.❤

2 plus years carnivore now. Decided to go strict lion diet for the month of January. 17 days in now, and feeling amazing! I have had my labs checked every 6 months for the last 2 years, and its amazing to me that they just keep getting better and better! I reversed type 2, high blood pressure, fatty liver, low testosterone, autoimmune issues, and came off of all medications. My cholesterol actually came down. Which was weird to me. But I know it can have the opposite effect on some. I think the reason is because carnivore meets us where the person is in relation to how much damage we have done to ourselves individually. Which is why some of us loose weight faster than others, and why labs can vary to some degree. I use to not be able to walk more than 2k steps in a day, and it was extremely painful to do it. I would have to use mobility scooters to get around with my family when we would go to places like Disney. I can now walk upwards of 30k steps in a day, and I am fine. I will be 50 years old in July of this year, and am going to Q school for the PGA to play professional golf! Finding YT videos like these with Dr. Berry, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Baker, talking about Carnivore, no doubt about it SAVED MY LIFE! and a little side note... It also saved my mothers life. She was stage 4 CKD, and now after a little more than a year, has kidney function in the 90% range verified by nephrologist and labs. She was either going to need a kidney transplant/ dialysis or die due to kidney failure. But took a chance on the diet that I was talking to her so much about, and had helped me. Shes now healthier than she has been in a long time. Meat heals.

But after 2 years of Carnivore it dropped to 275, which was amazing to me since I ate pounds of meat & fat. My body had a ton of healing it needed to go through. Perhaps not anymore but I strongly suspect because I've seen it numerous times that carnivore dieters were previously on the SAD diet and no great surprise that when they cut out processed junk they solve some of their health issues. It's really no surprise because what you were eating before was so shit, lol and my original comment was directed to the op, not you but it works on 90% of you people as you've already admitted to eating SAD.

No bc I only eat 2 meals/day and I don't buy snack food. If you calculate cost per pound of cookies, chips, etc., they cost more price wise and health wise. No longer needing meds have saved me $120/month, which I now use to buy meat. No longer needing deodorant, expensive dental paraphernalia, and expensive lotions & potions to mask acne and other skin conditions have saved me a small fortune. That savings goes to my meat. I don't buy bottled beverages anymore. I no longer patronize restaurants so that money goes toward my meat. I shop sales, buy in bulk, and cut my own meat. I've learned how to cook cheaper cuts of meat so I don't feel a need to eat ribeye or other expensive steaks for every meal. It's entirely doable.

Hey Dr. Berry, just a quick note to thank you for all of your hard work in helping people out. I've put your advise into practice and am amazed at the results. I'm 5'7" and went from 235 lbs down to 212 lbs in less than a month. I'm primarily eating a carnivore diet with the occasional avocado or glob of peanut butter (I love peanut butter). I have transitioned to eating only once a day, and the transformation in how I feel is remarkable. Here are some of the improvements I've experienced in such a short span of time: significant weight loss, a notable reduction in joint pain, liberation from depression and anxiety, no more sleep apnea, a surge in energy levels, clearer skin, a substantial drop in blood sugar levels from an average of 14 to around 5, a gradual decrease in blood pressure, a shift from constant overheating to minimal sweating, and heightened mental clarity. You saved my life. Three weeks ago I had heart problems - extrasistoles, arrhytmia, my heart was pounding like a drum, skipping, for entire days. I ended up in the ER, since then I've done a blood panel, thyroid full panel and a heart ultrasound, EKG and carrotid doppler. I've started carnivore last April and due to some very stressful times (death in family, new job) I slipped some, but managed to go down 45 pounds. The heart problems were conclusively of mental stress origin, but the doctor said losing that weight and getting my organism in a better state probably made this 10x less of a problem for the entire body. My heart is strong and all parameters in order.
My LDL is in the upper normal range, HDL higher than before, triglyicerides almost non existent, blood sugar and insulin normal, electrolites normal, blood pressure 126/82, resting heart beat 65, no plaque whatsoever in the carrotids........ thyroid T4/T3/TSH/peroxidase/anti-G all normal... liver hormones all good except for GGT, which is also down from what it was (fatty liver)... No anemia! Been anemic for most of my life. They all wondered how an overweight person such as me (used to be 260 pounds), at 42, has better bloodwork and hormones than someone 20 years younger.
If I'd been the way I was it might not have gone this well for me. Thank you!
I'm back on track, doing great and one of the most incredible things I've experienced is NO MORE CONSTANT DAILY HEADACHES and much better sleep. Those things were killing me. Constant painkillers and exhaustion from not sleeping well. You start to notices things getting better in the first few weeks you didn't even know were bad, cause they've been so bad you forgot about it.
I eat grass fed beef, some port, bacon, eggs, fresh fatty fish, ghee, pork fat, tallow, ocassionally some hard ripe cheese and homemade kefir, long fermented.

