Wow, this is one of the best Cricut videos I've ever watched! You did such a great job explaining each project thoroughly. Will def be coming back to watch again a few more times when I'm ready to move onto fabric - newbie here.
I love you channel I broke my Cricut knife blade yesterday cutting Basswood 🤦🏽♀️ don't know how but enjoyed this I love tea towels tfs always explaining well
To be honest, this is the first video I have watched all the through. I am SO excited now and am ready to get started on my tea towels. Thank you very much.
This video truly broke down the transfer process into helpful steps to determine how to choose between the design methods as well as very easily understood steps of how to complete each. This wonderfully useful info is exactly why I’ve subscribed!
These are great ideas. I like that infusible ink will last much longer than vinyl, however I think it is tough to weed and or take off the liner. When I use it the infusible tears leaving the back of it on the carrier sheet. Thx
Hi Angie - Great video and instruction. I won a Cricut machine last year and for Mom's Day my hubby bought me an Easy Press, so I am getting ready to go hog wild. Thanks for sharing and continued success. Love PegEgg
I just picked up some tea towels at Walmart to put designs on them. Thank you for the many methods to achieve beautiful tea towels. My only question is why do you peel the stencil while the paint is still wet?
Very informative video! Which method should I use for 100% cotton flour sack fabric. I will be selling the towels and want to make sure the ink or vinyl will not wash out or come off.
Angie thank you so much. You have given me some many ideas for our holiday gift baskets. Instead of buying I will just make things. I want to make throw pillow coverings for my grandson bed can I use infusible ink and also fabric paint?
Hi Angie I love ur videos all of them are so helpful. Thank u can u tell me what is the brand of fabric paint that u use please. I wanna try and make some tea towels soon. Thank u ☺️
LOVE the information your shared. One question, do you have any issues with the fabric paint bleeding to the back side? If so, do you have any suggestions to prevent that.
This was a great and informative video..I enjoy all your videos...thanks for taking the time to explain these processes...I am trying to do some towels and was a little discouraged about it, but I think your tips will help tremendously...
They were from like 4 different sources! My favorites are from WalMart and I don't even think they sell them online. They are a bulk pack in the kitchen towel section.
Hi first I love you videos there awesome. I am looking for advice, I have tried the other tea towel methods and wonderful. Now I am trying the freezer paper but when I cut it the paper rips, I have it set to freezer paper and the pressure to less do you have any other suggestions?
Infusible Ink would probably last longer overall but it lasts for the life of the garment. I have some stenciled tea towels that I have had for years and they still look good.
Hi, Angie! I pulled this video up because I want to do towels, but am curious if you would provide the name of the cotton towels and the measurements of each towel that you get from Walmart. Thanks!
Great tutorial!! Thanks so much! I do have a question....as far as durability, which type is best? Will the iron on, infusible ink or paint last the longest?
Love watching your tutorials. Did you get any bleeding when using the fabric paint? Every time I have tried it doesn’t look as good as yours. Any recommendations?
I got a little bleeding on the second one but otherwise nothing. I would say the secret would be to get VERY little paint on the brush. So dip in the paint and get most of it off before starting on your stencil. Just go over the area several times instead to get the coverage you are looking for. Also a brush like these where I use an up and down motion is helpful. If you use a brush from side to side, you can also get more bleeding.
I absolutely love your channel. I purchased a lot of Deco paint a while back and wanted to know can I use that paint for my t-shirts and towel projects?
These are sweet! I am new to all of this. I have a handwritten recipe from a long-passed family member. Is there a way to transfer that onto a piece of fabric or tea towel? Ideas and search suggestions welcomed. You're a great teacher, by the way. Also, this may be a question with an obvious answer, but I am new so will ask anyway. What is the difference in the stencils between freezer paper versus vinyl?
You can take a picture and upload the recipe to Design Space. It may take some time to clean it up enough to cut. Then you could do the HTV or the stenciling methods with it I would think! I don't think there is a difference between the stencil methods other than preference. I actually prefer the freezer paper but sometimes people can't find it or they want to use what they already have at home.
I have a question. I am new to Cricut, a friend said they have vinyl at our Dollar Tree have you used this or is it worth trying. Thanks, I love your channel

The freezer paper, I never would've thought of that. This was an amazing video to watch! Thank you!

Love your videos.
These are great ideas. I like that infusible ink will last much longer than vinyl, however I think it is tough to weed and or take off the liner. When I use it the infusible tears leaving the back of it on the carrier sheet. Thx
Yea it is DEFINITELY a pain to weed and takes me so much longer than other products.

