It’s absolutely ridiculous people have gone out of their way to hate an inanimate object. No worries, I appreciate Tesla’s decision to produce a revolutionary vehicle. I’m an early reservation holder and have been invited to purchase a Foundation Cyber. I’m choosing to hold off for now, I may have regrets if the non Foundation Cyber has less features. Thanks for the excellent six months review, keep up the good work!
Congratulations you are our first ever giveaway winner! Please send me an email with your shipping information and I will ship the Cybertruck backpack to you. If I do not receive the email in 3 days I will have to pick a new winner. Thanks
Congrats on 6 months, anyone that verbally insults and throws stuff at another person’s vehicle has serious underlying insecurity problems that go beyond the looks of the car. That’s embarrassing adults behave like that when children don’t.
Insecurity problems? maybe, but keep in mind that an EV is perceived as 'evil' by "X" % of the population. EVs vs gas cars are part and parcel of the HUGE chasm in American Life
I'm in my 60's and I think the reason why people throw things at you is because the really want to have enough money to get one themselves. Or, they are afraid of technology. The only things I see that could be a problem is the mirrors size ,the slanted back is too deep near the cab, the back cover blocks the back window when its closed. You guys could use a heads up display on the dashboard. Hope you get what you want after paying so much money for the truck. I think the next one should have a level back sides of the bed and the back window not being blocked from the cover for the bed. And bigger mirrors for safe reasons so incase the screen go blank. Just a thought. Enjoy your truck.
Picked mine up last night, so this is my 20 hour review 😂 No panel gaps or misalignments. No creeks, rattles, or squeaks (fingers crossed). Went through the drive through to get a soda this morning and the smile on the McDonald's employee was priceless.
@@LaJuanHughesOrdered mine on June 4. I also ordered tactical grey and I think that delayed delivery a bit. It looks good; my MSP has a white interior so this is a nice change
Add a few things..... The hitch is tucked too far under the truck, makes it easy to jackknife and can't open gate, Floor vents for a/c?, Should also be a "rear steer lockout" when towing or backing up. (would make it easier to back up a trailer keeping rear wheels straight) I have around 13k miles on mine in 2 months, 3 road trips, and tow a lot.
Some really great points. I did mention the hitch receiver being tucked too far back for my liking in an earlier video I about tow improvements ruclips.net/video/hLzHNG7ClIw/видео.html I do agree with the rear steering making it harder to backup a trailer, that in conjunction with the lack of proper tow mirrors
@@KrennPowerSports I thought reas steer could be turned off. I remember TFL saying it was off while doing the tractor pull. For the car with. Trailer mode. It would be nice to have it disable tilt mirrors when backing .
I almost didn’t go through with my delivery because of all the negative bs you see from people online. I’m so glad I didn’t let that stop me, it’s the most amazing vehicle I have ever been in, I love the beast!
Main reason I started my channel was to provide unbiased content. I am glad that you didn't listen to all of the people only looking for clicks and you pulled the trigger on your CT. Its an amazing truck
My biggest hesitation is range. Living in Florida one of my vacation destinations is outer banks North Carolina which is 12-14 hours driving. I usually don’t drive more than 7-8 hours and spend the night. It’s hard enough getting a decent hotel on short notice but charging needs would make that much more complicated. If you spend the night and the hotel has chargers Im assuming that you need at least 8 hours and what if the charging stations are being used? Are you going to wake up in middle of night to see if one is available and how much range can you get out of 3-4 hours? With regular truck you know that fuel is available within 20 minutes no matter where you are and when you stop to refuel it will only take a few minutes no matter how much you need.
Unfortunately I cannot predict the future, if I could I'd be rich 🤣 but ultimately you need to figure out what do you want out of your next vehicle. If you need a truck because of the utility then go with the CT. If you want the luxury and comfort go with the G Wagon. No matter which one you choose you are getting an awesome vehicle
Would love to hear your experience with range while towing. Would I be able to tow a 7k lb boat 50 miles, let the truck sit all day (without on charger) and then drive 50 miles back home (with my boat again of course)?
I would say yes because the boat will have less drag than my trailer, which gives me approximately 125 miles. Elevation and wind can really change range as well
Great overview. I have a Lightning and absolutely fell in love with the ride quality and quiet power EVs have. People just need to go for a drive and it will change their mind forever.
EVs are just big toys. They're not practical at all. If you simply ask the simple questions, you'll get the answers. We don't need to try it. No EV is more practical and efficient than a vehicle that requires fuel to operate.