Pulse has dropped from 80-95 to high 60’s. Bad knees have improved immensely. I was skeptical, now I’m amazed. For me variety is paramount. I eat eggs hard boiled, fried and made a pizza crust from an egg and coconut flour etc. meats have included hard salami, liver sausage, chuck roast beef stew, steak etc. Because of the variety I believe that I can do this long term. I just want to say thank you for putting out these videos. Your plain and simple explanations and no-nonsense delivery are really very much appreciated and you have helped me so much on my road back to regaining my health. Which is why I thought I would share my journey with you and anyone else who might be interested enough to read.
For so many years I followed the recommended " Standard Western Diet" based on the Food Pyramid that the health department put out there. Which was largely based on research that was funded by the U.S. sugar, grain growers and other farming organizations.
During that time my health slowly deteriorated to the point where I had gained so much weight, had difficulty moving around and ended up having a mini stroke, which has messed up my balance and vision.
This time last year I was 130kg, pre diabetic, had high blood pressure, underactive thyroid, psoriasis, sciatica, fatty liver and inflammation.
On December 1st 2022, my 65th birthday, I cut out all sugar, grains, seed oils and alcohol.
I switched to the carnivore diet. Following your recommendations, I now only eat meat, fish, eggs and other unprocessed animal products such as liver, kidneys, hearts, and giblets etc.
Apart from onion, garlic and a few spices for flavouring, I do not eat any fruit or vegetables at all. I don't count calories and eat as much as I want, (usually around 1 - 1.5kg) until I have had enough. When my brain says I've had enough I stop eating and only eat again when I feel hungry. As it has turned out for me, I only eat once a day, during a one-hour window around midday and I no longer have any cravings for snacks in between.
As of this morning I am now down to 94kg, which is a loss of 36kg and all of the above conditions are gone. I feel more like I did when I was in my 30's and 40's, my bloodwork and blood pressure are pretty well spot on and I now enjoy getting out and about, going for long walks, a bit of fishing and other activities. My balance and vision issues are still there from the stroke but I am able to cope with that well enough.
Thanks once again for all your advice toward regaining a better life. I wish everyone all the very best of luck in finding their own way to better health and a longer life.
    Kindest regards to everyone.

Thank you so much Dr Berry! I have been diving down the rabbit hole so to speak for about 10 months now, watching you and others and using self education as a tool to keep my mind right as a first defense in my detox from life long sugar addiction. I'm 61 F, and so it has been disheartening to watch the super athletic males who become superman and heal everything overnight so to speak; however your videos and others have sustained me thru a slow journey to regain/ repair my health and sustain it as I enter the aging process of the decade of my 60's. In 7 months I have lost 20 lbs, have achieved sustainable energy and have experienced food 'sanity' for the 1st time in my life. My hope is that this PHD will protect my eyes and teeth as I age. I am now going thru a strange mourning phase. I miss the exitotoxins in junk food and the entertainment value of variety. But when I succumb to euphoric recall I find the 1st few bites thrilling and then meh as the reality of the knowledge that I'm eating detrimental poison for a cheap thrill occurs. Of course, being human, I wish to have it all. I am attempting to fill the gap w new activities ( hiking) and exploring new places to physically experience the wonder of life, matching my new mental information. I am actually living more now, rather than eating more. I've escaped the little box of comfort/ pleasure that the world suggests as the goal of existence, and literally stretched my legs to go discover new things! So my point is that when I find myself bored w the PHD, I think it's because life is supposed to b exciting rather than food. I think food addiction masks our very zest for life and is perhaps the biggest danger of all! This is how life should b, and I am very grateful 🙏

