Thanks for the video on how to tie the Big Eyed Semperfli Mouse. I love how you show it step by step and slow enough for the viewer to figure it all out at home.
The glow in the dark Eyes will work awesome when fishing a golf course we fish a night! Thanks for posting and running a giveaway!! Best of luck to all!
When we first saw this material we had the exact same thought! It really is a perfect match for the mouse pattern we envisioned creating for Alaska and beyond.
What a great tie, Max! The one problem I have since I've been following your videos is trying to keep up with tying what you've shown. But I'm not too worried, now that the high mountain lakes that I fish are freezing up, I'll have the winter months to catch up. Just keep showing more of these great videos and I'll keep tying.
We have been spending more time at the bench now that temps are dropping off, with the occasional cold weather outing just to feel a tug and put a bend in the rod! 🎣
Every video you guys do is better then the one before! This one was absolutely amazing . I have been a fan of mousing for Trout for a while now and this pattern will make a great addition to my arsenal . I look forward to each Tuesday to see what new flies you guys can come up with. Keep up the great work and tight Lines to you all. It would be an honor to win The Loon Core Fly Tying Kit . P.S . as far as the N.Y. Rangers go I was a fan years ago but when they traded Eddie Giacomne !
Already ordered the supplies to tie this for Wisconsin big browns. Ordered through the brick and mortar store and the associate was great in helping me order.
Just getting started with fly fishing; bought a Redington Vice from AvidMax in September. This was the first fly tying video I've seen, but it looks like it would be fun to do. I'll be sure to watch more of these.
I’ve been fly fishing and trying my own flies for two years now. Always amazing what can be used to make different flies. I think I love tying flies more than fishing. Lol. Like the use of dacron instead of a shank. Keep up the good work with the videos. Love them.
I love the synthetic rabbit I feel like it would be nice for like a ragged gamechanger maybe, and I’ve never used a loon tool before but heard good reviews about it
I will have to try to tie one with the rabbit but schools been busy I’ve also been getting my girlfriend into tying so I’ll see if I can get her to tie one😂
One of the reasons I watch the weekly AvidMax Tuesday Fly Tie sessions is to see all new and very cool tying materials they offer such as the Wabbit synthetic material. Can’t wait to try it! And as a big time AVS fan… what’s up with the Rangers jersey!? Got to go Colorado AVALANCHE home team!!! Thanks AvidMax team for helping me tie better and enjoy the art!!
Thanks for watching! We so glad to be able share the joy of fly tying with people and it is one of the many things that drive us and keep us connected to what we love 🎣
Enjoyed the semperfli mouse and how it will move in the water. I am thinking this idea might be good for other flies and ocean fishing using flies. You have me thinking outside the box!
Great Pattern - and Thanks for explaining/demonstrating it so clearly, I’ll be checking your site and ordering some materials, I don’t think I’ve ever visited it. I’ll also check you out on FB and IG. Thank you!
The first 40 second showing that mouse swimming was eerily realistic. Nice work.
