      I’m retiring. I was gifted one for Christmas last year. I’m so happy for her pattern. I made a template by cutting the pieces from a cheap dollar tree placemat. I lay it on the fabric and cut around it. So quick!

      I have sold 20 or more at my first boutique. Next one is this Saturday. The problem I am having is a variety of fabrics. Fabric has become quite expensive. I did have a custom made pattern done on Etsy from 1/8” acrylic. So now each pattern is cut precisely and quickly.

      Question for you since I know Christine will be away from YT for awhile. The 7.5x8" piece, which side is she folding? I had started to fold/iron on the 8" side leaving the 7.5 for the width to go across the top, but then realized that she didn't say which side to fold and I started to second guess myself 🤦‍♀️

    • @ChristinesHomeAffairs
      @ChristinesHomeAffairs  Год назад +1

      Sheila, fold the 8" side together. You want the handle to finish at 7 1/2" x 2" 🙂

    I love the tutorial, it is easy to follow and makes a very cute , useful product. Just one small thought, As both someone who sells and buys at craft markets, I would to remove your label as soon as I got home with my purchase, if I bought it all all. If I am purchasing something to "decorate" my home, the last thing I want is an Label glaringly front and center. It would be much more inconspicuous and less annoying if it were placed on a bottom corner of the towel.

    Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am not a beginner but I need exact instructions and you are easy to follow. I took normal older towels I can't offer guests anymore because they are worn out. It was quite bulky and had problems tucking everything in and some slipped out again. But this way I upcycled older towels and didn't have to throw them away. On some I sewed fabric around the frazzeled egdes to hide them. They are not to sell but for my own use or as a little present for friends.

      @@ChristinesHomeAffairs Just sitting down to sew and reviewing a bit. Curiosity got to me and I just had to read your tattoo! I also have anaphylactic allergy to PCN. You have thought of a most beautiful way to let others know something very important!