Hello from Durban, South Africa. I was T2 for almost 9 years. Had a high blood sugar and high cholesterol issue in July last year. Felt like I was going to die. From next day, went on Keto. Found Dr Berry on RUclips and after 2 weeks, switched to carnivore. Stopped taking metformin.
A1c is now down to 5.8 from 12.6 Everything seems to be far better than before, besides the gout pain in my toe.
Perhaps I am missing something. Although, there is a significant improvement in what seemed to be arthritis. No more joints aching when I'm climbing the stairs.
Thank you, Dr Berry. I owe it to you and God Bless.

I’m starting on March 1 this coming Friday. I have had Hashimotos for 31yrs. I have been over 240 lbs since then due to following medical “advice”. I tried Keto once and loved it but did not know about electrolytes and had to quit. Now I am in a wheelchair due to arthritis in my right hip. Plus a few other issues. It’s do or die this time. I’m 64 yo and too young to give up. On Friday I check into a hotel w/full kitchen while my kitchen is being renovated. I am not bringing any carbs with me. So I am determined to get it right this time.

I am a 16 year old boy, I was, at my fittest, 155 lbs lean and muscular during wrestling season last year, gained some weight after to 170 which is kinda normal after season so I’m still healthy at 170, but I broke both my arms in a lifting accident, and gained 35 lbs because I couldn’t do anything and was steal eating the American diet ish, then once I was healed I was 205 lbs and feeling sluggish and terrible, lasted for a while and tried to fix it but cutting calories did nothing and was just discouraging, then, after visiting a friend, he told me about carnivore from Joe Rogan and asked me to look into it cause he saw I got fat. I did, tbh I was really skeptical, but tried it, I’m not gonna lie, the first two weeks were really hard and discouraging, diarrhea, headaches, cravings, hunger, but… getting past it was amazing, my skin is cleared up, sleep is nicer, I no longer crave sugar, only meat, I’ve lost almost 18 damn lbs in 4 1/2 weeks after starting, and have clarity of mind. I feel healthier then ever, my plan is to eat like this preferably for ever, and this is, tbh, how all humans should try to eat, I have strayed from it every once in a while but always get on track and it isn’t too damaging, but overall, it is amazing.

I decided to give it a chance and started keto (15g carb) this month before going 100% carnivore next month. I’ve noticed weight gain so far because I don't have too much weight to lose and my body is clearly enjoying and asking for more fat. And even though I’m gaining weight, I’ll give what my body is asking until I get fat-adapted and start losing weight. I always did a low-fat diet, so I think it makes sense to gain weight since my body is adapting to receive and process so much fat out of the blue. I already feel all the benefits. :)

@@warrior7787 Oh no! Remember you can have fish, chicken, eggs, butter. Also, you can eat a ketogenic or ketovore diet and still reap the benefits.
Dr. Berry describes a ketogenic diet as covering half your plate with meat and animal products, and half your plate with low-glycemic vegetables.
That may really help with your boredom.

@@warrior7787 Allow yourself to have some low glycemic vegetables or fruits. I'm the same, but something as simple as olives or strawberries helps break the monotonous.

when I was carnivore, I was healthy. Before carnivore, I had PCOS, I was borderline Diabetic. I had bad body odor, I had athletes food that would not go away. I didn't ovulate on my own, I had to take clomid to get pregnant with my daughters. I did carnivore for 3 months. I lost 65 pounds over 100 inches off my body. My PCOS was gone. I ovulated on my own and got pregnant with my son. I had A1C of 4.0. My body odor was gone, My feet healed up. I got pregnant and meat and eggs made me so sick. So I had to go back to eating fruit veggies etc. I am now going to go back to carnivore and hope to get back to being healthy. and maybe have one more baby. I just turned 40 years old. My son is 18 months old.

