Greetings from Canada. Riley is correct. This looks a lot like many regions in Canada including my favourite area of Ontario called the Algonquin Park region.
Yes it does. In fact, some of the eastern shore of Georgian Bay, thru the Muskokas although I think Riley would find the $1M cottages a bit pretentious.
Lenny, when your wife, or daughter is going through these comments in about 40 yrs hence....remind yourself, your parents are/were old school legends mate
There's an old saying: A parent cannot wait for their first child to walk and talk, but once they can, the parent just wants them to sit still and stop talking.
Lennie is adorable. He reminds me of my oldest son(now 30 with his daughter and the 2nd is on the way. My son was blonde like Lennie. My God where did all of those years go??? Enjoy every moment. It goes buy so quick!!! Bless you guys!!
Hey, I just wanted to say my husband and I have been watching your vlog for years. You are amazing parents raising Lenny on your boat. Your lives are admirable. We’ve thoroughly loved the development of your relationship into a family. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us. It’s truly been a blessing to see you as you’ve grown and matured into a wonderful loving parental unit. Keep being amazing! Lots of love ❤️ John and Lisa ( and our kids from Saskatchewan Canada)
If I remember correctly, Riley also wasn't that interested in vlogging for you tube and that turned out pretty good....might wanna get on board with the swim wear.
Hello from New Zealand in lockdown. At home for a month. So I went back and started watching you from episode 1 again, which I love watching. Your channel was the first sailing channel I came across when i was recovering from a stroke. I'm 57 now and hadn't sailed since, I was a teenager. I was so inspired by the both of you that I started sailing again. I now have a number of sailing qualifications and as much as possible charter yachts and sail the Bay of Islands. Hope to see you back in NZ 1 day. Take care and be safe.
During our isolation I discovered your program my whole family can’t stop watching you guys we are on episode 146 love you guys just want to buy a yacht and travel. Keep safe over this isolation period
Yes Very Canadian, I live in Quebec Canada and I've been with you guys for 5 plus years. You guys are wonderful and keep loving each other. God bless the three of you. xxx
That was relaxing, but can’t wait to catch up to more recent content, just to see how the growly Lennymonster has grown. Tantalising glimpses not enough. Take care of him and take care of you. Hugs from Oz, where the situation is relatively under control. Tight restrictions, low rates of transmission and relatively few casualties. A safe harbour right now. ❤️🥰🐨
GOD I needed that...feeling so cooped up. E and L looked amazing in the sunset light. And ya gotta love Lennon’s lumberjack shirt- just like papa’s.Also, I’ve noticed your eyes closed when thinking / formulating for years- its in many eps. Never considered it a character flaw or negative in any way. Lots of dudes do that. No big. Tell your buddies that when they’re done chasing and achieving their dreams and have 1.4M RUclips followers then we can chat.✌️❤️🤙UM
Chris_London Fair enough. I was just trying to make a point. Didn’t mean any offense. And , no sir, I’ve never been. It’s on my list and I reckon when I get there I’ll make an effort not to piss anyone off with my comments. ✌️& ❤️
Canada has just about all the vista's you can imagine! Although on the west coast it's hard to get any as flat as that without snowcapped peaks in the background!
So, it begins... It takes a lot of energy to chase a toddler around on dry land. Add to it a marine environment. I recommend putting locks high up on any doors to the outside. Toddlers are like ninjas. Two twins helped each other push a chair to the front door, and unlock it. Then they escaped to the outside at 3 a.m. into a frigid snowy night. They were found hours later barely alive. That was here where I live. I used that information to make to test what I thought was safe to protect my own son. More power man. Love you guys. Love Lenon.
Hello from the middle of the states:Missouri Not a sailing family but love following your adventures and watching how you do life on the ocean. Living our dreams through you videos. Love watching Lenny, stay safe out there!!!❤️❤️❤️
A FANS REQUEST: Awesome work guys, any possibility of a 'Riley's 30 second book review' ? Love your reading list matey, some heavy titles there that we would love you to share some thoughts on if you're up for it. Cheers from the Kenyan coast.
Canadian here...you are correct that area looks just like the Muskokas in Sept just north of Toronto. Thank you for the videos...we enjoy them so much. Stay well.
Thank you Guys for sharing. I have been going through a rough time after loosing my wife back in July. Since I have been struggling but making progress. Your videos are something that brightens my dark days. And Lenny is the coolest!
Hello from Denmark. You guys have no idea how much I enjoy watching your videos during these times. Right now, I sadly cannot go down to our wooden sailboat (pilot boat from 1898) because of this horrible, horrible virus. But watching your guys' videos just gives me and my family some of the joy of sailing back. Keep up the great work. We hope you guys are safe during these days. :)
It's more Canadian than you think... That mud on the anchor chain is the true Canadian west coast sailing experience 👌. Cheers guys, all the best from Canada!
I'm glad you keep it real and show Lenny fusing as parents we know they all do it,.... it's the price you pay for the priceless joy children bring to life.
Yes it looks very much like parts of Canada in the fall. We live on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. You must come this way and surf Tofino!!! Cheers and stay safe!
