We welcome back some friends to La Vaga and we're making the most of it. We go full-engineer mode on-board in preparation for our future westwards journeys and attempt the impossible task of proofing the boat for an increasingly mobile and active Lenny. We have no idea where he picks up his adventurous streak from -- any guesses?

It will give Lenny something to do when he wakes up. Our son always got out. I hate to be this person but he could get wound up in it when he tries to escape.

I get the fun of it. But since they are rescuing kids in cages...dont be surprised by comments. I would rather know he is safe.
It is so nice to see that everyone that comes on the boat is either playing or holding Lenny. It was nice to see Elayna singing again. It is quite evident that Andre loves being a part of the crew.
Y'all have had many capable, lovable crew memebers aboard over the years. But, André might be our favorite. And, now Phillipa... These two are super adorbs!!!

Andre is a smooth operator. He keeps it low key about his girlfriend. Elayna was like: "how long have you guys been together?" Reply: "three years." Elayna: " Gulp"

Hey, if that netting is nylon you should be able to heat the ends (with a lighter or heat gun) and melt the ends so that you get get the integrity back. Have done that with a few lines on the boat and netting before.

Peculator tips:
- Use boiling water in the base instead of starting from cold, use a tea towel to assemble
- Don't pack the coffee down, leave it pretty loose (unlike an espresso machine)
- Clean it thoroughly before using it, old coffee can add bad flavours
- Take it off the heat as soon as you hear it start to sputter

Love the Martha Wainwright cover, beautiful rendition! Watched her live when she was a support act and the people in front of us where taking the piss out of her, then she sang that song. And we sang it tooo very loudly! The people in front shut up quickly and Martha heard us and grinned!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ A cathartic song.

When I was 2 years old..We Live in Anaheim California...this was back in the 60s...My Parents Could not keep me in anything..they chain locked the Fridge and I got in, they Covered my crib Locked it down Locked the windows and I Got Out one Morning and started to walk down the Sidewalk Toward Disneyland...Our Neighbor Drove by and saw me....Turned around came and Picked me up took me back home and had to knock on the door and wake my parents up...it was EARLY in the morning and I wanted out....GOOD Luck with Lenny as he gets More Inquisitive in life especially NOW days...THANKS for Sharing your World

Seal up the synthetic netting with by burning it to melt it solid, kind of like para cord.
you can also use crazy glue on the part you are about to cut. Just dribble it on , wait a bit and cut it in the middle of the "dribbled " part.

One other way is to cut it with friction, sawing it off with a thin nylon string.

My daughter is now 41 and my wife and I did the "cage" back in 82/3ish for her crib. I was the only solution back then!. Until you shared I never admitted that was what it was. Thank God for owning up to it. Good for you...

Oh Lenny just nails the camera. Saw your very honest and touching vid from 10 months ago when doubts and fears were expressed. They happen on land as well unfortunately but having loved ones can make it easier to bounce back. Thanks for hours of great viewing⛵️👍🐟
Parenting is hard enough on land. The thought of doing it on a boat had to be extremely more difficult and you both do it so wonderfully well. Lenny’s got the best mum and dad. A fabulous sense of humor will get you through it all. Also love the background music this week. Thanks guys

So I’ve been watching you now for about a year or so and I have to tell you guys I have the utmost respect for you and your lifestyle and your family. You and Riley work very hard and though you’re sailing around the world still the amount of work you put in to it is monumental and paramount for that matter. But I'm sure not as gentle and loving as Andre... My tortoise LOVES it when I play the guitar and sing for him. He always pokes his head out of his shell and comes walking right over to me and listens to me play. 😂

There’s a huge difference between locking your kid in a cage all day or just keeping them safe while you are sleeping!! When my son was 2 he climbed out of his crib in the middle of the night and was able to unlock sliding door went outside to the road but thank god our dog followed him out there and would not let him go in road and barked until we woke up!! Scariest moment of our lives!!! Your doing what’s best for your child!!

I generally watch RUclips on 2X speed because many of the videos are generally too slow for my tatse.
SLV is the ONLY channel that I watch on regular 1X speed because the vibe is just so awesome and it gives me the feels.

Anybody who is quacking about Lennny's "cage " has never had a toddler. At 1 1/2 yrs kids become escape artists. We've raised 6 babies. My mom referred to my home as Little Alcatraz because of having 3 toddlers "in custody "🥳

Naturally...some episodes are more interesting than others. But each and every episode have one “essential” thing in common!!! And that is your “genuine human interaction” with each other. And to me this episode is an good example of one of those instances.