I am going on a carnivore diet. I worked in a doctors office where everyone is overweight. Mega carbs on lunchroom table. Struggle to keep weight off. Currently 190 pound, female, 68 and so tired and lazy feeling. I love meat and have always been told, especially by the docs I worked for, "Dont eat to much meat, you will get a heart attack. I never believed them but did take up eating a lot of carbs, bread, oatmeal.

I used to smoke. Then I substituted chips and crackers after I quit because I needed to be consuming something all the time. But now I'm on carnivore and don't feel the need for junk food anymore. I still sometimes eat compulsivly, but it doesn't make me fat. I'm actually losing weight and have more energy.
And it's all because of Dr. Berry. I'm not shilling, it's the truth. By the way I'm 75.

Thank you Dr. Berry for this life changing information. I've been obese to morbidly obese since 5th grade. I'm 64 now. I haven't been to a traditional so called doctor for 4 years other than my DOT physical because of the crap he was spewing. He never asked me what I ate but told me to switch everything white for brown (rice, potatoes etc). I hadn't eaten those things for years. The highest I had been in his office was 328 but at 283 he told me I should consider bariatric surgery. (That’s what his computer screen was telling him) and.... we were going on statins as a preventative measure. I have not been back.
I started your lifestyle change on January 29, 2024 at 306. LOVE it!! Most of my knee and leg pain is gone. My energy level is fantastic!! Get home from work after a 12 hour day and still am able to get household and farm chores done. Today, 3/16/24 I'm at 288😮
This is totally a way of life that is fantastic!

Hi Doctor. Many thanks for all your videos and reference information. I went carnivore in June 2023 and I've lost 50lbs and I'm now exercising well. I caught another one of your videos where you talked about insulin resistance and on reflection I definitely had the signs of it. Now those signs have vanished. So thank you, you're a good man!

I was strict WFPB (vegan) for 7 years and the past year was awful. Constantly hungry, bloated, gassy, and my hormones were making me such a mental mess 😢 I did a complete flip by switching to carnivore 7 months ago and I have never felt better! I’m full and content (never felt that before!), all other symptoms are gone, mental health is improved and no money spent on expensive hormone tests. I’m 63 and my joints are great, had 2 total knee replacements while vegan and they’re feeling great. My strength is awesome, weight issues gone, BF% all time low and skeletal muscle mass great!
My plan was a 3 day trial, but the results were so immediate I couldn’t stop. You are my main source of information Dr Berry and I thank you for what you do!!

as a healthy 27 year old id like to share my experience with the carnivore diet. i did 6 weeks as an experiment. the first 2 weeks sorta sucked. After that, i noticed i started to sleep better at night, i was waking up early for work, as opposed to waiting until the last second to get up and i had more energy/felt more positive through the day. I enjoyed vegetables and fruit too much to maintain this diet. When i quit, i noticed the biggest effects. I realized that sugary sweets would absolutely wreck me. It would cause inflammation and back/joint pain. Too much junk food gives me stomach problems. prior to trying carnivore, i always had arthritis like joint pain. sometimes, so bad it would keep me up at night. Now I know what was causing it, and i notice the way different foods affect me in a negative way (mostly processed sugar). Anyways, if anyone is considering carnivore "just because," absolutely give it a go and see if you learn anything about the way specific foods affect you

I’ll keep this super simple, I started carnivore Dec 1st and only cheated Christmas Day. To date I’ve gone from 89.8kgs to 80.7kgs and I can honestly say feel like my younger self. Better recuperation when sleeping, more energy and the cravings leading to snacking have gone. Just do it I say.
