nice vid! just a heads up tho, something about this title and thumbnail combo is really reminiscent of a lot of the awful red-pill reactionary content coming out about doctor who right now. not hating but just a thought because it doesnt become clear this is a positive video until a good ways in and a lot of people might not make it that far
Bro is not a nerd. They literally explained Time and relative dimension in space, in the 12th doctors era. Also did he say vincent van gofffffffffffffffffffffffff, the tardis didn't bi-generate, they had 2 doctors win during the game with the toymaker, tennant's prize was to bannish the toymaker and the other doctors prize was the tardis. Wibbly wobbly stuff.
The real world reason we got Tenant back was that Gatwa was filming so wasn't available for a while. RTD didn't want a year gap so filled it in with Tenant. Bi-generation was hinted at in the classic series. In fact, two Doctors DID exist at the same time. Look up the Valeyard. He is an evil version of the Doctor who split from the regular Doctor in what could be explained via bi-generation. Heck, many years from now Tenant's Doctor might watch all the people around him age and die and get spicy about that and become the Valeyard. We just don't know.
If I'm being tbh, it's pretty annoying how much of the video is spent explaining what Doctor Who is, when the title seems to be directed at long-time fans.
A lot of that was more because i know a lot of long term who fans went away from the show for a long period, so i was trying to catch any of those fans up as well
Yeah I’ve been getting the feeling that doctor who is going ti be different. I don’t think rtd came back just to make what he made before. The new episodes feel different and I’m enjoying that. I also feel that he wants to go more into theoretical sciences. That are completely coming out of nowhere (the not-things, toy maker, even the time traveling goblins that use ropes) and I’m going to be pretty excited if I’m right
