These are so beautiful!! I’m hoping to get a new iPad and Apple Pencil this summer and will HAVE to try this when I do. I think it will make such wonderful Christmas gifts🥹
Thank you for showing us the steps with options!! I’m not sure I’m up for trying this but I’m definitely intrigued about DTF - I totally thought DTF was something massively involved & that sublimation printers or powders, etc. were needed - thank you for sharing that piece too!!
The “hard” part is getting the recipe as a PNG image. It’s pretty easy after that (if you’ve heat pressed before!) it always seems hard until you try it 🤎 I believe in you!!
IT IS THE BOMB. I don't have a sublimation printer/ink but infusible ink is a good idea! DTF is definitely my favorite method since there's no weeding :)
oh, there this app called simple scanner - it's awesome!! I can't be bothered to get proper day-light for photography, and this app is really a live saver! I can make as many hand-and-phone shadows as you want: the app knows how to cut them out. don't know if it would have worked directly on the cricut design space, without running the text through procreate, but it can save the cleaning the photo step. I usually cook: home-made humus, thina, granola, garlic butter, fruit liqueur, chocolate bark... stuff like that
Hey Amy!! When I read the directions on my HTV, they don’t mention a Teflon sheet. Is there a specific reason you always use it when applying HTV? I’m still new-ish to iron on projects 😊 Great tutorial. I want to try this with my Italian grandma’s meatball recipe. ❤
your grandma's recipe sounds DELISH. if the specific HTV you bought does not state to use a teflon sheet - don't! Teflon sheets help avoid the HTV from overheating and getting destroyed (which is what we definitely do not want lol) hope this helps!
I multi-task too. If my area is already set up, I have a crochet project to work on while I'm waiting!

I always try and provide as many options as I can! Happy you noticed and it helped :)
This is such a nice way for a keepsake.
right! it makes me so happy having it in my home
Definitely DTF. Much easier and faster.
AGREED
Love this so much!!!
right!! made one for myself and some gifts too 😂😇
This is such a great idea. Looks amazing !🙂
Thanks so much!
Wow, I would do it the second way but it looks awfully hard for me as a beginner. Thanks for sharing.

I need the chocolate chip cake recipe!! Sounds like it's delicious. You should do this with sublimation or infuslable ink

New to Procreate I’m trying to follow your video. What do you set your pen to when you’re tracing?
it's the studio brush in inking! I have some beginner procreate tutorials on my channel that you can watch
Thank you@@AmyMakesThat

Is there a link I can go to to learn more about procreate and how to do this tracing process? Please
You can head to my profile and search procreate! I have quite a few tutorials :)

Where did you get the tea towels?
Linked in the video description!
I haven’t used DTF before, but would love that over the HTV. Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome!
I have apple IPad and IPhones and I can not find Procreate App…I just tried again. What am I doing wrong??
It’s an app you have to purchase & download from the App Store! It doesn’t automatically come with your devices. Hope this helps!
What brush did you use in procreate to trace it?