@@busterhoodstar6598 you’re idea of long winded to others is well thought out, educated and knowledgeable. I’m happy to hear your thoughts if you disagree with any of the facts I’ve laid out. Maybe an EV isn’t practical for your situation, that’s fine. Don’t buy one, but for many it is and science and math are on my side when it comes to efficiency.
Great video! I just got my cybertruck two weeks ago and love it. Any idea if at home charging will be faster soon? Feels like I’m getting half of what I get for my Y.
Man, I really hope they can speed up the home charging. I made a video about it shortly after taking delivery and it is definitely slower than every Tesla that I have ever owned
Totally agree about air suspension. I tow horses and heavy trailers in my (also) daily driver. After about 5 trucks, I now put in air suspension on every truck tow with. Regardless of the brand, the second I get a truck, I do a spray in bedliner, and airbags. Also, on every single truck... Once the tires bite the dust, they all get bfg at/kos asap.
Awesome review - I've had mine for 3 months now and I share many of the same thoughts. Do not regret it at all. Would like to have HDMI inputs on the front screen for a trailer reverse camera, or Tesla could make a "towing rear view mirror" to go in place of the existing one that has a screen for either a trailer reverse camera or a truck reverse camera.
Best review I've seen on the Cybertruck. Honestly, all the douchebag influencers have put out so much awfully shallow hype content about the CT that it only feeds the hate and the trolls, and it also creates misinformation and misconceptions. Your review was so straightforward, family-focused, and down to Earth, I really appreciate it.
I cannot stand how much misinformation that is put out. Main reason I started my channel was to provide unbiased content. Glad that you enjoy the videos
@@Butter_EV Funny story: I actually rented a Cybertruck this past weekend for $200 to take my son on a day trip to the Oregon coast, and we absolutely loved it. I was stunned with how damn smooth the ride was. In "comfort mode," the Cybertruck was like a Cadillac or Mercedes S-class. Also, the four-wheel steering is an absolute game-changer. At one point, it allowed us to pull into a parking spot that was at a 45-degree angle away from our direction of travel (i.e. a "wrong way" parking space), but we were able to pull into it with no problem. The tight turning radius absolutely blew my mind. My son couldn't stop talking about how much he loved the truck. Getting back into my Model 3 Performance afterwards felt like I was driving something antiquated. Ha!
Had mine for about six months as well. I have no complaints. Getting tired of the whining about miles per charge. At release the rear wheel drive was listed as over 250 miles, the dual motor over 300 miles, which it does 320, only the tri motor missed the expected mileage.
Funny because the AC in the CT is actually one of the best I have ever experienced. I live in SoCal so temps are well over 90F almost everyday during the summer and the AC cools the CT very quickly
Good objective video. What is your typical range between charge stops when towing that long trailer? I assume you’re using a load equalizer hitch system with anti sway? Do you feel that trailer is pushing the CT around with the air suspension?
When towing it all depends on weather, wind and whether I'm going up hill or down. With that being said I get somewhere between 90-125 miles on a full charge. Most of my camping is within that range so it works out but for those longer trips plan on making frequent stops. I do not use a weight distribution hitch with sway bars on my CT. I actually did on my first trip until one of my viewers stated that you shouldn't use that setup on unibody vehicles. I called my hitch manufacturer and they stated the same. I haven't used on since and I haven't had any issues so far 🤞🏻 Trailer absolutely does not push the CT around. It did with my 1/2 ton truck hence why I upgraded to the 1 ton Ram. After taking delivery of the CT I actually held onto the Ram 3500 for two months as I was 100% sure the CT would be able to do the job but as you saw in my video I truly feel that the CT does a better job towing MY trailer than even the 3500 and it isn't even close to the 1/2 truck. Thanks for watching and commenting. Good luck with the giveaway!!
Thank you for providing a thoughtful, honest review of your Cybertruck. It's very helpful for those of us who plan on towing and using it for family camping.
Glad that you enjoyed the video. I am actually in process of making my CT an overland truck. I've got a lot of content coming down the pipeline. Stay tuned
I have owned Tesla model 3 long range about 4yrs, I really love it! I have also waited about 4yrs for cybertruck! Finally it launched in Canada! I’m going to tradin my model 3 for this amazing truck for my airstreams flylingcloud 23Fb😊. The major reason I chose cybertruck is self driving functions in order to tow my airstream trailer more safe for long distance trips!
I'm coming up on 2 months with my CT and have no regrets. My main pain point has been the size of the truck since it barely fits in my garage! Also I live in Socal, so CT are becoming more and more common here every day. I've had numerous thumbs up, and only one double-middle finger...mostly I don't get any attention since Teslas are so common around here. Anyway, thanks for the review...I'm definitely keeping mine!
