Wym 😭 he had plenty of time to talk they had genuine conversations, Andrew ain’t like most them other trash ass interviewers like the mf from two bears one cave.
Pre-Whistlblower:“Hey cia, i notcied this horrible thing ur doing and i wanna make it right to clear my confusion with my theory about it…” Cia: oh, i guess he mysteriously died 😭😭
Honestly, whistleblowers can't go anywhere bc they get booted, threatened or punished if they go to any one they are supposed to go to. Human Resource works for an entity and they will not side with you bc they are part of the entity.
I struggle with this as well to be honest. If you have ever held anything above a secret, I think you would understand more. People leaking secrets and calling themselves whistleblowers are clearly traitors. People leaking things that are clearly illegal and have attempted to go through alternative channels, I get. Blasting it online causes damage to people who may not even be party to the activity. There is a definite need for people to come forward when things are wrong. There are options for that that do not include getting the Epstein treatment. Journalism is a completely separate topic. Julian Assange, from my point of view, did nothing wrong. He did what any journalist or news agency in the world would have done. His informants, however, are absolutely guilty. Chelsea Manning grabbed anything (they?) could to have 15 minutes of fame. That is not whistle blowing. That is leaking classified information with no remorse for fallout.
As a veteran, and someone who has worked intel, this guy is 100% a well trained PR man. Granted he never got asked the right questions in the right way, as well as never truly elaborating further, and these guys moved on with other questions. I'm sure i'll raise some flags from his group but that's fine. I'm no threat. But great interview overall. Really enjoyed it.
It's true about americans. Easy to fool. They are the most closed society in the world. They think north korea is shut. North korea at least knows where my country is. Signed Perth Australia.
Also, alot of what he talked about or lack of it, he talked about things that were already knowledge, nothing new came out of this interview and in all honesty i saw through bullshit.
When he said aliens don’t exist , I could tell he’s full of chit. The world is to vast , we have to much ego to believe. We are the only ones to exist. Basically a different type of species. I was like he full of chit
He didn’t meantion one very real reason why we all do things. LOVE, for myself people often gift me free coffee, and a multitude of other things, including the best gift of kindness, and I also gift them free things, and kindness, care etc. because I genuinely LOVE them. When he was talking about "no one wants to hear the 50ty year old woman's life story" all ai could think about is I definitely want to hear her story. This is the key and power of genuine LOVE, to see yourself in another is to live in love, and this is the pure motivational force of our soul, for it is the core truth of our existence.
Love would fall under ego and reward. Think of it like this. To live in love you have to recieve it back as well. So part of your motivation would be somone who listened and returned that love. Otherwise you would not be "rewarded" and which would be the motivation. Layers of ego could be involved as well as coerision as you first mentioned "people gifting you" right after love. Meaning you associate the two and that would be an way of getting you to shift toward an agent.
Akaash: *makes a good point/asks a good question* *tries to ask second question* Andrew: Nahhhh hold on, you cant talk. I got to interrupt our guest every other minute smh

Listening to this on the bus and at around 1 hr 50 min (the story about how to get intelligence), Andrew needs to let the guest talk. The amount of interruptions and I’m like “Andrew please shut up, I’m tryna hear this guest tell the story”. Great pod as always tho

Lets be honest, the show needs a reduced cast. Alex should get a few producer questions behind the scene. Akash/Mark should be alternating cohosts. It would make Andrews steamrolling less pronounced.
Andrew has reached bert level of obnoxiousness. If Andrew allowed akaash to speak it’ll be better. Akaash has good interviewing skills and questions and flows good with the interviewer. But Andrew can’t allow anyone else have center stage
I think akash needs his own show. Softer tone, maybe a little educational spin, or a variation of shows centering around different cast. Almost rotating door esk
This fella was on the Lex Fridman podcast more than a year ago and he made several bold geo-political predictions based on his expertise. He said these predictions would come true before the end of that year, yet not one of them has.
I hate he didn’t get any pushback on the whistleblower stuff. My rights, as an American, supersede any beaurocratic bullshit. If what the whistleblower exposes turns out to be true and the government is engaging in illegal activities, then we should punish those responsible not the whistleblower
That stance makes sense if you are a private citizen and find something out about the government. But as an agent, you make certain oaths and enter an agreement.it is no different than if you join the military.
The thing that didn't make sense to me.. if Snowden had tried to do it within the legal channels, he would put a huge target on his back and the intelligence agencies would have no problem with taking him out. Bustamante acts as if this wouldn't be the case.
The oath I took was to defend and uphold the constitution of the united states of america against all enemies foreign and domestic. It was not to "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil"...
People make fun of Andrew for his "revelations" when he's really just doing exactly what this guy said, making the guest feel important/smart. If you're blown away and showing interest in learning from someone, they'll tell you everything to express their knowledge and fulfill their ego.
It's somewhat true - the problem people have with Schulz is that he has his little 'epiphanies' mainly because he wants to sound smart by reiterating exactly what was just said 🤷♂️ I don't mind someone appreciating learning something, but when it's all for show people have an issue because it's subversive and selfish

