Gurgler Mouse

Big trout, largemouth & smallmouth bass, pike, muskie...
If it eats meat, it'll eat this fly. Easy to tie, easy to cast and it looks better in the water than the store-bought, packed deerhair mice that tend to catch more anglers than fish.

That's a great idea using hackle for bulk, like the old style salmon dry flies which still work, and much easier and cleaner to work with then deer hair. I like that.

David Chase: It's an intermediate sink striper line. Doesn't coil up in the cold like other lines do.