Thanks for the watch and comment. Yes, the attention is dying down here in SoCal but I literally had a mustang owner give me the bird just two days ago 🤦🏻♂️
The inability to sideload is possible feature, not a bug. In winter when my truck was salty, my lazy kids would lean over and rub the salt into the paint and their clothes. I realize the Cybertruck won't be scratched, but it forces you to climb into the bed and load everything at once.
This writer wonders if a clever body shop man could cut and fit some inset side steps? These were common on trucks in the 1970's. If he is clever, the cut out body steel panel could be hinged and sprung, so it would be flush to the body when not in use. For the record, I do not need ANY EV truck, but I DO own a 2019 Kia Niro BEV
Nice video, these things are growing on me. I was just thinking, for backing your trailer, maybe you could set up a backup camera on the roof of the rear of the trailer?
Your point about negative reactions…from what I have seen 98% of the people who see it in person love it. If you are reacting to online comments it’s probably just trolls.
Thanks for your review. I'm still waiting for my non Foundation Cybertruck. I'm a day 1 reservation holder and can't wait to get my hands on one. When I saw the title of this video I was prepared to be convinced out of buying the truck. I've watched many of your videos and I have grown to trust your experience and opinions. I'm very happy you have enjoyed it with your family. It really makes me want it even more. By the way 12.5 is rolling out to early testers so it's just a matter of time. It would also be good content. Thanks again for the video and keep up the good work.
Great in depth video. Wonder if someone will make one pulling a Jetski as it is lighter and if range loss should be a lot less. I always pull my Jetski to lake perris and Laughlin and wonder how it will affect the range.
@@Butter_EV that would be amazing! I have a CT on reservation and have been wondering how that would be with my Jetski. Borrow my Jetski if you do that video lol
Great 6-month review video! Really was comforting to hear this as I await fulfilling my non-Foundation reservation later this year, hopefully. I would like to offer an idea that might help with prioritizing pull-thru stalls to those actually towing. This idea would require some UI changes from Tesla, but your channel could be just the voice needed to give this idea the needed visibility in the community and eventually to Tesla. The idea is to allow only those actively towing to reserve an available pull-thru stall once they are within some reasonable Supercharger arrival radius. I believe CTs and possibly other Teslas as well can either sense if the vehicle is really towing, or just know already as the vehicle has been set to tow mode. This could prevent those not towing from abusing the reservation system. Next, with navigation set to a specific Supercharger with a pull-thru stall(s), from the vehicle’s screen one would reserve a stall beginning 5 minutes before your current estimated arrival time. To other vehicles remotely checking that SC availability this stall would show as RESERVED beginning at X:XX am/pm. Charging for others at this reserved stall would be disabled 5 minutes prior your arrival. This is fully within Tesla’s ability to identify specific vehicles during the initial vehicle to charger handshake. Typical Supercharger idle fees would encourage the other vehicle to move out of the stall during those 5 minutes. I believe this is fair, relatively simple, and possible completely with some in-vehicle UI additions. What do you think?
Thank you for the kind words and support. I have thrown out similar ideas on how to keep non towing vehicles out of the pull through stalls but your in-depth ideas are amazing. I will bring this up on my podcast tomorrow and will definitely mention this in a future tow video. Thanks 🙏🏻
I get somewhere around 125 miles pulling my trailer but this will all defer on the weather and terrain. Also in my tow tests I have learned that the more aerodynamic the trailer the much better range. I towed a Bowlus and got well over 200 miles of range out of the CT ruclips.net/video/CAXeQmr3J5w/видео.htmlsi=L6CtXGUnhenhD5iY
Very well taken pros and cons. Couple more, I wish rear seats were reclinable, just a little at least, Wish there are USB-C ports on the dashboard and/or around/behind the screen.
Very good points. I do wish that they had plugs behind the screen so you mount your phone and charge it without a cord going across the truck. Reclining rear seat would be really nice as well. I didn't think about it since I rarely sit back there
Great review - thanks for sharing. Since most of the Supercharger Network was developed before the CT, will be interesting to see how Tesla pivots to accommodate. I also wonder what it will take to be able to ramp up some of those chargers to handle the max capacity of a CT or if they will need to replace them. Do you use a weight distribution hitch at all on your trailer and are you able to open the tailgate when parked and straight? I was surprised to see the truck would let you lower the tailgate from the app or screen even if you were close enough to something where it would hit. Do you have lots of drain on hot days? Any recommendations on how to combat it? Keep the videos coming - Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words. In order to charge at 350kws, which the CT can do, a tesla supercharger stall would need to be replaced with the new V4 stalls. I do not use a weight distribution hitch as a viewer stated that I shouldn't use one with the CT since it is a unibody. I called my hitch manufactured and they stated the same. I cannot open my tailgate when hitched to my trailer. I don't see too much phantom drain on hot days but I am in Las Vegas right now and in 115 degree weather so I'll pay close attention to that. Look out for a YT short this weekend talking about that 😉
It's amazing that there's this many comments! As for the haters, ignore em! Change is difficult for some people! Tks for taken time for the review! Good info Sir.