Oh La Vaga... thank you for posting videos when we need them most. We have been in the yard for a month and a half getting delayed by weather and now the virus. It has been a trying time for us, but we are keeping our eyes on the prize as we focus on the outcome of our hard work. Cheers and fair winds
Still catching up on old episodes. Found this one a real gem. The Chesapeake is stunning (reminds me of a summer I spent there during college). So many laughs, like the extended shot of Riley hanging up the muddy tea towel, generous growls and general Lenny humor, and a sweet spot for a hammock. Way to go, and Thanks!
I am still in total isolation...but on Saturday I get to go into isolation and social distancing. Thanks so much for this video it is a lifeline to the outside world. This does look like the east coast of Canada, however the west coast is much more rugged and the scenery is stunning. Please stay safe and healthy. I hope you are far away from danger.
I am a lifelong Marylander! Thanks for coming to visit my beautiful state! I hope you enjoyed your visit! We are known as America in miniature. I am so proud to be a Marylander!
First time back to this channel after a long time off. Damm I’ve missed a lot😂 now I have to start at the beginning and watch them all. At least nothing else is going on right now!
My father, who was an incredibly brilliant man , always closed his eyes when saying something profound. You, Riley are brilliant! Thanks for the memories!
I’m from Annapolis, Maryland but currently in Australia living in Byron bay in Quarantine. We have switched temporarily and I’m a bit homesick so feels so good seeing all my familiar places in your videos!
8:17 Yeah thats pretty much what a typical Canadian bay would look like. especially on the east coast (Nova Scotia and New Brunswick). As told by a Canadian! Also you guys should come visit us!
Enjoying the flash backs. (Thanks for putting out the Atlantic crossing first so we didn't have to wait for it.) So much good footage. Love that Lenny! Cupboard toys are universal in toddler land, evidently. Brilliant shot from inside the cupboard, by the way.
Awesome seeing you all sailing on our home waters! Our home port is on a creek just off that river you anchored with the islands. It's a beautiful anchorage to have so close to home. Yes, the bottom sure is muddy and we wash down the anchor when we bring it up to minimize the mess. Fair winds and stay well!
Hey there! I will personally send you a new, upgraded hammock if we can see you cut the current one just after Riley drifts off to sleep in it over the water! Haha! Love your vids! Kim
Finished watching your videos from EP. 111 to 240, I will now start watching from the very beginning while waiting for new upload. More of Lenny please! We need more of his contagious smile in moments (home quarantine) like this. ❤❤❤
yes i am canadian and it looks very similar to how our trees look in the fall! i’m live in new brunswick (beside maine) and it’s very similar to the rivers here :)
Here we go again xD you just made me stay up an extra 20 mins before i need to get up for work at 6am today ahahaha it is now 12:15 am and I still haven't watched the vid😂 Couldn't imagine anything better to watch before sleeping though :)
Marvelous video, marvelous content, marvelous people and family, marvelous footage, marvelous smiles and jokes! MY GOD, you bring peace and joy to our hearts! Big hug from your Brazilian fans
This is me, finally caught up with 4 years of videos which I've been binging for the past 6 weeks or so. Probably 100 hours of content and I've had a massive smile the entire time. These videos really do perk me up. Thanks guys.
Lenny, the darling boy, is at the age where he needs more room just to move about with out being stopped every few feet. It's a dilemma living in such a confined space. Good luck, mom and dad. It's gonna get harder.
it will be just fine. he gets off the boat on a regular basis. no different then the millions of americans cramed into the tiny apartments in new york. or no different then other countries who have a one room tiny square as a home for 5.
I agree with Vicki, depending on their course, the time spent off-boat could be greatly reduced. Little Lenny needs to run, freely without a hand constantly having to hold onto him. This couple has a sweet plan in sailing, but Lenny doesn't seem content to me. Not trying to discourage Elayna or Riley, but as an onlooker that little guy looks like he is in dire need of "freedom in space." Spoken in love, as a mama of 2 who loves "littles".
Lenny will see and do more in the next couple years than most people, kids or adults will do in their whole life. In a couple months he will be swimming and have a whole ocean to roam around in and explore, particularly underwater. Most land lubbers babies and small children spend their time in a stroller, in their mothers arms, within eyesight to guard from strangers and danger. Lenny is as free as they are and can be tethered until he is taught the dangers of boat life just like land lubbers are taught dangers of traffic, stove burners and other life dangers.
@@cyndiwest3720 are you watching the same show? Because he is the happiest baby i have ever seen. And im a mom of 2 with a history of caring for 10 babies from other families. He is just fine. Stop trying to push your worry on them.
I have often been told you can tell how good a sailor is by the quality and quantity of knots he has mastered...It's now official.....Riley IS a good sailor!!! (like there was ever any doubt!!!)
I'm loving these last few episodes. I was born and raised on the Delmarva peninsula but I have not been back for awhile. I miss the water and the crabs.
More pine trees in Canada. Similar though and yet slightly off. Also, Riley, Elayna changed her life to live your Dream and in fact got the deal with Outremer so you could continue to do what YOU love. So how about learning that’s it’s not all about you. This is the attitude that makes it difficult to watch this channel. Elayna is the reason that this channel is so successful so man up and be supportive of what Elayna needs to feel self worth and happiness.
Great vlog as usual guys. I still marvel at how comfortable and real you two are in front of the lens. Beyond that.... Lenny's fascination with that cabinet cracks me up! Hope you 3 are somewhere safe.
