Basically, he had his leg amputated due to cancer, and then he tried to run the entire length of Canada. He wasn't able to succeed because his cancer came back and he died to it after running over 5,000 Km, raising money for cancer research the whole way along, raising over $850 million throughout the run. As a fan of connor from ancient early times, I approve of this video. None of this crazy charity stuff for the IDF would not have happened if he didnt meet Ironmouse (who I also have known from ancient times)
His friendship with Chris is so entertaining and wholesome. From their Wacky Weekends together, to their first Cyclethon, to their third monumental Cyclethon, the thing that makes those so great is their dynamic together. Dude 4 minutes in, I have tears in my eyes, it's been incredible to see connor grow, as aperson as well as his channel and his career as a whole. Starting with Garnt(gigguck), joey(the anime man), trash taste and of course connor (he became my favourite since the 1st time I started watching the boys, then continuing on to slowly gwt to know the whole family, emily, aki, chris, pete I saw him slowly becoming friends with ironmouse, working with corpse, his vtuber career (ehm ehm) it's been so pleasant. It's so chill, heknowshow to keep them both close and at a distance, being sincere yet keeping a good public-private dynamic,he really has an amazing game going on for him. He definitely is my chill comfort channel.
I came across Conner by watching one of Joeys vids and fell in love with his content ever since, super funny and mature dude. Also, it makes me happy knowing my dumb video somehow made you emotional about Conners awesome work LOL

This was a great video. Great editing, great sense of humor and well formed script. I haven't seen anyone do this style of video about Connor so I really appreciate that you took the time out of your day to spread awareness of how great of a guy he really is. Keep it up!
A good youtuber/streamer that does a charity event that no one talks much about is DougDoug. He does a charity stream for the Montery Bay Aquarium every August and has raised over 2mil (99% sure it was that much) for them. They work in ocean conservation and help rehab animals. He came across a RUclips livestream from them years ago and it was one of the otter's birthdays, her name was Rosa. Every year donations have tripled, and despite Rosa passing away early this year (she was 23-24, making her the oldest otter on record I'm pretty sure) he still did the event and raised like $600k. He streams over a weekend and it's Rosa's bday celebration 😊

Bad mic, not the best production quality, and just other things that kinda say "I'm an amateur and part timer still learning my way." He'll get better at it as time goes on. But it's obviously still early days for this channel.
to be honest the end of the video made me tear up, it's just amazing what someone can do when they set their mind in it, and all the people that were waiting at the finish line it's just beautiful, for them to have such a warm welcome reward

Casual viewer here. This is such a great video. I didn't know the details about Connor's cycling charity stream. And I'm personally not one to watch long streams so this video helped so much 🤍 Mad respect to Connor, Chris, and so much more people who helped their cause.
Hi, cool video... I really think Connor's Cyclethons do need to be more widely acknowledged. However, there is one problem with the premise of this video,... The Cyclethon is streamed on Twitch, and clips/vods are uploaded to RUclips. (I'm only a couple of minutes into your video though, so you might address this point.)
Ya I know, as I said in the video, big media outlets/ commentary youtubers don't usually cover youtube philanthropy if it isn't Mr. Beast which ig is fine. Also I just wanted to make a video about conner because Ive been following him for a while lmao
@@Mushh123 i can see what they mean though. id consider Connor more of a twitch Philanthropist though. because for example the Cyclethons was made on twitch while people like Mr Beast main platform for all his stuff is RUclips. Connor definitely need to be more recognized though for all the good shit he does. If those media outlet were to talk about Connor for his Charity stuff it would definitely be tagged under "streamer", "twitch streamer", or "content creator" with youtuber being last. if those event were cross-streamed then maybe but he doesn't stream on RUclips
Conner is a great person. I love his charity events. In Germany, we also have such events from streamers every year. For example, “Friendly Fire” where over 1.3 million euros for several aid organizations were donated in just 12 hours. It's crazy what communities can accomplish together. 🤩
There's also Doug Doug who always donates to the Monterey Aquarium every year. Honestly there is a lot of Philanthropy you tube content that not enough people talk about
Connor is such a chad. He hadn't even heard of the immune deficiency that Iron Mouse suffers from until they had become friends, and now he has donated over 2 million dollars to the cause. He's genuinely one hell of a friend, because you know she is the reason he does all of this.
I’ve been watching him for awhile and he’s honestly awesome! So open-minded to new ideas and experiences with the willpower of a 1000 men. I also dont know how any of them were standing after biking that much