Good change is good my friend, not a 7000 pounds of stainless steel rolling on the road with no crumble zone, this truck is not safe for the people inside or outside. I just hope this truck doesn't become self driving
This was the BEST CyberTruck video I have seen so far, and I have watched tons! Sorry I missed the cut off for your raffle. Your comments are all 100% sensible. I plan to get a CyberTruck for towing a travel trailer just like you do. But I never thought about how it would work at charging stations. I bet there are very few or NO charging stations that are “pull thru” so you can pull your trailer through it when you are done. That’s definitely a consideration. I have never owned a travel trailer, so I don’t know how much hassle it is to take it off and reconnect it. But if you needed to stop for a couple of charges on a single day, I can see where that would be a real pain, though probably still worth it with all things considered. Also, I am 100% with you on needing the range extender! Totally necessary for towing a trailer. On your complaint about the conflict between using the rear camera view OR the navigation view, I don’t see that as much of a problem as long as the navigation is telling me where to turn. I might look at the map once an hour on a long drive, but I would just keep the rear camera view on all the time except for those moments. And once self-driving comes out on the CyberTruck, I would probably not look at the map at all. Of course, we don’t even know if self-driving will work while towing!! If it doesn’t work for towing, that will be another problem. Anyway, thank you for your fantastic and thoughtful review! Wishing you many happy miles and trips with your family in your vehicle and trailer! 👍
Thank you for commenting. Don't worry I will have many more raffles here soon. There are pull throughs but they don't tell you where they are located so it's a guessing game
Great review. The comments on the ‘road car’ use are especially helpful to me. I am (patiently) waiting for my reservation number to come up. Vicarious living through your RUclips episodes are greatly appreciated! Ted
Thanks for your feedback on your CT. I’m going on 2 months with mine and I freaking love it. You made made some some some comments on your dislikes but it’s all good it’s still bad ass.
how about the back bench seat? Since there is no recline, it is still comfortable when taking long trips over an hour or more. My Q app is free to use, only needs to pay if you want it to auto-open
Tbh I have never sat in the rear seats for an extended period of time but that is a great question. I will ask my kids but not sure that they'll be able to provide great insight
Thanks for the update. I’m on the same situation as far as towing similar trailer currently with an F-150 Lariat Ecoboost . The fact that the Cybertruck was a lot less range and double the price was a big letdown for people who want to use the Cybertruck for truck purposes. Still want to get one but at this state don’t see it replacing my F-150 as I can get close to 400 miles towing on that . Really hope a Tesla just goes and fills the extra bed storage with batteries in the Cybertruck and not charge the customers for that extra range . I feel like a Cybertruck with 420 miles would be at the right spot even for towing as you can hit most places with 200 miles pulling a trailer .
You make some great points and that is why I was super disappointed when they didn't deliver on the 500 mile promise. I do think that there will be a long range variant at some point. Just wish mine was one of them
Love your detailed usage review, range and pull-thru charge is definitely an issue when towing. Debating between a F450 Ranch with 5th wheel and a Cybertruck, I think Cybertruck has the ability to cover more usability envelope than F450, with exception of 5th wheel as you’ve said. Thanks for a great and informative review.
I'm happy that the video is helping with your decision. If you're going with a 5th wheel, I wouldn't blame you, then the F-450 has to be the choice. Thanks for watching and commenting
I was considering getting this truck, but I’m glad I didn’t. I ended up canceling my reservation. While I didn’t mind the looks, the range was a major letdown, especially the towing range, which just didn’t meet my needs. Now I’m exploring the Silverado EV and Sierra EV instead.
I appreciate your experience towing. I’m not new to trucks but I am new to towing and looking to get some toys to pull. It’s disappointing to hear that you get about 90 miles of towing. Hoping there’s an update to let it charge faster and get FSD soon
wow man its the first time i came across your vlogs and I'm a real fan of the cyber truck as well but! this is the first time that i got to watch a REAL honest video about the cyber truck the pro's the con's and everything around it! and I'm real amazed of the clearness and professionalism from what you have shared and explained in the video! keep it up man!!!😍
Thanks for the vid. I’m waiting to purchase a non foundation CT, and recently rented one on Turo for a 24 hour rest drive. The vehicle is awesome thanks for all your vids.