You are going to have fun!
I wish we could have see what the back of the tea towel looks like with the fabric paint. Great ideas.
If you use a thin towel you will get some bleed through.
GREAT VIDEO. You are extremely helpful. Question; Can infusible ink be used on the cotton tea towels?
No. You need polyester for the process to work.
Thank you so much brilliant tutorial ❤️
Thank you! I learned so much from this video! You make it look so easy.
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice ideas! Thank you so much for such clear directions.
You are so welcome!
WOW I love the choices thanks for clearly explaining
You’re welcome 😊
Excellent video! Thank you so much!! I want to try a bleach stencil on my Jean jacket, do you have any experience with that?

I just picked up some tea towels at Walmart to put designs on them. Thank you for the many methods to achieve beautiful tea towels. My only question is why do you peel the stencil while the paint is still wet?
I do try to peel when wet.
@@AngieHolden
Thanks for replying. I'm a chicken to pull the stencil when wet. Would it get ruined if I do it when the paint dries?
It should still be fine!
This is amazing!! Just in time for Christmas 🎄 gifts! I know I’m a bit early but it’s all good 😊 Thanks Angie. You’re great 🥰
You are so welcome!
What a great video. Thank you so much❤️ I had no idea what infusible ink was until now.
I'm so glad!
Amazing 😍 thanks for this video. I appreciate it. I want make extra money. But definitely I will try to make for 🎁.
Love this. Love ALL the options!
Very informative video! Which method should I use for 100% cotton flour sack fabric. I will be selling the towels and want to make sure the ink or vinyl will not wash out or come off.
I would stencil and paint then. Silk screen would work as well.
@@AngieHolden Thank you. I will try it!
Love this video.. Thanks Angie!!
Angie thank you so much. You have given me some many ideas for our holiday gift baskets. Instead of buying I will just make things. I want to make throw pillow coverings for my grandson bed can I use infusible ink and also fabric paint?
If you want to use infusible ink, you will need to make sure they are made from polyester. Otherwise, it should work!
Did a great job of explaining. Thank you
Awesome tutorial. I love all of the projects.
Glad you like them!
Haven't seen that freezer paper, seen some that thinner that sticks to it's self. Have to look better! The towels look great.
Thanks! I have to order freezer paper online a lot now as it is not in as many stores.
Walmart carries it in our area
This was really good
This is the MOST awesome video! Thank you so much for doing this. I would want to try each method.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great instructions!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video. What size press should I get? At most the largest item I would make would be t-shirts. What’s your opinion? Thank you.
I would go with a 9x9 EasyPress or 9x12 heat press.
Great video!
Thanks for the visit!
Thank you very great video I will be making them
Have fun!
Love all the choices. You’re so brave - lol.
😊 thank you

One more great detailed tutorial. You take all the guessing and questioning out. Thank you for being so thorough!

Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Angie I love ur videos all of them are so helpful. Thank u can u tell me what is the brand of fabric paint that u use please. I wanna try and make some tea towels soon. Thank u ☺️
I used Fabric Creations from Plaid.
LOVE the information your shared. One question, do you have any issues with the fabric paint bleeding to the back side? If so, do you have any suggestions to prevent that.
I do sometimes. I would say buy thicker tea towels if it bothers you . I tend to be okay with it.
Really cute
Thanks!