I'm glad I stumbled upon this clip showing Connor's POV. i was laughing the whole time and like rooting at my seat when I saw Chris's vlog. such awesome vid!
I recognize that media offline, a davinci resolve as well. Also great video people need to me talking about his achievements more
Connnorrrrr my guyy hell ya people reconising him :)
I love the dude have been watching him since his black butler series.
Monke is a legend, the people he surrounds himself with that support him along the way are legends. Shout out to you for putting his accomplishments out there, from one chokedawgva fan to another, respect!
He's such a great humble guy. He does deserve more recognition
Connor is one of my favorite RUclipsrs, so I'm glad you covered him in such a positive way!
I love how he treats the dynamic with his viewers and fans.
Legend has is that Pets back still hurts from carrying the streams :)
it's nice of u to talk & shine some light into it. got a bit confused seeing the thumbnail then just clicked on it & kept watching
Really good video can’t wait to see more!
I need more people to appreciate Chris as well. He is also part of and face of these charity cycling but I don't see enough people talking about him when they mention cyclethon.
On top of that, he's probably a decent part of the reason that Connor, Garnt, Aki, and Sydney can live in Japan as content creators.
Thanks for repping our boi.
He's a good lad.
The editing after thoughts were really good
This was a great video. Great editing, great sense of humor and well formed script. I haven't seen anyone do this style of video about Connor so I really appreciate that you took the time out of your day to spread awareness of how great of a guy he really is. Keep it up!
Now this is a style of video essays I can get behind. I’ve been cry laughing while enjoying this masterpiece.
thats so good to hear haha
Great write-up on an underappreciated creator.
Also.... OUG OUG OUG!
Maaaaan, watching this made me happy all over again for Monkey and Mousey. Connor really did awesome with his philanthropy work. Thanks for making this video!
P.S. Please don't scream so much into the mic for Cyclothon 4 =)
Great video, really fun story telling too.
What a great video, super well edited and really moving
I don’t know why you don’t have more subrscribers, this video was so well edited and it was entertaining all the way through, well done, i hope you get more viewers, i genuinely do.
You have a new subscriber without a doubt.
Bad mic, not the best production quality, and just other things that kinda say "I'm an amateur and part timer still learning my way." He'll get better at it as time goes on. But it's obviously still early days for this channel.
Bro he is the closest person we have to muman rider
I'm just 7 minutes in but I love the way you articulate yourself. def got a new sub. :)
thx soo muchh mann
connor!! yes someone covering him omg, as a fan from the impression era of his, its insane to see him make such a breakthrough. im so glad he has!
to be honest the end of the video made me tear up, it's just amazing what someone can do when they set their mind in it, and all the people that were waiting at the finish line it's just beautiful, for them to have such a warm welcome reward
Man i definitely believes Connor should have been nominated for streamer of the year cause he's overshadowed by "normie" streamers like Casoh, Kai Cenat, and Jynxi not to sht on Kai but bro inadvertently started a riot last yr cause of his negligence while Connor is out here doing amazing work i definitely think Connor is a top 5 streamer
Casual viewer here. This is such a great video. I didn't know the details about Connor's cycling charity stream. And I'm personally not one to watch long streams so this video helped so much 🤍
Mad respect to Connor, Chris, and so much more people who helped their cause.
@@shadoface ohhh I get it
You got me with the don't get isekaid. Keep it up also, who's this Felix dude? He seems so natural in front of cameras?
Great video man first time watching I subscribed
That's my Goat right there, thanks for making this video
The video is nice and all but you REALLY earned my respect by using Kinslayer in it.
Honestly there is a lot of Philanthropy you tube content that not enough people talk about
Beautiful video. Didn’t know that Conner did so much charity and help made so much awareness into a less known illness. He is the GOAT
Connor is such a chad. He hadn't even heard of the immune deficiency that Iron Mouse suffers from until they had become friends, and now he has donated over 2 million dollars to the cause. He's genuinely one hell of a friend, because you know she is the reason he does all of this.
great video. the way you speak sounded like a professional. never thought you only have 3k subs. +1 subscriber
I loved every single chaity event connor has hosted and they are just made with endless amounts of passion
to think, the guy who used to do Black Butler Sebastian content and shoddy cosplay try ons has grown so much, love Connor
i love your vid, especially your voice...... subscribed!!
I’ve been watching him for awhile and he’s honestly awesome! So open-minded to new ideas and experiences with the willpower of a 1000 men. I also dont know how any of them were standing after biking that much
Dont know how hes open minded but still cool dude regardless
I see monke in thumbnail? I click. Even better if the video is as good as this one, hell yeah gamers