The nema 14-50 is great, but Tesla should have a 60 amp breaker and high quality socket to handle the full 48 amps to power an 11.5 kw EVSE, along with peak high demand for boondocking and emergency backup power.
@@LaJuanHughes I got my order email June 7th and ordered the same day. Took delivery July 25th. I ordered the AWD Tactical gray with CyberWheels. If I had ordered the White interior I could have taken delivery within 5 days. And to respond to your other comment, Yes I love this vehicle. I don't tow so that is not a concern for me, but I do carry a bunch of stuff in the bed and I like how it is lockable when needed and the cover disappears when I need to carry larger items. Ride and steering is awesome. So glad I made the decision.
Have to agree about the look. Didn't like it at all when I saw the design at the unveiling event. It grew on me though. It will be my next vehicle. I have a 2024 M3 LR & love it. Thanks for sharing your experience so far 👍
I appreciate the kind words. I am happy with the range but don't get me wrong I wish there was more range. Once they get more pull through charging stalls that'll make towing life much easier
Hey great video very informative. I've been looking into an electric car myself. I loved all the points that you pointed out with the tow And the pull through charger. Well, good luck to all of us that entered the contest
Is it possible for the 50amp in the cyber Truck. To switch to 30amp I have a G20BHS. I would love to run the a/c off grid. Also for your camera. Look into haloview for cameras for the trailer for side markers. Currently now I am using a 2014 Trd pro taco. I am glad you made this video. Also, if you look into proclip USA on their website, I think they’re in California, but I have in my pick up truck. A seat mounted for the halo view screen suction cup mounts don’t really work that great. Also I tow boats all day long I have a boat business my AR240 is pretty heavy I noticed roughly 4 tanks of fuel (2) for the boat (2) for the truck. I have put down a deposit for the cyber truck. What about the weight distribution hitch does it help out with the squat. Also since you like camping so much, there’s a really nice place. It’s kind of far away from you. Would be a fun road trip for a video. It’s the camp Margaritaville RV resort in pigeon Forge Tennessee. That place is really awesome.
You cannot toggle amperage but it will be able step down automatically. I will look into those cameras, thanks. I do not use a weight distribution hitch as a viewer mentioned that you do not want to use one on a unibody. I then called my hitch manufacture and they stated the same. I'd love to go to TN but man thats a drive 🤣
@@Butter_EV That is very disappointing, At 10:53 in your video, there is heaps of travel visible between the tyre and the arch. I drive a semi truck with air suspension and in that world, I would expect to be able to drop the suspension a LOT further (and thus to be able to reach a lot further into the bed over the side). Are you SURE you've got the lowest setting? I'm in the UK and whilst they have been on tour over here, it was always at a distance - no chance for hands-on.
I would suggest getting a wireless backup camera system for your trailer. I purchased one for my older SUV that doesn't have a backup camera. I'll try to post the link below.
Tesla should have put a driver's side display with dedicated speed, next turn map, etc. This would get rid of the issues with functions on the center display interfering with normal driving. They do this on the S and X. They should have brought it over to the Cybertruck.
First of all, congratulations on getting your dream truck! I wish I could have one too, but it's too expensive for me. I'll just wait for the more affordable rear-wheel drive version to come out soon. Great job on creating a video that was both engaging and informative! Great review, I've had one reserved since 2019 hopefully 2025 will be the year for me. I have a model X and had the same issue with signing up for myQ there is no reason for us pay for a garage door opener, the good news is that I didn't sign up for myQ but was able to set up my garage door with Tesla's HomeLink, it works perfectly and it's free!!!
Thank you for what seems to be an honest, unbiased review. I’m really looking forward to one day getting mine and hopefully people won’t throw trash on it 😂.
As a road trip vehicle, like my model Y the range is a major deterrent and the reason I haven’t converted my CT first day reservation…once it gets 4 to 500 mile range without the bed extender I’ll get one~
Thank you for your honest 6 months review. You made good points on the towing camera feature. Also I learned that up can open the frunk with the button. I've never seen that with other videos lol. Awesome backpack.
Sounds like a lot of the issues would get fixed overtime through over the air updates. Sounds like Tesla made something amazing with this vehicle. Can’t wait to have one for myself at some point in the future
@Butter_EV8 oh wow that’s awesome! That backpack I’ve been looking at for 6 months since the Cybertruck started shipping, my 6-year old backpack is just starting to fall apart, if this is true it will be put to great use 😁
Even if I really wanted a vehicle such as this I would not pay $15K as part of the purchase price for “full self-driving” That I would never be able to use. And that’s that.