Hey there. I love your channel! Just wondering where you got the tea towels. I don’t see the link for them.
They were from like 4 different sources! My favorites are from WalMart and I don't even think they sell them online. They are a bulk pack in the kitchen towel section.
Angie you are such a great teacher! Do you know if there is a fabric paint that you could put on towel or mit that could actually be used?
I use these towels with the Fabric Creations from Plaid. Zero issues.
gosh, you are awesome!
Wow, thank you!
Looks like you found some nice, thick tea towels, where did you buy them?
I got these a wide variety of places. The Infusible Ink one is a sublimation blank. Two of them are from Walmart and one I think from Amazon.
Hi first I love you videos there awesome. I am looking for advice, I have tried the other tea towel methods and wonderful. Now I am trying the freezer paper but when I cut it the paper rips, I have it set to freezer paper and the pressure to less do you have any other suggestions?
Clean your blade and stick it down better to the mat.
I echo everyone else. Great video. I love watching your videos. Which last longer & provide a better quality product - Infusible ink or Fabric paint??
Infusible Ink would probably last longer overall but it lasts for the life of the garment. I have some stenciled tea towels that I have had for years and they still look good.
@@AngieHolden thank you
Hi, Angie! I pulled this video up because I want to do towels, but am curious if you would provide the name of the cotton towels and the measurements of each towel that you get from Walmart. Thanks!
I am totally not sure! They are a large pack with a generic name.
Thank You for sharing..!!
Great video. Wish I could find nice tea towels. The ones I got from WM are so so thin.
I actually like them thin! That way they dry faster!
Great video! Where can I buy these tea towels?
I get them from a variety of sources!
Great tutorial!! Thanks so much! I do have a question....as far as durability, which type is best? Will the iron on, infusible ink or paint last the longest?
Infusible Ink will last the longest. Then probably the paint. Then the HTV. But all will last a really long time.
You do such a great job explaining everything. Thank you
Hi, thank you for the tutorial! Would parchment paper work in lieu of freezer paper? Thanks!
No. Only freezer paper will work for a stencil.
Very nice!
Thanks!
I'd love to do the stenciling and make some presents for Christmas. Is there any particular fabric content that is better than others?
If you are stenciling, you can use whatever towels you would like. I would recommend a smooth surface so the paint doesn't seep as bad!
Love all your videos. So informative. I want to try this with the stencil and fabric paint. Any brand you like better than others?
For fabric paint, I do like Fabric Creations from Plaid.
@@AngieHolden thank you so much for the speedy reply. I really do love your videos.

Hi, Can contact paper be used for a one-time stencil? Will it cut any differently from other vinyls? Thanks for your help.
Yep you could do that! It will probably cut about the same? Not sure on that.
Great video
Thanks for the visit!
I absolutely love your channel. I purchased a lot of Deco paint a while back and wanted to know can I use that paint for my t-shirts and towel projects?
I think you might have to use an additive that makes it into fabric paint. At least thats what I remember from years ago.
Yep. There is a fabric additive and you just mix it up.
@@joancook8454 Thank you so much!
@@AngieHolden I appreciate it!
For flour sack towels. Would u recommend everyday iron on or sports plex iron on?
Just everyday.

@Designtothenines had a tutorial on this.
What fabric paint are you using? Do you have care instructions?
I like FolkArt fabric paints. They usually have some instructions on the bottle.
What kind of paint did you use for the vinyl stencil?
Fabric paint.
I have a question. I am new to Cricut, a friend said they have vinyl at our Dollar Tree have you used this or is it worth trying. Thanks, I love your channel
I have tried it some but didn't love it. I plan to do a full review.
@@AngieHolden Thank you so much
Nice!love this video!! It gave me a lot of information that I needed it…. I am saving a lot of ur videos!! Hahahaha thanks again :)
Happy to help!
For polyester tea towel can you sublmiate on bothe sides?
You can. Careful when you do the other side. Be sure to use protective paper to keep the ink from getting on your press or mat.
Great videos. So each time using freezer paper is it
Always shiny side up or???
Shiny side DOWN. Against the mat and against your material. Always with freezer paper.
@@AngieHolden Thanks so much...very helpful. Again great videos. Christimas is around the corner.
Love it
Thanks!
Can you use infusable ink on 100% cotton towels?
No. Infusible Ink needs polyester to react. At least 65% polyester is best.
Hi!! Do you have a link for the tea towels? All I can find is cotton.
Links for all supplies are located in the description below the video. On computer, scroll down and click show more. On mobile, swipe up on the video or click the arrow to expand the description.
@@AngieHolden yes ma’am :) I clicked infusible ink but I didn’t see the towels having a link. :) I just can’t find towels :)
did you use Cricut removable vinyl to make the stencil for "just beat it"
You can use removable or permanent. Either one works.
Good morning other than butcher paper what else can I use.
Try this: ruclips.net/video/zrERc-9RzGE/видео.html
If you let the paint dry and then peel the stencil would that cause a problem?
I personally don't like to do it that way. I find that sometimes the paint lines won't be as crisp if I let it dry.
Can you print on a Swedish towel ?
Sorry not sure.
Is there a method you think washes better than others without bleeding?
None of these should bleed at all. Infusible Ink or Sublimation would last longer most likely but they would all hold up for a long time.
Where do you find 100% polyester towels?
I have the towels I am using linked in the description below the video.
Could anyone give me a good link for polyester tea towels? I’m trying to find some that aren’t waffle knit and I only need like two.
These two came from Artesprix and Conde.
