When I was in dontonbori, I was trying to get an anya figure in this smaller crane game place. It was one where the box was sitting on 2 bars and you had to move it to the wider side. I was STRUGGLIN and this one worker lady just started helping me without the sumimasen and she moved this box like 10 TIMES and I STILL was failling. Me and the other girls I was with were basically on the floor dying laughing and with my finally coin I manged to get it. The worker was just as excited as I was XD. It was like 3 to 4000 yen but it was worth it

Watching conner play crane games helped me when I went to Japan 3 weeks ago and I can say I spent copious amounts of money trying to get the Giant Cinnamoroll. Did I get it? hell yeah i did! Did i make a scene cursing at the bugger and yelling "get over here"... yeah but i didn't realize i drew a crowd XD, Did i spend a shit ton of money on it... Yeah. It got to the point where one worker at the place didn't even need to be asked for help he just did and was so nice. In the end i spent over 7500 yen on the one HUGE cinnamoroll. Luckily they had the vacuum sealer at the Taito place I was at because that would have been a challenge to bring back to Canada. Thank you conner for your videos! it helped a lot as this trip was full of crane games and gacha's, something I've never done before and enjoyed tremendously