Good productive video. I am also early cybertruck reservation holder. Received my invitation to order one, but I am still waiting for these types of small changes come to the truck. Also not ready to put extra $20k on top. My MYP is enough for now. Good luck with your youtube channel.

I'm in my 60's and I think the reason why people throw things at you is because the really want to have enough money to get one themselves. Or, they are afraid of technology.

Great points! Rear steer lockout is something they can add with a software update if enough people request it.
@Butter_EV8 your not very good at this
My biggest hesitation is range.
I do agree that EVs aren't ready for super long road trips just yet. This is why the 500 mile CT was a must 🤦🏻♂️
Debating on this or a G550 G Wagon, which will hold value better?
Elevation and wind can really change range as well
Just have mine. One month anniversary. So far couple people flipped me at the freeway. But I don’t care, I enjoy driving.
Same I laugh at them 🤣
Great overview. I have a Lightning and absolutely fell in love with the ride quality and quiet power EVs have. People just need to go for a drive and it will change their mind forever.
💯 don't knock it until you've tried it
EVs are just big toys. They're not practical at all. If you simply ask the simple questions, you'll get the answers. We don't need to try it.
No EV is more practical and efficient than a vehicle that requires fuel to operate.
@bowefamilyEV I measure practical and efficient by using common sense. Your long-winded response didn't negate my point in the slightest.
@bowefamilyEV you put a lot of thought into your responses, I get it. It works for you, I understand. Have a nice day.
It’s crazy to me that every Cybertruck owner I talk to are saying they get a lot of hate for this truck. When did it become a crime to own a vehicle.
When the whole country is based off oil and elon is trying to go electric.
People are crazy
Totally agree about air suspension. I tow horses and heavy trailers in my (also) daily driver. After about 5 trucks, I now put in air suspension on every truck tow with. Regardless of the brand, the second I get a truck, I do a spray in bedliner, and airbags. Also, on every single truck... Once the tires bite the dust, they all get bfg at/kos asap.
💯
Awesome review - I've had mine for 3 months now and I share many of the same thoughts. Do not regret it at all. Would like to have HDMI inputs on the front screen for a trailer reverse camera, or Tesla could make a "towing rear view mirror" to go in place of the existing one that has a screen for either a trailer reverse camera or a truck reverse camera.
I'm glad that you enjoyed the review. I really hope that Tesla comes up with a replacement mirror especially for those who tow
Ha!
I’ve had my CyberBeast for one month and while I love it, I agree with your feedback and issues.
🙏🏻
Had mine for about six months as well. I have no complaints. Getting tired of the whining about miles per charge. At release the rear wheel drive was listed as over 250 miles, the dual motor over 300 miles, which it does 320, only the tri motor missed the expected mileage.
I do wish that they delivered on the initial 500 mile range but I will buy the extender when available
@Butter_EV1 Cool....Champ?
Have you ever driven it in over 100F weather? I’m curious on how the air conditioning holds up.
I haven't used on since and I haven't had any issues so far 🤞🏻
Trailer absolutely does not push the CT around.
Awesome, enjoy your CT
I'm coming up on 2 months with my CT and have no regrets. My main pain point has been the size of the truck since it barely fits in my garage! Also I live in Socal, so CT are becoming more and more common here every day. I've had numerous thumbs up, and only one double-middle finger...mostly I don't get any attention since Teslas are so common around here. Anyway, thanks for the review...I'm definitely keeping mine!
Thanks for the watch and comment. Yes, the attention is dying down here in SoCal but I literally had a mustang owner give me the bird just two days ago 🤦🏻♂️
I have mine for over 2 months now, love it!
Amazing truck!
The inability to sideload is possible feature, not a bug. In winter when my truck was salty, my lazy kids would lean over and rub the salt into the paint and their clothes. I realize the Cybertruck won't be scratched, but it forces you to climb into the bed and load everything at once.
I've been standing on the tires when I need to reach in
This writer wonders if a clever body shop man could cut and fit some inset side steps? These were common on trucks in the 1970's. If he is clever, the cut out body steel panel could be hinged and sprung, so it would be flush to the body when not in use. For the record, I do not need ANY EV truck, but I DO own a 2019 Kia Niro BEV
Nice video, these things are growing on me. I was just thinking, for backing your trailer, maybe you could set up a backup camera on the roof of the rear of the trailer?