@@rickfoster1688I agree that it's a natural thing people do in conversation, but I do not think it's good for podcasting at all When you watch a really good podcast, the flow of the conversation isn't like listening to two people talk normally. I seriously doubt that guy or any CIA agent being recorded can be buttered up into revealing what they shouldn’t, at least not someone with access to real info. He is probably revealing what he was told too or he just blowing smoke screens.
Too bad he lacks an enormous amount of historical context. He's clearly there to make points in service of the "homeland", not to convey accurate information.
It is really strange how this podcast has evolved. From comedians to political commentators with only news headline information and crazy assumptions. This podcast used to be a small escape from reality to enjoy life and now it’s full of “geniuses” with all the “trust me bro” answers.

Can’t tell you how or where, but it’s 100%. So make sure you Re up for the right reasons. Next 4 years will be hard ones.” No BS and 100% true. He knew it was coming. He was dead serious. I asked him - why tell us this. He said “because I want to make sure the guys next to me are the right ones. Period. Do with that information what you must.” They knew. I knew. Not the details - but it made perfect sense. Bush had just started his term. It had to happen fast, so he could control it long enough to help Halliburton.

Amazing. He makes the Reality of Spy Craft immediately accessible, relevant, and explained with a clarity that recognizes both the extreme value and danger. He embodies a prudent nationalism that we ALL need to live from in humble self interest and unity as a cure to the current insane division growing like a cancer in main stream politics; tho he addressed this too through comparing our national development to middle school. I've seen several of Andrew's interviews. It's hard to distinguish if he is who he says he is "former" CIA. There are a lot of recruiting talking points in my opinion. Either way, I enjoyed his conversation, and he was a great talking piece in this role. "The best place to hide is in plain sight." "Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth" - Marcus Aurelius
Which is the point cuz it's all BS lol. The thing about whistleblowers at 1:03:00 smh. Absolute lies. It's not his fault either, he is a nobody grifter they put out to pasture. If he wasn't he wouldn't be doing podcast circuits or writing a BS book. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ He's saying all the same BS we've heard a million times before from nobody agents. All those "avenues" and official channels he speaks of that whistleblowers are supposed to follow are constructed in such a way so when they stonewall you they can make the decision to merc you if you seem the type to keep pushing. Like he said R.I.C.E., Ego is not a factor, Reward didn't work, Coercion doesn't work, "okay" they say, "so the guy is pursuing this whistleblower thing because of Ideology..."" Then they end up like the Boeing whistleblowers. That's where that idiotic line of thinking gets you. "Trust the system"...no, i did that for years and i now know and can clearly see the system is broken, corrupted beyond most ppls comprehension and most definitely not to be trusted due to the large amount of money and power involved... Snowden and Assange most definitely did not "do more damage than good". They wisened ppl up to the point they could see the damage that was being done and start to work to curtail it. Had they not the U.S. would be in the state the U.K and Brazil are in right now. The reality is that marxist ideologists have infiltrated leftwing extremist governments and corrupted the CIA to weaponize them against their own ppl just like the FBI and ATF. CIA should be smoking WEF, Bilderburg, Trilateral Commission and Council on Foreign Relations members left, right and center but instead they work with and enable them attempting to control them for corrupt reasons and general institutional self interest. Those ppl pay the bills, they fund the CIA's activities. There is an egregious conflict of interest that is a detriment to the very ppl and their rights and freedoms, not to mention their very national sovereignty just in general, that the CIA is supposed to be fighting to protect. If they actually cared about their country and its people they would be destroying these powerful authoritarian collectivist supranational entities by any means necessary and putting the fear into all those evil f*cks. They need to know they can get got and wealth and power will not buy their safety. If they FA they must FO. They are very much doing the former without ever experiencing the latter. Alas, the truth is the CIA are as big a part of the problem as the KGB, CCP, CSIS or SIS now. Something has to break, one of these intelligence agencies has to start dropping these human scum. instead they are too busy trying to help them by trying to propagandizing against and take out Trump cuz they're afraid he and the ppl he puts into positions of power will do the right thing and tell them "Naw, f*ck that. You see everything you're doing right now? Do the fair opposite and make America great again. That or GTFO just like all the commies and illegal immigrants nobody asked for or wants to support with their hard earned money." The real enemy: ruclips.net/video/reXi0C1JoHo/видео.html
I think asking him his opion on whistle blowing was fantastic. What a great way to get to the root of where his allegiances are and where his lines are held. A corrupt government will never give you permission to expose them, but trust the system he says.
His position on Snowden and whistleblowing blew my mind. Dood is a company man through and through. And by definition hates the people. Which is probably why he's perfect for the government

