Here are my thoughts after owning a Cybertruck for a month. Enjoy and make sure to subscribe.

@3:35 you didn't measure the width, will it carry a 4x8 sheet of plywood? I know I can google that lol but, it would be embarrasing if it couldn't.
The ugly: you can see it right away.
how has it been keeping it clean? have you gone to automatic car washes?
It’s easy to keep clean. And yeah I’ve taken it to the car wash
A bit surprised to see garage door openers? Or were they in the mirror you took out? Overall, a fan of the truck. Would have loved to see a 400 mile range. I went with a new Tacoma and wish I had a 400 mile range in that also! Nice job on the video.
The motor and tire Norris is no issue for me. I should be taking delivery on 11 April. My music is up too loud for me to hear anything else. And I was told the sound system is really good for that truck.
What do you do if you get a flat with no spare? Just curious. I just got an email today to configure mines.
Same as any other vehicle with no spare. Either fix a flat or have it towed. Tesla mobile service can come to you as well and replace it
I move the sunshade over my head in the horizontal position instead of flipped down. You can flip it down after it clears your head. You should be fine even at your height.
The answer to range question I give high enough since I can easily charge from home or higher then I need on road trip before I have to stop anyways. The small issues you had are common when new cars are delivered at the dealerships. The thing there is they fix them before putting them out to sell and the you still have many to pick from as a customer.
Matt, do you ever do live AMA'? I think you would be good at that format.
19:00 just touch and drag the rear view window to the right like you can with the blindspot view.
Both your visor and window button issues are directly related to your seating position. If they fixed the issues for your body and seat setting, they would "break" it for other people with different body sizes and seat settings.
Can you sync any phone into cybertruck?

@@killedbycoconuts two weeks. Should have been one. Turns out the truck was sitting at the delivery center for over a week but that’s an entirely separate video on its own.
Where are you located. I'm in Maryland and have been waiting for a VIN since December.
My email came late January it said my vin will be assigned Feb, march or April. When did you get your email?
Today cyber truck is popular. In 2025-26 it will be a regular annoying Tesla car all around in every big city

My Seating position in my CyberBeast is a bit further back than yours so no issue with location of buttons nor the sun visor. Incidentally I noticed you put your garage clicker on the visor…what do you do with the clicker when you need to fold it down?
Major recall on all Cybertrucks. Gas pedal gets stuck. Park it until it fixed.
Not a single accelerator pedal has got stuck yet. Quit overreacting

I'd rather have the truck sooner and have things worked out after as long as it's not a safety risk.
In fact, my cybertruck has been in service for over 2 weeks now.
You have to say something. They have a 1 year 12k warranty for noise and vibrations issues. 4 year apparently doesn't cocer it

Turn the sun visor 90 degrees position before turning it towards the window, then turn it down 90 degrees. This way it doesn't hit your noggin!
11:55 Tesla has stated on X (can't recall which engineer it was) that this is going to be improved on a near future OTA update.
Yeah it was Wes their chief engineer.
Can you turn off the side view mirror cam pop-up like other Teslas? I saw two big garage door openers on the visor. Will there be a Homelink update soon?

@@MattWallaceTech Lol i pay 114 a month for my 2014 honda crv lx full coverage. Trust me the insurance is gonna go way up once you had it couple years if you still have it. The rearview mirror should be a digital mirror cheap ass tesla.
@@MattWallaceTech The stamped steel upper control arms is super cheap they need to replace that looks like a cheap piece of sheet meta.l lol thats def gonna fail and people need to start making cybertruck regular suspension cause the air suspension is def gonna end up falling aswell.

10:12 tip: don't fold it down all the way. Do it just slightly so it's mostly horizontal and it should give you more head clearance. To be fair, tall guys like us have to do this in most every car.
How high off the ground is the bed of the cargo box?
I couldn’t find this dimension online. I found 32 inches is an average bed height for pickup trucks but I haven’t seen for the Cybertruck specifically.

Did you say altitude affects the cars range? That is a new piece of information for me.
Yep. More gas cars than electric but cars behave differently at sea level compared to higher altitudes. Also going uphill and downhill.
I would put it differently. Unlike ICE engines BEVs do not care about altitude so long as it does not change. Changes in altitude do affect EV range. The regen process is not perfect One loses about 10 or 20% as regen converts the kinetic to electrical then chemical.

You mentioned the placement of the controls on the armrest. So I looked up the average height of the human population, since I’m 5 feet, 7 inches tall. The average human is 5 foot, 5 inches tall. I’m guessing they built the truck to fit the average human.

They are fast losing their novelty status, in my opinion
My Delivery Specialist has a cybertruck himself and he is using an employee build of software that IS running autopilot so it's coming soon if it'a already in the employee build
Hydrochloric acid is an exception to the general acid resistance of stainless steel and should be avoided.
Starting at 16:19 everything outside of the window looks fake because of the lighting. Looks like a semi low res video game.

17:48 thinking that AP could have come with the CT on day 1 is simply a complete ignorance of how this technology works. They could not just copy it over from the other cars. Camera placement, steer by wire, and 4 wheel steering all have a big impact. They need data from the currently very small fleet to train on. It will come.
They were driving them on public roads two years before deliveries started so they’ve had plenty of time to “gather data”

I don’t mind the white trim. It’s not bright at all. Kinda wish it was a matte carbon fiber though.

Much appreciated. Taking off the mirror is super simple and takes less than a minute. Just have a T20 screwdriver handy and something to pry off the cover
10:38 Visor hits you on the head when swinging it to the side window position.. Suggestion: Flip the visor up so that its parallell to the ceiling of the cabin and as near to the headliner as it can get before swinging it over to the side window and then flip it back down to block the glare. There are lots of cars for which I have to go thru this exercise as I, too, like to sit high in the car.
Sun visor to the side? Hitting your head? OMG - That’s no different than with any other car!
Can't afford 1700 a month for the 100k loan. Gonna have to wait and pass on the foundation series. Much like everyone else.

That is such a low insurance rate. What insurance did you get? I got a quote for double that for a Ford Ecosport…I dont own it I was just cross shopping for insurance. I got many quotes. None were lower. I also got another quote for around $250 for a 10yr old Passat. I am 28yrs old and never been in an accident or gotten a ticket. Also this is not with a low deductible. This was with a $1,000 deductible.
It’s funny how spoiled Tesla drivers are with no Auto Pilot! We are so used to having these amazing cars drive for themselves, that not having it a couple weeks is like having no internet or no power at your house!!! Just goes to show you how Tesla drivers could never drive any vehicle besides a Tesla because they are so awesome.

Just ordered my foundation series and waiitng for the VIN...hopefully it will be ready in June. Right now still enjoying my Model X.
its not possible for them to release autopilot before mass roll out because of how tesla now realized they can train their AI models. They used to have thousands of employees categorizing things for the AI models to use but then Tesla realized that all they needed to do was just have drivers teach the AI model how to drive. They need millions of miles driven to teach the AI model accurately so as more people drive the cyber truck your driving patterns, habits, what humans do will get incorporated into the AI models. They cant use the existing models because of the new camera placements and hardware. So until people drive enough to feed the AI models they cant release it yet because again its people driving that teaches the AI model collectively.
It’s just ugly truck that’s really not my taste love Tesla but this is not a truck this is a army hummer EV looks

The sound system is fantastic in this thing
The real hate is found in videos that’s created on a negative tone. With the help of RUclips’s algos, those videos are exposed to the most rabid haters out there. You don’t read only “oh it’s ugly” you’ll find “I hope the company fails!!!”