I have a backup camera on my trailer but due to the lack of a cigarette lighter plus I cannot power the screen 🤦🏻♂️
Your point about negative reactions…from what I have seen 98% of the people who see it in person love it. If you are reacting to online comments it’s probably just trolls.
Yes they take pictures
Wrong…98% of people think they are hideous.
He said people flip him off, yell things, and throw drinks on it. That's not online trolls
I get a lot of online trolls but I just had a Mustang driver give me the 🐦 two days ago

It really means a lot to hear your kind words. I am glad that I have been able to provide good content for the community. I can't wait till 12.5
Great in depth video. Wonder if someone will make one pulling a Jetski as it is lighter and if range loss should be a lot less. I always pull my Jetski to lake perris and Laughlin and wonder how it will affect the range.
I can do that content. My sister has a seadoo. Stay tuned
@@Butter_EV that would be amazing! I have a CT on reservation and have been wondering how that would be with my Jetski. Borrow my Jetski if you do that video lol
How far can you go on a single charge pulling that trailer. ?
I'm getting anywhere between 90-125 miles
Thanks 🙏🏻
What is the range when towing the camper trailer.
Thx 😀
Look out for a YT short this weekend talking about that 😉
At the Model X fanfare event, they were towing an Airstream. I wish they were considering pull in stalls back then like they should have.
As you said ..most of those issues would be fixed in time..hopefully by the time I get mine. Kudos to your video. Authentic !!!
Thanks for watching!
9:07 What about the cameras - are they not sufficient?
It's amazing that there's this many comments! As for the haters, ignore em! Change is difficult for some people! Tks for taken time for the review! Good info Sir.
I appreciate the kind words and support 🙏🏼
Good change is good my friend, not a 7000 pounds of stainless steel rolling on the road with no crumble zone, this truck is not safe for the people inside or outside. I just hope this truck doesn't become self driving
Thanks for the review! It's not easy being the first to own such a crazy vehicle
Beta tester 😩
I'm considering buying one of these great trucks but is it something you save on gas? Or are you using as much electricity as you would gas?
Great review. The comments on the ‘road car’ use are especially helpful to me. I am (patiently) waiting for my reservation number to come up. Vicarious living through your RUclips episodes are greatly appreciated! Ted
Glad that you enjoyed the video and my channel. It really means a lot
Configured my beast 2 months ago and it's been radio silence.
Man that sucks. Hopefully you get it sooner rather than later. Trust me it'll be worth the wait, especially for the BEAST!!
Thanks for your feedback on your CT. I’m going on 2 months with mine and I freaking love it. You made made some some some comments on your dislikes but it’s all good it’s still bad ass.
I have my little gripes but I freaking love this truck
how about the back bench seat? Since there is no recline, it is still comfortable when taking long trips over an hour or more. My Q app is free to use, only needs to pay if you want it to auto-open
Tbh I have never sat in the rear seats for an extended period of time but that is a great question. I will ask my kids but not sure that they'll be able to provide great insight
Great Honest Review!!! I agree 100% with your conclusion. I've had mine for 1month. Love it. Very glad to have the Cybertruck. Cool backpack also!
Glad you are enjoying your CT. I haven't heard one owner state that they regret their decision. Theres something to be said for that
Thank you for the review. The darker wrap makes a huge difference on the Cyber truck’s looks.
I am glad that you enjoyed the video. I absolutely love my wrap 😍
How much to wrap it? Looks way better wrapped that that stainless steel bullshit
🤣 I actually miss the stainless steel but to wrap a CT it'll cost somewhere between $2,500 - 6,000 depending on the film and design
Thanks for the update! Glad you're enjoying the truck.
I definitely am and can't wait to share upcoming content
I appreciate your experience towing. I’m not new to trucks but I am new to towing and looking to get some toys to pull.
It’s disappointing to hear that you get about 90 miles of towing. Hoping there’s an update to let it charge faster and get FSD soon
Towing is amazing but an extra 50-100 miles while towing would make a world of differenc
wow man its the first time i came across your vlogs and I'm a real fan of the cyber truck as well but! this is the first time that i got to watch a REAL honest video about the cyber truck the pro's the con's and everything around it! and I'm real amazed of the clearness and professionalism from what you have shared and explained in the video! keep it up man!!!😍

Thanks for the vid. I’m waiting to purchase a non foundation CT, and recently rented one on Turo for a 24 hour rest drive. The vehicle is awesome thanks for all your vids.
Thank you for the kind words and I do believe more people need to rent one before they form an opinion
The nema 14-50 is great, but Tesla should have a 60 amp breaker and high quality socket to handle the full 48 amps to power an 11.5 kw EVSE, along with peak high demand for boondocking and emergency backup power.
