So now we have the stomach vacuum exercise sitting down and with a "twist". 😉 I knew it was coming after the last sit down video on stomach exercises. Enjoy...sitting down, standing up and even laying down. It works.
I am 72 and have am doing a hip fix programme - so i didn't want to exercise my hip flexors any more then i need by doing awful 'regular' stuff. I am thin but can't get swimming as the pool too far away and have ended up with a fat belly and must do something - this is really great - thanks i will persevere!
After doing this exercise for about half a year, my posture signficantly improved! I have tried all sorts of posture exercise such as chin tucks and shoulder blades exercises but this exercise helped me the most, it always helps me sit upright somehow!
Wow...I have heard something similar before, if we have neck pain, back pain, most problem originate from hips and stomach and breathing issues....and you magically sorted your problem out and helped others ❤

I know it's not easy. I'm 51 and 238 lbs. Highest weight 249. I haven't been under 200 lb in almost 20 years. Getting sugar out of my diet is the hardest thing for me. God bless you on your healthy lifestyle

Thank you so much Dr. Mandel. I followed along with you while you demonstrated this exercise and it definitely caused a burn in my abdominal area. I have been hoping for an exercise like this to help me get rid of my belly. I’m 53 and started about a year ago trying to get myself back into good health again after years of laziness. Needless to say my belly is bigger than it needs to be. I have lost 50lbs in a year but I needed help with my belly and I believe this is it. This is similar to the twisting abdominal vacuum that I already do & have noticed major changes, not only aesthetically but also with my posture. Thank you for the great information!!
Question: When I'm completing this exercise looking straight forward--before the twisting to the side--the only pain I feel is in my lower back. It isn't terrible, but the video seems to suggest that any pain should be muscular. Can you give any feedback about this?

This modification of tummy vacuum feels lot more effective. Will include this in my regimen!!

Try to cut the carbs down. The more carbs the more glycogen stored and the more bloated you’re going to be.

Its called kapaalbhaati pranayaam in yoga. (Breath in n when u breath out pull the belly in) (pranayaam in English is meditation)
