I am on a medical diet that consists of only 800 calories each day (Newcastle) to reset my pancreas. This routine is challenging enough to keep my muscles strong for the next three weeks while I finish off my diet. I am so excited to have found the channel and to have Sophie as a teacher.

Sophie you’re my favorite Pilates teacher! You explain in a perfect way the movements to stimulate the deep corps muscles with your nice voice, and you also make nice stretching. I have less pain in my back and I use the Pilates principles also in daily life, thank you!👌
Do you know what happened to her or if she has her own channel now? I just rediscovered this video and a few more but they are from long ago. She’s so great and if she has her own channel I’d definitely follow!

I know its a video, but you kinda want to do her proud the whole way through... :) If she's done a DVD i'm buying it!

I have a question about position during the side series. I love pilates and can tell a difference in tone when I stick with the workouts, but I've noticed (especially during this workout) that when we do the moves laying on one side, especially when I lift both legs together for the oblique toning, that I have pain in whatever that bone (right at the top of the leg) is that I lay on when on my side. The next day after this workout it actually felt bruised. Can someone tell me if I'm supposed to roll forward a little or backward during the side series? I've never been to an actual class (unavailable in my area), but I would like to continue with Pilates in my exercise schedule. Thanks for any advice.

I did these Pilates videos in 2013 and to this day haven’t found any other Pilates classes that compare. Love that they’re still here to start again!