I like this guy. Take what you will from his interviews. Always something to learn. Ppl that are negative are most likely 100% no where near what he's been involved in and wished to be or accomplished in. And it's OK! Me neither! BUT... I learn something every time when I watch his interviews and not take it so personal. let's embrace what we can LEARN or resonate with vs. shutting it all down. Just be open minded and make your own mind up.
What a tough role to play. The “how do you do fellow kids?” role with the fellow kids knowing you’re full of it is like playing a video game on expert.
Now if one compares Andrew's story(CIA life) with this guy's story "Navy SEAL Joins French Foreign Legion After Jail & Being Homeless" there is a clear cut reality . No one gaves a f about your substance abuse in cia and what u do in your free time uas long as your tests are negative or effects your performance.
Eloquence and the ability to clearly explain an idea is a telltale sign for me... Yup... And yet this eloquence is such a standard to strive for, then his interpersonal interaction to set 4 guys at ease to talk AND make them feel important! STELLAR!
Literally had to watch this guys interview on another platform cause Andrew wouldn't stop dominating the conversation and interrupting everyone. Let the man speak, he's a guest for a reason.
The people in the comments are confused. He has never claimed to be a "spy" in the field, or convert in any way that is espionage. He's not risking the years in prison or worse. He claims to have been a case officer. He has repeatedly said specifically "former overt officer". This is analyzing data, thinking about solutions to an issue, running around in a generally civilian capacity. Similar to any office environment. This man is well-articulated and a clear communicator which are skills directly linked for that function. I fail to see the disconnect other than people needing to feed their own preconceived notions. He's like a reporter getting an informant at a company. Drip feed a human resources lady platitudes to get salary information, relay back to his agency, so the next person searches for debts against their earnings, then they have a mark to offer incentives.
the fact no one has replied implies no one read this. given what I've learned about people this checks out 😂 information right in front of them and people just choose to live in their own ignorant bubble lest it pop based on some outside information. pathetic and concerning lmao. it's all right in front of you.
1. Did it ever occurred to either of you that people are trolling the “ex” agent? 2.People aren’t confused, have preconceived notions, and live in ignorant bubbles just for not taking the comments section of a RUclips video seriously. 3. Wym 😭 he had plenty of time to talk they had genuine conversations, Andrew ain’t like most them other trash ass interviewers like the mf from two bears one cave.
Sis, you did the most comprehensive report on this story. You nailed it!!!
“Whistleblowers need to try other avenues first.” I wonder how many have tried that and then….
Pre-Whistlblower:“Hey cia, i notcied this horrible thing ur doing and i wanna make it right to clear my confusion with my theory about it…”
Cia: oh, i guess he mysteriously died
😭😭
they get parking lot
Honestly, whistleblowers can't go anywhere bc they get booted, threatened or punished if they go to any one they are supposed to go to. Human Resource works for an entity and they will not side with you bc they are part of the entity.
For real🤣 like they were the ones who probably tried everything else first
I struggle with this as well to be honest.
That is leaking classified information with no remorse for fallout.
what’s the point of having 3 co-hosts if you shut down any of their input because you can’t wait another two minutes to say something

