I live in a poor area and used fabrics from fabrics I've have for years. I get $5 each and that's good for my area. I am handicapped and don't walk so this gives me something to do with my time. I have made and sold a few of your ideas Thanks again for your time to show us your makes.
FABULOUS! I'm new to sewing. You make me think I can do ANYTHING! Every single video! And if I pause and rewind and practice I CAN!!! You are an inspirational teacher. Thank you from across the pond and then some! 😃 😊 😀 😄 😁
Another great version. I think giving customers options is good and they seem to like it. ie: bowl cozies, car bags, zipper pouches, etc. I will make some of these to go with the others because it is easier to put on and off, some people get confused with the looping over the rail. I will also make some of these with the front angled to a point, just for variety. I like to offer options just like you give us options in your videos. 😀 Thank you for inspiring yet again.
I will be making these as soon as I can get back into my home after the flood , they are fantastic. Thanks for doing all the hard work of inventing them.
I like these Christine, I like the other ones but I think these are easier. When I make them I,l probably make some of both. I can’t wait to get my machine. I’ve got so much that I want to make. Thanks for showing us how to make the items.
I need to try this one I sewed the other for a craft fair and they sold first thing. I also put in a craft shop and they sold great there also thanks for showing us your makes
Hi Christine, i love this version ! I currently do potholder tops on my hanging towels but am looking to use up my fabric stash and cut my expenses. I sell my hanging towels for $8 US which works out to $12 Australian. This year I'm going to offer a deal ...one towel for the $8 or buy 2 towels for $15 US. In the past years i have sold a couple hundred towels a season😊 I'm going to try this version i think it will be a hit! Thanks again for sharing 😊
Thank you Christine! I like this version too. Easy to maneuver and quick to sew. The other day I saw one of these but the topper was totally round and the towel attached on the back. Maybe one of these days you can envision such a topper? Thanks again for sharing your craft.
I do like this version much better it's faster! But, your original one with the strap going around looks much more professional. I'll give this one a go. I'm thinking to round the front corners. . .
Oooh I like. It's almost like a magic dishtowel. And I like the options of snaps or velcro. On a side note, would you ever consider doing a Q & A? I'm self taught from videos like yours and some things keep occuring when I sew and I always wonder what to do. Thanks for this video!
I've been considering it a lot Lisabird. I'll do a post or video soon and get viewers to ask questions in a specific thread. That way I can keep up with them. I'd like to try live feeds too, but haven't plucked up the courage yet😁
I love this! Can you please explain how you would sew it with directional fabric? And how to put Kam snaps on? I'm not sure which direction to place the snaps on the directional fabric. I seem to make everything more complicated! 😬 Thank you so much! 😍
Thanks Deb. I did a quick little video making cord keepers in a video with mum. I think I show how the snaps go together in that one, as well as a few other videos😀
Great idea i want try this i have a qestions Can you use plastic snaps and i have a suggestion instead of gathering the towel fold the towel so print shows
Plastic snaps will also work Mark. You can fold or gather the towelling whichever way suits your print as long as your fabric is wide enough. If you need more print showing, and the gathering/pleating doesn't work for you, you could make the fabric topper a little wider too😀
We don't see this kind design for towels overhere in B. What do you use them for please please? Seem so small to use to dry dishes, specially with the other cloth on it.
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs aha, we use thicker towels for that. Those have thickness between kitchen and bath towels. It's an idea to make some with those! Thanks for the tutorial.

You're very welcome Karla. I'm so pleased your selling your items too😀
Thanks sharing Christine. I made the other fabric one you made, so I trying this one. Hope you loved our beautiful Tassie,
I did love Tassie. We had a great time😁

Thank you so much Amy.
You CAN do anything! Just pause and rewind. That's how Chris and I learn to dance new moves😁

I totally agree Judi. I had another lady just yesterday want the old loop style as she doesn't have a rail. Guess I'll have to make more of those too😀
Great, much easier than the other type and so much faster. Thanks Christine.😊
They sure are Janet. We can make so many more now😁
Very clever version of an old favourite and useful kitchen towel, thank you Christine.
You're very welcome Jess. Thank you😀
I will be making these as soon as I can get back into my home after the flood , they are fantastic. Thanks for doing all the hard work of inventing them.
I hope you get back to your home soon Giovanna. 😀
Easier and quicker to sew! Also easier to attach and remove from rail. Thanks for a wonderful tutorial.
The certainly are K. I think I'll do these in the future😀
Wow, perfect!! I made the original ones for my daughter, but these will be cool for my son!! Thank you, as always, a blessing.
You are so welcome Betty. Thank you😁
Your are something. Your creativity is amazing. You must lay awake nights thinking of things to make. Love your channel.
haha, I do wake at times with an idea Pat. I have plenty of daytime naps though😀
Another great option Christine. I make mine very similar but they have rounded corners. Thank you for another great tutorial.
They'll be great with rounded corners Rebecca. It was my plan initially, but was having a lazy moment😀
Love how easy these are. Thanks!
They certainly are much easier Janet😀

Thank you for sharing. I’m also in the US and hope to have a both in a craft show in the fall. Been struggling with pricing what I sew!
Wow, they're great sales for you. The buy two option is a great idea too.😀
Love your towels😊
Thanks Lucille😁
Fabulous tutorial as usual. These would make lovely xmas gifts ❤
Thanks Patricia. They've been a popular gift idea😁
Me likey. Thanks, Christine
Thanks Cyn. Much quicker than the last lot😀

That's a very interesting idea Blanca. I'll have to give it some thought😀

Yes, the rounded corners would look much better Patricia😁

Christine that skirt behind you, is it scalloped, it is super cute❤
Thanks Judith. It's a slightly gathered skirt. Here's the video link 😀 ruclips.net/video/EwnVAvQO4Hw/видео.htmlsi=6gFIaLBhdXN2Rult
Wonderful idea! Christine, can I make the fabric piece smaller in length do you think?
You certainly can Diane. Just leave enough so that you can fold the fabric over the rail😀
Great idea

How do you attach the magnetic holder and velcro
Rosa, the video should show you how to attach the magnetic snap. To use velcro, just sew it on instead of the magnet😀

Katrien, they are very popular to wipe your hands in the kitchen, bathroom, or laundry. 😁
