I utterly hate the Sasha Spy Master!! Amongst the many reasons for that, it's not properly explained HOW heaven exists, if Missy was destroyed by Saxon!! Also, no mention of Lumiat Master, Unbound Master, or Bald/MacQueen Master?
I think one of the better ideas for a spin-off show would be a show focusing on the Master. They could switch the order, have Missy as the most recent, a now redeemed Master, who "somehow returns" (heh Star Wars reference), but it'd be fun, you'd not know if the Master is going to be a little killy, or friendly this specific episode lol
I wish we could just keep one actor as the Master across multiple Doctors these days. Gets annoying for yet another “I’m the Master” with every new Doctor. Although the last 2 reveals nailed it both times.
I still feel that the latter Masters are, in order, Saxon Master, then Spy Master, then Missy. Otherwise Missy's redemption arc doesn't make sense if she then goes back to being a genocidal manic as the Spy Master.
Missy would had turned on the Doctor again even if she did help him in that one battle she was always going to stay bad it's The Master he/she doesn't think of anyone but him or herself let's not forget he has murdered people you can't change a sociopath.
Big fan of the Master, but seem to be the only one who’s not a fan Missy’s “redemption” arc. Her death laugh is a “Yep, you’re right” to Saxon. Let’s not forget the Doctor turns up to her execution, she begs for her life, he throws the switch anyway and locks her in a vault. Cruel and Cowardly.
12:10 no, Rassilon planted the 4-beat rhythm into his head so that moment to form a link and escape the time war. Combined with the exposure to the untempered schism this drove him mad. Also, why in the world did they have to bring him back after season 10? The 2 incarnations killing each other was a PERFECT end for the master. Shame on Chibnall

Vote Saxon!
NPH is the Toy Maker, not the Master.
Not the absolute dis on the Master showing him as the Toy Maker’s gold tooth on the thumbnail
OMG: the dying Master who lost to the Toymaker could be either Sacha's master or MISSY!!!
If the master can do all this to avoid death, so can the doctor. The doctor just refuses
NPH is The Toy Maker
1970s and 1980s dr who are the absolute best. 1990s is a close second.
Matt playing the master would be crazy. I still think 14 is the Valeyard. Having both face 15 would be crazy.
Great video about the Marster
I wish we could just keep one actor as the Master across multiple Doctors these days. Gets annoying for yet another “I’m the Master” with every new Doctor. Although the last 2 reveals nailed it both times.
Can never get enough of Ellie.
I still feel that the latter Masters are, in order, Saxon Master, then Spy Master, then Missy. Otherwise Missy's redemption arc doesn't make sense if she then goes back to being a genocidal manic as the Spy Master.
It's almost like Chibnell didn't understand the show, the characters, or the story arcs. XD
@@eshbena he was so busy leaving his mark on the show I don't think he cared
Missy would had turned on the Doctor again even if she did help him in that one battle she was always going to stay bad it's The Master he/she doesn't think of anyone but him or herself let's not forget he has murdered people you can't change a sociopath.
Please let them make Matt smith the next incarnation of the master
I actually consider the Doctor Spy Master has an incarnation of the Doctor
me too
Why are you showing Neil Patrick Harris in the thumbnail He's not the master He's the toy maker
You missed out the big finish masters
Lord president sent a psychic message through the time vortex, implanting it in The Master as a sleeper program to save Galafrey from the time war.
Of course, that might genuinely have been the end. We shouldn't assume that the TV series shows the Master's incarnations in internal (?) order, any more than we see River's in order.
The Master’s first appearance after Season 10 wasn’t until Season 14, and the ones after that were Season 18.
Roger Delgado is still the best 💕
The toy maker wasn’t the master
Thanks to this video I noticed when Missy gets zapped by herself she briefly resembles the skeletal form of the crispy Master!
My Theory is like River Song (the best character) we meet The Master (including Missy) out of order!
The toy maker was never the master
"Gallifrey wouldn't be introduced until late 1973". Um....do your research.
No mention of the Lumiat?
that thumbnail is gona trigger so many Dr Who fans
Shame the Big Finish versions weren't included ...