I totally agree. I don't think it would've been too much trouble to add the extra 10 amps 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for the honest feedback. I pick up my CT tomorrow and couldn't be more excited

I am excited for the Cybertruck but am worried about short towing ranges. You seem happy enough with the range you are getting. Great video.
I appreciate the kind words. I am happy with the range but don't get me wrong I wish there was more range. Once they get more pull through charging stalls that'll make towing life much easier
Great video - I cancelled my beast last minute because of range and no FSD - hopeful I can pick up a used one when FSD is available
FSD should be out with weeks
Hey great video very informative. I've been looking into an electric car myself. I loved all the points that you pointed out with the tow And the pull through charger. Well, good luck to all of us that entered the contest
I am glad that you enjoyed the video and good luck with the contest!
@Butter_EV1
Well, that’s pretty awesome
When you talk about side access to the bed, you don’t mention dumping the air. How far can you reach when the suspension is slammed?
In the video the suspension was at its lowest setting
I have a Furion wireless camera on my trailer but the screen needs a cigarette lighter to power it and the CT doesn't have one 😩
Tesla should have put a driver's side display with dedicated speed, next turn map, etc. This would get rid of the issues with functions on the center display interfering with normal driving. They do this on the S and X. They should have brought it over to the Cybertruck.
For this price point I totally agree
what wrap did you go with? I like the look of it!
Thanks 😊 it’s 3M 2080 in Brushed Black Metallic
First of all, congratulations on getting your dream truck! I wish I could have one too, but it's too expensive for me. I'll just wait for the more affordable rear-wheel drive version to come out soon.

Non FS is close so if you can wait and save the $20k then I'd recommend that but if you don't mind to pay for FS you won't be disappointed

Thx for the video! That backpack 🎒 would awesome for my 11yr old! Let’s Go! 😊
Good luck with the giveaway!
Thank you for your honest 6 months review. You made good points on the towing camera feature. Also I learned that up can open the frunk with the button. I've never seen that with other videos lol. Awesome backpack.
Thanks and the frunk button is amazing!
Great review. I have just been notified that I can order my CyberTruck and I wanted to get up to date on the current status. Many thanks.
No problem. I am glad that you enjoyed the review!
Great 6 month review! Love your honesty in every video
Thank you 🙏🏻
The best tow truck (you've ever owned)! Let's go! I need to learn how to use the towing hitch, hehehe
Gotta use it as a truck
@Butter_EV1 woot! Awesome! Let’s go!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Sounds like a lot of the issues would get fixed overtime through over the air updates. Sounds like Tesla made something amazing with this vehicle. Can’t wait to have one for myself at some point in the future
Agreed, most will be fixed via OTA updates and yes this truck is amazing. Hope you get yours soon!
Awesome update! Real review and Tesla should listen to you.
Thanks and I hope they do
@Butter_EV1 that is awesome!!
Your videos all great. I am waiting my Cyber truck too.
Thank you and I hope you get yours soon
Awesome review, especially on the towing experience as I have a 21 ft travel trailer…and love that backpack!!! Thanks for all of your videos 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for the kind words. I truly appreciate the support. Good luck with the giveaway 🙏🏻
@Butter_EV8 oh wow that’s awesome! That backpack I’ve been looking at for 6 months since the Cybertruck started shipping, my 6-year old backpack is just starting to fall apart, if this is true it will be put to great use 😁
Even if I really wanted a vehicle such as this I would not pay $15K as part of the purchase price for “full self-driving”
That I would never be able to use. And that’s that.
If I was able to I would've waited and done the subscription
I don't think I in kenya will be able to buy one anytime soon, i love the truck and almost all of itsfeatures. The bag would be nice for now😊
Good luck with the giveaway
I love the cyber truck in dark colors . You picked a great dark color in particular.
Thank you! 🤗
What a great truck! Hoping one day I can safe enough to get one.
It's amazing
Great video feel total honesty throughout. Good for my significant other to better understand what we have on order.
Glad that you enjoyed the video and that it was informative
16:16 Good review . The good thing is we could get an update for the camera for towing. And maybe the info for pull through.
Thank you 🙏🏻 I do love the fact that the CT will only get better with time
@Butter_EV8 the champ of what
Good productive video. I am also early cybertruck reservation holder. Received my invitation to order one, but I am still waiting for these types of small changes come to the truck. Also not ready to put extra $20k on top. My MYP is enough for now. Good luck with your youtube channel.
I appreciate the kind words and hopefully FS can go away sooner rather than later so more people can experience the greatness of this truck