Its a group from the Agency recording their lunch break...
He literally had Andrew "buy him a coffee" by turning the last 20% of the pod into an advertisement for his company

It's somewhat true - the problem people have with Schulz is that he has his little 'epiphanies' mainly because he wants to sound smart by reiterating exactly what was just said 🤷♂️

@@rickfoster1688I agree that it's a natural thing people do in conversation, but I do not think it's good for podcasting at all
When you watch a really good podcast, the flow of the conversation isn't like listening to two people talk normally. In a normal conversation, it's totally normal to do this because it shows you are actively listening. When it's done on a podcast, it's abrasive to the flow of the pod - it's hard to explain but it's something that you can simply 'feel' when it happens. No one said it better than Shane Gillis who coined the 'Schulz Epiphanies'

You can learn a lot by listening to him carefully and trying to figure out what he's trying to get you to think.
You really think it runs this deep? I trust what people say too much
Would I be giving him too much credit if I think he’s giving some lies and some truths to weave a puzzle of information of truth and what CIA wants us to believe (which by itself could be objective truth or lies to protect the security of America)
I wanna ask this guy what it’s like when every conversation you have with another person can only be experienced through a paradigm of manipulation and jockeying power. I’m sure he (of course) wouldn’t answer honestly. But I imagine it’s hellish.
@@bk2524it certainly does run that deep. guarantee that his official job is to pretend to not be apart of CIA (“anymore”) and throw out truths & lies to misdirect.

Then they end up like the Boeing whistleblowers.
Fantastic spokesman for CIA. Very likable and listening to his speaking doesn’t grow dull.
Kinda hard to listen to him when he’s surrounded by a bunch of dopes who love to constantly interrupt.
Found it all interesting. When people speak info back in a slightly different way, it shows they have internalized and learned it- and the other(s) often took it a step further or two when they spoke or questioned. Nice interplay. (Ensured I learned it the info!) Well done. Thank you all. (Immediately subscribed here and at EveryDaySpy.)
I appreciate all the honest questions that they asked that I haven’t heard on a bunch of other podcasts that Andy’s been on
I like this guy.
The “how do you do fellow kids?” role with the fellow kids knowing you’re full of it is like playing a video game on expert.
more like easy mode when you're shameless
This guy sticks to it and never lets it go at the same time takes control of everything.
Akash, much respect, Andrew was not giving you space
This episode always comes on while I’m sleeping
“I dream of the day that I will be allowed to use a controlled substance” pretty much admitted to still being a cia officer
Noticed this too. With the stuff he knows about, CIA will never let you go completely.
Or a husband and responsible father.
@@davidge5856Brother. Being hard headed won’t get u anything but less friends
Lololololol @@davidge5856
Now if one compares Andrew's story(CIA life) with this guy's story "Navy SEAL Joins French Foreign Legion After Jail & Being Homeless" there is a clear cut reality . No one gaves a f about your substance abuse in cia and what u do in your free time uas long as your tests are negative or effects your performance.
Eloquence and the ability to clearly explain an idea is a telltale sign for me... Yup... And yet this eloquence is such a standard to strive for, then his interpersonal interaction to set 4 guys at ease to talk AND make them feel important! STELLAR!
🤔
Sarcasm? cause this was hot garbage
Cool to hear so many details about the process for The Agency. This podcast is at the top of my rotation!
this is probably the most fascinating thing I've ever listened to
Literally had to watch this guys interview on another platform cause Andrew wouldn't stop dominating the conversation and interrupting everyone. Let the man speak, he's a guest for a reason.
22:23 Akaash attempts to ask a question but is immediately interrupted by Andrew
nobody cares....
23:33 Andrew apologizes to Akaash and let's him have the floor.
Presented to you by, I don't have a life either.
Happens all the time
That’s his puppy
@@nimmha6708 that wasn’t his question 😂 stop talking down to people, it makes you feel worse.
3. I fail to see why anyone thinks they’re a gatekeeper for another’s thoughts.
That’s silly, you silly geese.
you make a very good point. @@Locke-j6j
Those are good points, but the real problem is he’s now pretending to be a true analyst or spy in terms of his ‘knowledge’ about foreign countries, politics, history, and culture. Spreading shallow propaganda is dangerous and harmful for the US.
This is fire 🔥 bro this got me thinking like dam man
